Hotel I tend to stay at Hilton properties for the most part if they are available in the area so when I had to be out in Goshen, I booked the Hampton Inn. The staff here are very helpful and I got checked in with no issue - the place is undergoing a major renovation and the whole lobby and common area, pool and spa were torn apart. I was on the third floor and everything up there also smelled brand new so that was nice to see. Rooms were comfortable and clean - the bed was cozy and the hot water was hot. Wifi worked well, and about the only oddball thing was the direct TV system did not quite align with the TV remote controls- so not sure what happened there but it was a bit of work to get the TV to work and find a channel They offer free breakfast and as the main lobby and kitchen area were under construction, they set up shop in a small room off to the side. It got the job done. All in all a good stay and would use again. Plenty of parking around the place. read more

The hotel is located in a central area for Goshen and is close to where I needed to go. The hotel was clean and staff were friendly. I really enjoyed speaking to the lovely young lady at the front desk when I checked in late after my flight got delayed. There is a McDonald's across the street that was open in the middle of the night, so at least there is some food available nearby. In the morning, I had yummy hot breakfast downstairs and the area was well stocked and clean. I enjoyed my room and felt it was very clean, especially the bathroom, and had a nice stay while I was there. The only negative was the elevator wasn't working and I had to walk up the steps. But the steps are wide and short so it wasn't that bad, honestly. Plus since I was on the second floor, I didn't hear any noise of people over me either. If I was in the area again, I would likely go back. read more

We had such a wonderful customer service at this hotel after a very confusing day of travel. I am traveling with a group of 11 people and we accidentally booked the wrong Hampton Inn, Tino was such a big help to us. It was wonderful he helped cancel the reservation. Helped me make a new reservation at The Right hotel, and was very kind. Then, as we were leaving, I realized that I had left my charging cord up in the room so he let us back in to get the charging cord we got to the other Hampton and we were missing a headband and called and he went up and checked the room couldn't find it but that's OK. We think we left it somewhere else other than the hotel. Honestly, the customer service at this Hampton Inn was so much better than the other Hampton and I am sorry to say if you were in Goshen or in the nearby area I would definitely stay at this hotel. Beautiful place to stay! The staff here is amazing, friendly and helpful from the time we checked in. Our room was spacious and clean and the bed was comfortable with fresh linens. The shower was large with hot water and great pleasure and pleanty of fresh towels. Great night's sleep I will definitely be back next time I am in Goshen! read more

I came in on a Thursday afternoon. The check-in crew was very nice and helped me quickly. I had a room on the first floor. The room, a mini suite was clean and comfortable. The bed was also comfortable, and did not suffer from any issues such as sagging or worn areas. It was supportive and I slept well. The desk area was handy as I got some work done. The mini fridge worked it kept my drinks cool. The TV was large, but the channels were limited. The morning breakfast was the usual fair, marginal at best. read more

I can't really complain about this hotel. We only stayed one night for a wedding nearby. The hotel itself is pretty small and a little outdated, but everything was clean and comfortable. Some people in our group mentioned the air conditioner being loud, but I don't mind a little white noise. The double queen room we were in had a mini fridge and a microwave, which was a nice amenity. The hotel has a hot tub and a pool, as well as free breakfast in the morning, and free wifi. There are stores and restaurants very close by. At the front desk they have a list of restaurants that deliver to the hotel, as well as a list of restaurants nearby for those who don't use Yelp, I guess :) The lady who checked us in was very polite and friendly. read more

The beds were comfy and actually had good a good weighted duvet, breakfast variety was amazing, was clean and the front desk was helpful.

If i could give a negative star I would The fire alarm went off four times in The three nights I stayed and the last time was 4am and they couldn't get it to turn off even though they knew there was a problem night shift had no idea what to do!!!! This was a quick overnight stop on our road trip. We booked the room through hotels.com and everything was exactly as they said it would be. We got there for check in a little after 10:00 PM and there was no one at the check in counter. We had to wait a couple of minutes but it also seems as if that person was the only person who was working at the time so they probably had other things to do. The check in process was very easy and we were up in our room in no time. The room was nice and had a good amount of space. It had 2 queen beds and they were very conformable. I slept very well that night. The bathroom was also very nice. the only problem is that sink is VERY high and juts out right at the sink spot. Therefore, when you are only 5'2 it is nearly impossible to wash your face in that sink without being on your tippy toes and making a mess of water all over the place. Breakfast in the morning was nice. It had a good set up and had everything you would need. There was a waffle maker with all sorts of stir ins and toppings, bagels, muffins, danishes, toast, fruit, yogurt, bacon, sausage, eggs, and french toast sticks. There is really no reason to leave their breakfast hungry. Check out was smooth and before no time we were back on the road to our next stop. Excellent stay at the Hampton Inn in Goshen. The staff was helpful..the room was refreshed and cleaned to standard. The breakfast was ok..the bacon was that paper thin stuff...the fresh fruit and coffee were my saving grace. The gym had 1x treadmill and 1x elliptical trainer. The were dumbells to use as well. The pool was closed, however, the HOT tub was open. I don't know what the temperature of this furnace with water was but if you were sore from crossfit and get in there you'll get some relief if you can manage 5 minutes without passing out LOL! read more

