COCKROACHES! This place was so gross. We stayed here for 4 days, and in that time, I killed 6 cockroaches in our hotel room. My brother in law went down to get fresh towels, and there was a cockroach in the towels they provided. My parents also found cockroaches in their room as well. It's safe to say this place has an infestation. That's not all- the pool was closed due to high levels of chlorine, the free breakfast was stale bagels that had been sitting out for days, the TV only worked for a handful of channels and the help desk was almost always unstaffed (I get it- I wouldn't want to spend my days helping upset guests either!) This place was disgusting, dirty and unsanitary- and should be looked into by the health department. Save yourself a ton of stress and do not stay here! read more

Filthy outside and in. Roaches are the evidence. Left the property after spending less than one hour there. I called the staff to the room before I left, showing them the large, live roach and noted the rest of the issues. They refused my request for a refund and also refused to check me out. Fortunately my credit card company protects me from issues like this and with all my documentation, reversed the charges. read more

AVOID!! This hotel is old, worn down furniture, badly patched up repairs, broken bathroom tiles with grout missing, scratched up counter, ripped window curtains, ripped lamp shade. I went across the street to Walmart for cleaning supplies because the toilet was stained. Two pillow cases were stained, one face towel was stained as well. I even saw the guy who checked me in walking around with his son... both barefoot!!! read more

This was not a choice experience....so let's start with the room. There were bare wires hanging from ceiling, the toilet paper dispenser was broken and cut my leg open on day 2. They don't bring more shampoo without tequest... or soap. Only one bar of soap is left so you can shower with it or wash hands....your choice. Ice machine on the 3rd floor is out. Very unpleasant wake up on day 2 with cleaning staff beating on door at 8 am screaming "housekeeping". We said "come on in" they said no...not if we are in there. Well why knock? As we left we told them.they could clean our room. Came home to room not touched. Called down and they don't clean at night. Got towels. No immenities. The desk ...after we found someone...suggested we had our do not disturb sign out. Noooo...we did not have one to put out. Hubby swam...but we noticed same dirty towels there 3 days running. Breakfast was a treat. Bacon was RAW and eggs were...odd. Today got our bill and letter to let them make it right if we had an issue. Went down to do that and check out. Noone there. No bell to ring Oh and because I booked with travelocity ..I don't get my Choice rewards points. Wow. Oh and no room clean available Christmas eve or day. But no discount mentioned. Awful people. Could care less about you. They know that they will sell rooms so who cares right. My key kept resetting over and over. One night the AFTER 11 IDIOT told me that orange means the door will open. No, jerk, you reset my key 4 times and each time after going up and down the elevator it did not work. Night after night the key had to be reset. He stopped talking to me (I'm sure he didn't like my attitude, I was gruff but not nasty, I was exhausted) this last time he just walked away from me. DO NOT STAY HERE. The beds SUCK, the elevator is filthy, the lobby smelled like skunk this evening. The owners could care less about anyone staying her. Go somewhere else. AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL. Worst hotel I stayed at in quite awhile. If it was $50 I would understand but it was pricey and a dump. Here is my list: 1. Grit and dirt all over the floor... was not cleaned 2. Bulbs out over the sink. Could not see to shave. 3. Security latch torn off the door. We felt insecure. 4. Smell of smoke coming in the window from employees smoking outside. The air conditioner/heater seemed to draw it in. 5. No one at the receptionist desk in the morning. Other staff around but no one that knew how to check you out. No more Choice Hotels for me. They are inconsistent and apparently unregulated. read more

Our room was nice & clean and I had no complaints at all about the room. The lobby & breakfast area were clean. The employees were very polite. The breakfast was dreadful...frozen scrambled eggs that tasted like powdered eggs & sausage patties that were tough as leather. I'm a little surprised at the negative reviews--but perhaps the hotel took notice and changed things up a bit. Our stay was pleasant. Our check in was painless, and our room was neat and clean. The shower had plenty of hot water and pressure, everything worked correctly. The breakfast was what you'd expect from a budget hotel breakfast--cereal, some sausage, eggs, fruit. The breakfast area was neat and clean and we found the staff was exceptionally friendly. While I don't think anything pushes it into 5 star range, it was a pleasant stay and I honestly can't think of anything negative to say. read more

Rooms are badly in need of maintenance! Drain plug in bathtub taken out; paint pealing off wall; carpet badly stained; hole in lampshade; very noisy bathroom fan; broken hangers in closet,... House keeping could be better: previous tenants partly used soap & shampoo still in bathtub. Bagged a roach. Very helpful staff in breakfast area. We won't be staying at this place again!! read more

This isn't the worst hotel I've ever stayed in- but it's close! I stayed for two nights. The second night I heard some people checking into the room next door. My room was separated from theirs by an adjoining door. These dudes opened their side of the door and then started trying to pick the lock to get into my room! I proceed down to the front desk a few minutes later to tell the lady what happened and that I wanted to be moved to another room. She told me they didn't want that room because of the smell. Apart from that the room I was in is in desperate need of some updating. Signs of leakage in the ceiling and the usual sloppy caulking in the bathroom. Never again read more

We have had great experiences at Comfort Inns in the past and chose this hotel since they had hot breakfast included. We had a terrible experience. They clearly were short on staff. We got our room cleaned one day out of the three days we were to have service. This was because they got to our room at 4:00 pm as we were getting ready for our events we were in town for. The tv had a terrible picture. The bathroom lighting was dim. I had to go to the bedroom to see. The worse part was the so called hot breakfast. Waffle maker was out of order. Cereal was empty except for one kind which was stale. You had raisins you could put on top which were all hard and stuck together into one big ball. They had no yogurt and the milk had expired. The juice machine had a sign Apple juice was out. The fresh fruit was all brown. The trash receptacle was filthy. All of this and the attendant was sitting there having her breakfast that she had brought from home!! When I went to the front to get a manager they said his last day had been Friday. This was a Monday! I wrote to Choice Hotels and wanted to have some money refunded since we went out for breakfast and was offered to get points in their reward program! NOT! It wasn't Badda Book Badda Boom it was BADDA BOOK BADDA BOMB!!!! read more

Unfortunately I will never stay here because of their employee Mary. She was a rude woman on a power trip. She was unprofessional as she complained about people not showing up for their shifts and then refused to check anyone in despite the fact there were clean and ready rooms. She was rude to the sraff that was there trying to help. She has no business working at a job that requires working with other people and I feel sorry for the people who have to work with her. read more

My stay there was actually quite Pleasant until after I left and realized I had left some expensive clothes behind in my closet I called several times wondering whether my clothes were in lost and found only to be told no now I was only between my car and my hotel room which means the maids than a stinky little thieves I called corporate office and I am also getting my own personal attorney involved I cannot stress enough make sure you take all of your belongings with you and leave nothing behind I am seriously disappointed in this place and because of the theft i will not be returning read more
