This hotel is in desperate need of a competent handyman. 1. The bathroom door cut out was not screwed in. It just drops out to the floor. Someone shoved toilet paper inside to keep it from falling off and left it. 2. The toilet lid seat does not stay up. I did clorox wipe the seat lid before filming the video and after touching the seat. If they cut corners on basics like this...where else are they. I stay in hotels all of the time. This just irks me.

    Sunset on the hotel deck.

Great service from the whole staff and management. Great view of the valley. Reasonably priced and clean. Been staying here for tem plus years.

We enjoyed an overnight stay at this property recently. Parking is complimentary, ample and shared by the restaurant next door. As Diamond level Hilton Honors members, it was a bit disappointing to not only NOT receive an upgraded room upon arrival, but our level was not even recognized by staff until we it with hem shared at reception. It felt weird asking for things like bottled water without feeling like we were beggars. That said, the property seems to have undergone significant remodeling and it was lovely. The back patio overlooking Conyngham valley was splendid! The dining area was clean and well-appointed too. As i shared, we were placed in an (unchosen, un-required) ADA accessible room which was a new experience. The room was located just off the elevator, but fortunately it was not super busy or noisy during our stay. The room was very clean. The king bed was comfy and the temperature controls worked flawlessly. Breakfast was nothing fancy, but the women who worked it did their best to stock the food and beverage bar to ensure every patron, whether an early bird or a late riser, received the same amount choices. No one was left wanting. All in all, we would return to this property when visiting again.

This is my second visit to this hotel. We love it! Excellent staff. Scott is on point and goes above and beyond to make your stay incredible. The view is to die for. I've attached a few photos that show the view from the patio. It's a great place to have a drink or enjoy breakfast. Be sure to ask for the valley view room, and you'll have this gorgeous view from your room. For dog lovers, it's dog-friendly and there is ample space to walk your dog. Highly recommend.

Going on a family adventure to a new unknown place with my son, we had to pick a place to stay, he google and found this place. He picked it, he loved it. We got a Motorclub discount, no reservation needed, we showed up, customer service was great and friendly. Please be Aware, Do NOT pick a room on the first floor, because the people that come in and register late at night slam the doors as they are getting into their rooms or going upstairs, if I knew this, I would had picked the 4th floor. By 2:00 AM I was woken up by the slamming of a door, and you know I couldn't go back to sleep so I had to go on Yelp and social media to entertain myself in the middle of the night. There, I hope you make better choice in rooms to enjoy this place more. The views are lovely, sitting on top of a mountains, mountains all over to see. Next door, there is a lovely restaurant with delicious food and one of the most romantic views I had seen in a restaurant. A unique one. There is an outdoor pool which is closed due to the weather. The bed, it was the first time I experienced a hotel bed with such a lovely comfortable soft mattress !!!! it was soft white and my body fell deep into it, it felt like I was sleeping on a cloud, lovely experience. And if you know me by now, you know that sleep is at my top priority. I can go days without eating, but not without sleep. The smell of the clean white cottonish sheets were appeasing and calming to my brain, it relaxed me and help me to fall asleep in like a few moments.

Defiantly a nice place to stay in Hazleton. We stayed in a standard King room with a valley view. Room was a nice size, and very clean. Free Wifi worked well. They also have a nice breakfast with plenty of options. Check in was fast, and all the employees that we came in contact with were very nice. Outdoor pool was clean. FYI- the hotel is undergoing renovations right now, but we were not bothered by that.

One of the services that direly needs to be updated is their "business center", which is just an old Dell desktop with a printer. The computer was extremely slow to open programs, navigate the internet, and print documents. My room was OK, nothing special. The bed was clean and comfortable, but it was somewhat hard to sleep because the AC/heating unit sounded like someone snoring throughout the night. At least the hallways were fairly quiet to counteract that. The shower water pressure was nice, though it would've been better if the temperature could get hotter. It was only warm. That goes for the sink as well - it didn't produce hot water let alone warm. I could only wash my hands in cold water. Hazleton is a small town, so it makes sense that there would not be any five star hotels nearby. If you like free breakfast and parking this is the place to stay. It's also the closest Marriott to the town. A short-term stay wouldn't break the bank and the hotel is convenient and comfortable.

