There's peaceful spa music playing throughout the spa and I was quickly assisted by the front desk attendant to check in and get settled in for my appointment. I was easily able to book via phone. What I really appreciated was that during the virtual checkin, there's a section that asks you for which focus areas you'd like the masseuse to focus on during your service. You can then circle different parts of the body (this is shown from different angles as well) to specify where you'd like your masseuse to specifically target. This personalization was very evident during my actual massage and again, I was impressed by how everything was very clean/spotless there. The masseuse politely asked/checked in throughout my massage if I was comfortable and if she was using the right amount of pressure. I was surprised that the oil was slightly heated/warm, but really enjoyed how soothing it was. I left my massage feeling very refreshed and relaxed. Overall, it was one of the best massages I've had and the service was great. I'll definitely be back!

Not only did I experience everything she had mentioned (like improved digestion, less stress, resolved skin issues - just to name a few) but the relief I felt of my back and sciatic pain was way more instant, long lasting and effective than most other treatments I had tried in the past. As herniated disc sufferers know, anything that relieves that sort of pain is a godsend! It's worth noting, I was severely afraid and anxious of needles prior to starting acupuncture, and I found Courtney to be incredibly understanding and patient. She didn't rush me at all, and was super accommodating of my comfort levels. By my third visit, not only was I completely comfortable - I was also fully asleep, open mouthed and practically drooling on the table! Hands down, best sleep I've gotten in years and have continued to sleep this well when consistent with my acu visits! No message to cancel, no email notice and no text however there were numerous text and emails sent less than 24 hours actually reminding me of the appt and nothing to indicate it was cancelled. Its hard to tell if you are even at the correct spot as well, no sign on door, no house number on sign and very dirty entrance, not welcoming at all. I called the office 3 times while I was there knocking on the door but no one called back for over an hour. I was expecting a call with an apology for the lack of professionalism but instead Mr Kevin Clark turned the blame to the patient and I experienced some of the rudest, self entitled and unprofessional demeanors I ever experienced in the health care industry. A simple apology would of sufficed but instead Mr Clark lied and said I received cancellation emails which never happended and refused to take any blame in the matter, he had the audacity to say since I did not return a "Welcome Packet" by Sunday night the appt would of been cancelled instead of just accepting the packet a the time of the appt, also realize this is NOT in writing anywhere, Its just him falsely claiming he told me this info on a call. I hope Mr Clark has a better day, he seems like he really needs it after the way he handled the situation like he did. Cara is thoughtful and in-tune with whatever is going on with my body. I've probably had more than 100 massages in my lifetime and Cara is definitely one of the best. Things I love: - cupping massages - this isn't for everyone, but I've found this to be an effective treatment for me - effective treatments without pain - I used to think it was a good thing when I felt a little hurt after a massage, b/c it meant they really applied deep pressure. No, no, no. Cara has shown me that I can feel release in my muscles and it doesn't need to hurt. - caring and healing vibe - Cara is simply a wonderful human.
