Biscuits so famous that there's always a guaranteed line! Biscuits so famous they have a rather fascinating name accompanying it. I emailed them, expressing my interest in a few items. While I didn't expect a response until they were open, Fran invited me to stop by anyway (we had already departed the OBX). She was kind enough to process our order and ship it safely and securely to us. Again, all before they opened for the season! We were so very pleased with our purchases and the kind service. This continued today when Fran realized that they had charged us twice for our order, something I hadn't realized. She had issued a refund as soon as she learned about this and emailed me the receipt. Again, what an exceptional level of Customer service. This was one of the most disgusting gas station bathrooms I have ever seen. This 7-Eleven is…read morelocated along a highway where many people are traveling through and stopping for gas, food, and restroom breaks, so there is absolutely no excuse for the bathroom to be in this condition. My sister and I stopped specifically because we needed to use the restroom. There were only two stalls. One toilet was completely clogged and unusable. The handicap-accessible stall was technically usable, but there was an unidentified liquid and brown substance all around the toilet and on the floor. The smell and condition of the bathroom were so awful that my sister kept gagging and ultimately could not even use the restroom because she was so disgusted. I understand that public restrooms can get messy, especially at busy gas stations, but this was far beyond a bathroom simply needing to be tidied up. It was extremely unsanitary and genuinely concerning from a health and cleanliness standpoint. At minimum, the clogged toilet should have been marked out of order and the other stall should have been properly cleaned and sanitized. For a location that serves so many travelers, the condition of this restroom was completely unacceptable.