She greeted us with a warm smile and even handed us a gift bag at check-in, which such a nice touch. While the hotel is a bit older, the staff clearly takes pride in keeping everything well maintained. Our room was spacious, the A/C worked great, and the bathroom had great water pressure. We also took advantage of the indoor pool and dry sauna, both were spotless and in great condition. The lobby had a refreshing water cooler that stayed cool and fully stocked all day, along with well maintained coffee station, with regular, decaffeinated and hot water for tea. This was a comfortable and relaxing stay, and we'll definitely book again. Great hotel, great staff, and great experience.

PLEASE SEE PHOTOS. 1. Ceiling was peeling and falling. 2. Shower rod was falling, and curtain could not hold the water to the shower area. 3. The refrigerator had packing tape on the rubber gasket that had BLACK MOLD! 4. The dishwasher had rancid standing water. 5. The Toilet Seat was falling off. 6. The Door Latch to prevent entry was broken off. 7. The ice bucket (no liners provided) was dirty. 8. There were packets containing sugar and milk substitute that were opened and used. 9. The floors were not swept and had dirt along the edges. 10. The hotel photos showed TV in the bedroom, but there wasn't one. 11. The Living room couch and carpet had spill stains on them. 12. Musty odor in room. I went to management, but my complaints fell on deaf ears. I asked for a call back, but did not get one.

Walked into the building where our room was and it smelled bad. The rail up two flights of stairs was loose and caused me to almost slip when I grabbed it. Stairs felt weak and the door leading to the outside to get to the room was shattered. Once we got into the room, it overwhelmed me of cigarette smoke, that I almost threw up. Went back downstairs to complain about the room, as I booked a non smoking room, the woman said she didn't realize I booked a non smoking room. Maybe you should ask if you don't know. She then was about to put us into a new room and realized that it was a king room and we needed two queens. Finally got to the room and it was in need of a big overall. The toilet ran off and on all night, the fire alarm was torn from the ceiling, cracks in many walls, floor was sticky, black stains on towels, and there was a stain on the comforter that looked like blood. Other things as well, but you get the jyst. The only positives was the shower had good water pressure and was hot, but needs a good cleaning and reno. At check out the guy behind the front desk refused to give me a receipt saying he couldn't because I booked via hotels.com and because what the hotel charges and what hotel.com charge are different hence he couldn't provide s receipt. I book all hotel stays through them and never had an issue getting a receipt. DO NOT STAY HERE. WORSE HOTEL EVER

Driveway parking is fairly large and accessible. Walk through the front door, and step back in time. The proprietor, a lifetime resident and respected community member is more than happy to give you the fascinating history of the home and its surroundings. We were VERY interested! Angela is the exquisite cook, owner, operator and resident storyteller of Emily's and these parts of NE PA. We fell in love with her! Her daily made-to-order breakfast menu was placed out each afternoon. You choose when you want to eat. If you arrived in the dining room before the serving time, Angela had delicious, fresh, hot coffee awaiting. I basked in those moments. There's also a smaller dining space in a back room stocked with teas, coffees and soft beverages as well as a bit of candy which I enjoyed throughout the day while reading the historic literature and relaxing. For those with mobility issues, please note: Bedrooms and bathrooms are located on the upper level. There is no elevator. It's an historic property. The "Catherine" was our stately and lovely room. The king bed and bedding were quite comfortable. The bathroom was off the hallway. All fixtures worked remarkably well, and water temp / pressure was great. The neighborhood was quiet. The backyard gardens and sitting areas were serene. We unearthed a gem in finding Angela and Emily's BnB.
