I put $20,000.00 down and paid weekly payments of $449.96. I have been paying on it for 3 yrs in total I paid approximately $94,000.00 on it. I was in content contact with them trying to get caught up. They sent a default letter and I told them I am going to be sending more money. On 12/29/2025 we were on our way to our 3rd repo that day and all of a sudden we are surrounded by Burlington police. They got out and one of the cops went to the driver side where my husband was sitting and put a gun to his head. I asked them why we were being pulled over and he said the truck had been reported stolen. I showed them my registration and insurance and I assured them that I did not report it stolen. They told me it was East Coast truck & trailer who reported it stolen. I told him that is against the law it is a lease purchase, it's a civil matter not a legal matter. He said he had no choice, the charge is unlawful use of a motor vehicle. That we committed this crime on 12/23/2025. And that we fled from justice. We were in NC doing a repo of a Cadillac SUV that day. I have not been to VA since I picked that truck up. And my husband has never been there. We were taken into custody and booked where we has to sit for 30 days to sign extradition papers. I was picked up 15 days later. My husband is still in jail. He has had 2 heart attacks since he has been locked up. We lost everything because of this bogus charge. I mean everything. Do not do any business with them. From the other reviews I have read they are not a reputable company. The detective that came and picked me up told me that when he did patrol that we was called to do a report for the once a week sometimes two times a week for people missing payments on their tow trucks that was financed through them. He said they need to stopped. Even the police officer who arrested me said it was wrong what they were doing and he was sorry that he had to take us in.