As a Hilton Diamond Member (I know, you're happy for me), I know a thing or two about Hampton Inns. Quite frankly, I love Hampton Inns. In my opinion, they are the perfect hotel. Reasonably priced (~$100/night), INCREDIBLE beds, rooms are always clean, free breakfast....the list could go on forever. THIS Hampton, however, stands just a notch above the rest, and, being in Goshen, IN (aka middle of nowhere), I was pleasantly surprised. Here's why: --BEST fitness center I've seen--they had free weights, weighted balls, really nice cardio equipment. They even headphones attached to the cardio equipment with a bag of new foam pieces for each user--very nice touch! --TONS of freshly made cookies! I get super annoyed when Hampton's don't have cookies...because it always seems to happen when I really, really want one. This one, however, had the motherload--3 varieties, warm....chocolately...chewy....OK I need to stop before I run downstairs.... --HDTV!!!! I've noticed Hampton's are slowly starting to pick up HD feeds to their TVs--this one, my friends, got it done! If you ever find yourself in Goshen, and need to stay the night, book a room here--just be sure to keep your eyes peeled for the horse carriage's on the road on your way in... read more

This Hampton is by far the best choice for a hotel in Goshen but I don't really think it deserves its average of 5 stars. Here's the lowdown: Pros: Clean rooms that look like they have been updated in the last few years, fridge in the room, close to downtown, close to restaurants, reserved Diamond member parking spots (4 of them, but that's better than none!) Cons: Good luck finding the entrance to this place in the dark with 10 foot high snow mounds blocking your view (hint: it's at the end of the driveway of the diner whose name escapes me a week later), no coin laundry, only saw breakfast to go bags on one morning (they either run out and don't refill or just don't have them, which is not cool.) So you are definitely getting your money's worth here but I wouldn't go all 5 star on this place for just that. read more

Hampton Inn in Goshen is situated behind the former Courtyard by Marriott hotel - a very unusual location that put's it between a Dollar General store a factory and behind the now Quality Inn. C+ location The hotel is new, and has everything you'd expect from a Hampton. The staff was friendly - however, hanging out in the lobby watching TV. I guess you get bored when working on a Saturday night. The breakfast setup is great, the beds are comfy and overall I'd recommend this hotel. read more

To be honest, I did not have high hopes for this hotel being in Goshen, IN but boy did they surprise me! I booked this hotel to attend a wedding of a friend of mine and to be quite honest wished that we stayed more than one night. The hotel is modern, clean, and has all the amenities that you could ask for in this price range (approx. $100/night). One of the best things about this hotel that my fiancee and I were raving about was the beds. I sh*t you not. This Hampton Inn has one of the most comfortable beds that I have ever slept in. Would think about replacing my bed with a Hampton bed if they weren't so dang expensive. I might indulge myself and get a few pillows. If I were to have to stay in Goshen again would definitely stay here and would recommend it to anybody passing through. read more

This is one of the best Hampton Inns that my wife and I have stayed in. We are Hilton Honors card holders and stay primarily at Hampton Inns when we travel. This Inn opened in August 2011. It is clean and neat. Being a Hilton Honors card holder, we were upgraded to a suite. It was roomy and well designed. The breakfast area was clean and well maintained. The best of all is that this Hampton Inn cost us less for a night's stay than the Hampton Inns that were within 30 miles (including South Bend, IN, home of Notre Dame, which was charging much more per night's stay.) read more

Considering its location this hotel had all I needed for my HS reunion weekend. The hot tub was hot and the pool was nice. Newly built it was very nice to visit. I needed extra towels and they were right there. Extra pillow, knock knock, This hotel is one of the best in Goshen! read more

Hilton Honors Gold Member...The last time I "tried" to stay here they gave away my room so I had to stay at a Quality Inn next door. At least the staff next door was somewhat friendly and helpful even though the place didn't even have an elevator. I would have rated the Hampton one star but the room was comp'd. On my current visit, the sink stopper is stuck and won't drain. I called the front desk to report it, left and returned after 3 hours to standing water. Front desk said, "I saw the note. They'll probably fix it tomorrow"...presumably after I check out! At least they "let" me switch rooms. After one uneventful experience here and two poor ones, I will not be returning. read more

Single Female travelers BEWARE. I was out to dinner with a customer and other vendors when we started talking about the room noise at the hotel. It was normal stuff, nothing of concern, when one man said, "I know you are right above me in room 30#." Wait?!...what?! How did he know that? He said they were not sure if I was coming down for dinner so the front desk gave the my room number, they couldn't remember my last name, but the hotel had no issue looking it up under my first. I was not late for dinner, but that is not the issue, the hotel should have NEVER given it to them. They are perfectly nice, but am not ok with the hotel sharing that information, under any circumstance! I called and complained. They offered to move me rooms, but missed the point entirely! They did not see my safety concern. I would have never known it was even given out. How easy for a predator to get the information. Frightening!!!! read more
