RESPONSE TO BUSINESS:…read more Let me get this straight, you are blaming me for your expired products and rude staff? Really? I was 100% given a hard time during the return process. The interaction was tense, dismissive, and uncomfortable, which is why I spoke up at the time. Whether that tone shows on "video" does not change how it was experienced in person. The facial also caused a major breakout. My skin is still healing! I've had plenty of facials before, and this is the first time I've ever had a reaction like this. I did not previously leave a positive review. This was my first visit and my only review. Instead of taking responsibility or apologizing, the spa is pointing fingers at me, citing "footage" and a supposed positive review that doesn't exist. Their response is ridiculous and only reinforces how unprofessional this business is. My original review stands. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I've never had such a hostile and weird experience at a spa. I spent over $125 on a facial and $100 for two products for my birthday, only to find it smelled disgusting and when I looked at it more closely it was expired. From the moment I walked in and tried to return them, the receptionist was aggressive, rude, and interrogating, as if I owed her an explanation. When I mentioned returning the second unopened item (that wasn't "expired"), she treated me even worse. I literally had to say, "There is no reason to be so nasty to me?" because her behavior was so unprofessional. She then called the owner in front of me, framing the situation to deny the return. I was told she would "make an exception," as if the return was some huge favor. FYI, I was never told products were nonrefundable, and selling expired ones should be corrected without argument. To top it off, the facial caused a horrific breakout. I won't be returning and would caution others before spending money here.

For foot massages, this place cannot be beat! They really make you comfortable with eye mask,…read moreblankets, and soothing music. It was my first time, and I was initially unsure about quite what to expect, and in the front room, I was ok with a half hour massage, although the front desk manager wanted to upsell me for an hour. Then my eye caught a deal: 45 min foot, 45 min body massage, for $85. I was sold and away I went. Got the foot massage first and then I was offered to either sit in a massage chair, or have a private room to lie down on a table. I chose the latter. The entire facility is immaculate, and there are signs in the rooms to *keep your underwear on*, so this is an entirely legitimate place. My only word of warning is that the body massages are VERY deep tissue, which I wasn't quite prepared for, so if you're not used to it, either clearly communicate or perhaps this isn't the place for you. I had two large red stripes running along either side of my spine when I got home: ruptured capillaries, probably as a result of "gua sha" technique. I was sore for about a day but it was well worth it, as my flexibility was incredible afterwards. I'll be back for sure.
