We arrived here in the evening on a Tuesday and our reservation was for a total of four nights. We were in the area in July and decided this was the best option for us to check out the Delmarva Peninsula while doing it on a budget. My wife briefly checked out other Hilton options closer to the beach and they were simply too expensive for us. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet and we enjoyed our stay. Since we visited during covid the housekeeping staff was helpful and friendly about exchanging out towels and giving us additional supplies like toilet paper while connecting in the hallway. We really appreciate that the toilet flushes well, but holy cow, keep a safe distance when flushing or you might lose something. Overall it was a good stay but we feel that something needs to be done to the parking entry area. Twice during our four days the entry (shared with Walmart and another retail space) was almost impassable with deep water that doesn't appear to drain properly. This isn't acceptable in our opinion and should be fixed as soon as possible. read more

my friends and i were travelling to Seaford for another of friends funeral. i reserved the place specifically because they advertised they had a pool. oh they have a pool but it's closed because they couldn't afford the $30K it cost to repair it, that's the price of business. they need to pull that amenity from their list. shady shady shady - not a friendly staff either, don't recommend read more

I travel quite a bit for work and usually stay at hotels like Hampton Inn. To be honest, I don't think I have ever had a bad experience at a Hampton Inn. They are always very clean and quiet. This location was exactly what I was expecting. The staff was friendly and informative. Check-in was super quick. They had hot coffee out ready to go for guests. The room was really clean, which I am always glad to see. The room had a chair with an ottoman, which make you feel like you're at home. I love hotels that have an actual desk you can work at. The bed was pretty comfortable and the thick blankets keep you nice and warm (in the winter). I will definitely stay here again. read more

Hampton Inn is based in Seaford Delaware. There are several things that I want to hightlight about this place: 1.) The Inn is near convenient stores + restaurants including Applebee's, Walgreens etc. We ended up eating at Texas Roadhouse which is across the way (will post a review at a later time. 2.) Enjoyable ambiance- nice quaint environment at their front entrance, lobby, etc. The lobby also has a fireplace and eating area. People are able to use their pool, exercise room, etc. 3.) My cousin and I shared a room and we both agreed that our beds were comfortable. I slept well in a fantastic bed in a clean and neat room which ai definitely appreciated. 4.) Hampton Inn staff were extremely accommodating. I was glad for the great customer service. One example of that was when my cousin accidentally left the hotel key in the room....they replaced it with ease. 5.) Ammenities which included complimentary breakfast with your stay. Selection of food items such as waffles (you make them yourself with their waffle machine), cereal, fruit, yogurt, bagels, pastries etc. Also cold and hot beverages which included ongoing access to coffee etc. I will return to the Hampton Inn if I ever need to stay at a place in the Seaford, Delaware area. read more

The hotel is nice and clean, and seems relatively new. I stayed there on Nov 6, 2020. While the hotel did not seem crowded, the walls are paper thin. Two women checked in around 11pm with a small child. It literally sound like they we in the same room, that's how loud and clear I could hear their lengthy conversation. I realize the COVID concern is high, but the "complementary" breakfast was horrendous, with an imitation egg omelet and biscuit and gravy being the only hot food items. I would never expect a gourmet breakfast but for an almost $170 nights stay, at least throw in a slice of bacon or a sausage patty. I like the Hampton Inn's very much. I normally stay at the one in Dover on my travels, but it was sold out for what ever reason. That one is an older building, but much quieter for guests. I'm afraid the Seaford Hampton Inn didn't win over my future stays in the area. read more

We always have a good experience whenever we have stayed at a Hampton. The one in Seaford is no different. Clean and the breakfast is good.

This Hampton inn is nice for the area. The hotel is spotlessly clean, staff are friendly and accommodating. I am staying during all the covid nonsense so the gym and pool are closed ughh. Free breakfast is only served Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday. Not sure why the breakfast is like that not the other amenities as the state has allowed both to be operational. An older property but very clean. The staff is quite accommodating as well. I mentioned to the front desk the need for maintenance on the fitness center equipment. He said it had just been serviced earlier that week, but would look into it more. He also asked the District Manager, who was onsite, to comment on the recent servicing. The way they responded and listened was extremely professional and comforting. When I'm in the area I will definitely stay at this location again. read more

When we come down to Seaford from Boston to visit our family here, Hampton Inn is a welcoming, clean, very comfortable place to stay. Early morning the aroma of fresh brewed coffee wakes us and a delightful complimentary full buffet breakfast is ready in the lobby breakfast area! (Like coming home to Grandma!) We can conveniently walk across parking area to Walmart and other stores and good restaurants. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. This hotel is close to our family in Seaford and staying here makes our visits so restful and enjoyable! This hotel is our "Seaford home", with very comfortable beds, rooms, bathrooms, lobby, and even the outside green grass and flowering bushes and trees are lovely. read more

I stayed 2 nights here recently, September 18-19, 2017. The second morning I noticed some skin discomfort on my legs and by that evening bedbug bites started appearing all over. Internet research reveals the bites take a day or more to become visible and start itching. Voicemail left for manager has not been acknowledged. I have emailed Hilton corp as well. read more

The hotel was pretty nice and clean. The breakfast was very good but being a tourist trying to scope out the east coast, from what I saw of Seaford, there's nothing to write home about. The rundown Walmart next door was off putting. Finding a bottle of wine to take back to our room was a major challenge. Liquid Assets is the closest store with wine (Walmart didn't sell wine), and the parking lot entrance to Liquid Assets was strange and in no way obvious. If you're looking for a place to lay your head, grab some grub, and hit the road, this is your place! I can't say much about Seaford. read more

I spent 11 nights at this hotel while on business. I do stay at Hampton Inn quite a bit when I travel. Robin at the front desk was MORE than helpful on more than one occasion, awesome attitude and super helpful and friendly. The woman who worked the kitchen was also incredibly friendly. Free coffee 24/7 is also a plus. Free standard WIFI but the "better" wifi costs around $4-$5 per night. read more

I spent a month in this Magnificent hotel and have zero complaints. Robin is the definition of amazing people and I cannot say how amazing she is. I absolutely love that woman. This was probably the least restful night we ever spent at a hotel. The bed looked attractive and was comfortable. However, the room was warm, so we turned on the A/C. The temperature wildly fluctuated throughout the night, it would get too warm to the point we'd have to throw off the covers, then the A/C would cycle on, very loudly, and we'd then put the covers back on. This kept us awake for quite sometime, between the uncomfortable temperature changes and the noise level of the A/C unit. The toilets are extremely loud, to the point that we could hear them being flushed in the surrounding rooms. The wall art was kind of creepy. We had to wait a long time for the elevator door to close, and pushing the "close door" button did nothing. I would have told the person at the front desk of our disatisfaction when we checked out, but he didn't ask how our stay was. I never had any complaints at any other Hampton Inn that I've stayed at, but this is one location that I would not return to. read more
