We were deciding between a few caterers and had a tasting with the Perry's that just sealed the deal. My (now) husband and I walked out of there saying it felt like we just had lunch with our aunt & uncle, it felt like we had known them that long! They are two amazingly warm people -- of course it helps that John is incredibly organized and good at his job and that Nikki makes the most delicious bites. We devoured every little last bite at that tasting.. Nothing went to waste! John was so helpful with everything leading up to the day of as well, from picking out rentals, to working out our timeline. We decided to have a different format (cocktail stations as opposed to a formal sit-down dinner) and working together, John helped us make sure we'd have a smooth flow and that everything would go off without a hitch. As we were working out the details with the rentals, I never felt like he was pushing me one way or the other -- even when he put together the list of kitchen items they'd need (my venue did not provide any set-up), I knew he was being careful about not over-ordering. I really felt like he had my best interests in mind at all times. Having him to coordinate all the details made me feel at ease.. I knew I was in good hands! On our actual wedding day, we were so well taken care of. The staff made sure we were eating (haha, doesn't always happen at weddings!) and everything ran so smoothly. Later in the evening, a very traumatic family emergency happened during the reception that put a frightening pause on the celebration. John was a rock and I really felt like I looked to him for the "What now?" John & Nikki were different from some of our other vendors with whom we'll probably not be in touch again. I feel like we'll be sending John & Nikki Christmas cards for years to come.. :) They embraced us and made us feel like family, and I'm certain they will you too.

Food was delicious, well prepared and presented. Staff were helpful and considerate. Call these people- you will be happy with your choice.

Robyn is incredibly professional and truly makes you feel like your meal is her number one priority. She worked with me to create a menu that would work for all guests, including one who was lactose intolerant / vegetarian. Upon arrival she went right to work and although multitasking kept the kitchen calm and inviting. We enjoyed watching her make fresh pasta while creating 4 additional recipes with ease. She has a lovely disposition and a passion for food that shines through. Now let's talk about the food. First off, each dish complimented each other. The ingredients were so fresh and pure that you could truly taste them all coming together with each bite. Nothing was swimming in sauce or overly salty - truly perfect. The homemade pasta reminded me of Italy and she made sure everything she uses is seasonal. The braised short ribs melted in your mouth. Ever been to a dinner party where everyone becomes incredibly quiet because the food is that good? It happened! We finished the night off with a vegan chocolate pie that left the group asking for the recipe. While we were enjoying everything, Robyn cleaned the kitchen and left it spotless. Everyone was floored by her food and I can honestly say it was talked about the entire time and will be for years to come. I feel thankful I found such a quality chef. I am looking for reasons to book her this summer!

Wild Caught Fish has brought my once borderline-high cholesterol down to normal levels. I love their Wild Ceviche, Wild Calamari, and Wild Rock Shrimp. Prices of seafood are comparable to those of other high-end grocery stores on the Island, such as Wegmans and Whole Foods Market, but Citarella has a larger section of wild caught fish; for example, I do not see Wild Caught Ceviche anywhere but here. The store has other things that I want: gourmet cheese, smoked salmon, caviar, Wagyu beef, nice homemade soups, etc. Everything always looks fresh. Staff gives expert advice and stellar service. Today Zaheer, from the butcher chop, took my order and did an excellent job. Lastly, there are small tables outside to dine. You will find everything you need here for a quick lunch. I enjoy grocery shopping here even though it takes me nearly an hour's drive to come. This was my 400th Yelp review, and I proudly chose Citarella to mark that milestone. I hope that my experience delivers an impact on those who read this review.

The food was INCREDIBLE and the staff was very attentive to our guests' needs. With regards to food, we decided to make it non-traditional with stations and no formal sit downs. Our menu was an infusion of my favorite German/Dutch/NY foods with a Brazilian infusion (my husband is Brazilian). That said, we had stuffed pretzels, gourmet pizzas, a raw bar, and mini take-away burritos (a favorite midnight snack of ours, nonetheless). The appetizers or' pass arounds' consisted of Brazilian favorites like Cochinas. Our specialty drinks consisted of Aperol Spritz and Caiprirnha's. At one point, Chef Marco got creative and suggested we take the Dutch pancake potatoes and combine it with the Brazilian Feijoada, as an infusion of our cultures, and that tasted amazing. Insatiable eats not only cooked amazing food, but they brought forth their creativity, professionalism, and culinary expertise. Everyone had more than enough food and drinks! The staff was also very attentive and made sure all of our guests were happy. They were great with our rental set up and made sure it was up to par with the aesthetic vision we had in mind. They also had a friendly personality and were enjoyable to work with throughout the entire process. Lastly, I'll note that they donated all our leftovers to Citizens 4 Humanity "people helping people" feeding impoverished single mom families on Long Island. So it was wonderful to know that no food went to waste and our wedding brought the love to many others. We definitely picture ourselves keeping in touch and visiting their restaurant the next time we are in the Hamptons. And we'll of course recommend them to anyone!

We stopped, were greeted cheerfully, and quickly found parking before heading to the window to order. My daughter had been there before, but this was my first visit, and we were both treated very well by the staff, including the Vice President of the Shinnecock Nation, who teased me for comparing their lobster rolls with ones I had tried previously at the original Lobster Roll in Montauk, Lunch in Southampton, and Cousins' Maine Lobster trucks back in Pennsylvania. He said theirs use fresh, not frozen lobster meat and are better. We both got the four ounce "Guppy" served Hamptons style - warm lobster topped with warm butter and chives over a bed of arugula served on a toasted brioche roll that came with a generous portion of classic shoestring fries and a pickle. Our sandwiches and fries were terrific, and I even got to try a Montauk iced tea, a local favorite that has half the sugar of Gold Peak sweet tea and came highly recommended by one of the private chefs in the Hamptons that I follow on social media. Overall, we had a great experience.

I was in heaven enjoying this soup. It was nice to have indoor seating. I didn't notice any picnic tables outside? I placed the order on the digital menu board and grabbed my cold beer on the side window. I waited for inside for our food, listening for our number to be called. First impression: Shinnecock Lobster Factory Lobster Roll Bread? Stale The Lobster Roll? I can never find the perfect Lobster Roll on Long Island. I don't get it, New England is kicking our tails (See what I did there?) Lobster: It wasn't coated in butter but a mayo-y mess I ordered the biggest, baddest Lobster Roll they offer. It was meaty but with filler meat like parts of the claw. After I ate the big chucks of cold lobster coated with mayo and was left with cheaper part of the lobster, IMHO the roll wasn't worth the expensive upcharge. My wife ordered a Fried Fish platter. It came with three large pieces of fresh fish. The fish was lightly coated in batter and fried gold brown. The french fries were good as well as the fish, no complaints. The potato chips, I'm assuming they were homemade but after a few minutes became cold and oily, it didn't want me craving more. The Shinnecock Lobster Factory got the lobster bisque down, if they can work on the lobster roll this place would be 5 stars hands down.
