Blankets were all done stained furniture was very old probably over 10 years old had stains all over the furniture towels have stains all over them pretty gross to be honest wouldn't recommend staying here for a couple dollars more you can stay in the Hamptons just don't understand why people don't update their furniture or sheets I was really grossed out, hoping I did not get bed seriously if I wouldn't have gotten into town so late, I would've not stayed here. I stayed there on 6/9/25. I was forced to check in early due to vehicle being at Ford dealer overnight for repair. I talked them into a reduced fee for the early check-in ($10 off $25). I first asked whether the room was available at that time. Yes, they said, but still charged an early check-in, for basically nothing. This hotel needs major updating, inside and outside. There is no elevator and I was on 2nd floor. (Supposedly first floor rooms were being painted.) Beds were hard and uncomfortable. The room appeared to be clean, however, and nicely made. (I did check for bed bugs.) The A/C worked well during the day, but not so well at night (a governor on it?). Towels were nice. Sheets were thin and mine had tiny holes. No carpet in the room which is a huge plus. They provided no hair dryer in the room. I didn't ask for one (The less dealings with them, the better imo. The woman was rude, or at least no customer/people skills.) The breakfast menu was posted at the check-in counter, which included boiled eggs. Breakfast hours 6-9 am. Next morning about 6:30 I went down expecting to get a boiled egg or two with my coffee (coffee was good). There were NO eggs. I went down again a little later, and still no eggs. This time I asked at the desk and they said "no eggs". No explanation. The rest of the breakfast offerings were all carbs which I won't eat, except for the sausage. This bad review has nothing to do with the hotel and everything with a very rude inconsiderate individual named PILAYA. NEVER EVER HAVE WE BEEN TREATED LIKE THIS. My partner and I booked a two night stay bc our ac broke. Monday night my partner asked for a late checkout for Tuesday. 12 pm. The guy at the desk said "no problem" At 10:30 the lady at the front desk named PILAYA started calling both our numbers and pounding on his door (I was no longer there) He explained he talked to someone last night she told him. "No you didn't, you have to leave NOW" This was at noon, the exact time he was told he can check out. He wanted to book another night but PILAYA REFUSED. REFUSED to let him book another night. This was our third time staying here this summer due to ac issues at home. We have never left a mess, been loud or anything, just needed a clean place to sleep in this heat wave. To be denied another night was crazy. PILAYA, I'll be calling management. read more

This place has so much potential. The rooms are clean. But the rest of the hotel looks like it is something out of a scary movie. I am not sure if they are renovating or going to renovate but the place is in shambles. When checking in I asked the owner if I can go out back and have a cigar. She said no problem. Go out have a smoke and can't get back I. The building had to call the front desk to be let back in. The pool and hot tub are not functioning. The pool water is a lovely shade of green. The back area has not been landscaped or manicured in awhile. We arrived after an 8+ hour drive, exhausted and ready for a shower and bed. However, the room was filthy, so we asked for a different room. The staff refused to give us a different room, or to clean the room, or to even give us cleaning supplies. I showed the front desk man the photos of the dirty tub, dirty floors, and dirty, broken closet door, and he rolled his eyes at me and told us to get out. He threatened to call the cops if we didn't leave. Because you won't give us a clean hotel room that was already fully paid for??? Please, let me talk to the cops about your ridiculousness. We had to call Expedia first to see if we could get a refund, and the hotel said that they would only refund 3 days because we "trashed" the room. We didn't trash it, we took down dirty towels and had used soap after the bathroom, and had turned down the covers before we discovered dirty sheets, pubic hairs, and an uncomfortable mattress. The poor treatment and disgusting room ruined our vacation. I have included photos of the dirty sheets, dirty tub, filthy floors, and a dirty handprint on the wall where someone clearly had sex over the mini fridge. Don't book with these assholes who won't fix problems with THEIR hotel, and treat people like shit. read more

Stayed here many times, years ago. It was a very clean nice hotel. unpleastly suprised what it has become. Everything was dirty. Pool was freezing. Too grossed out to even eat the breakfast. My friend and I stayed here because we were going to the flea market in Shipshewana. The employees were all very friendly. The hotel was clean and the rooms were spacious. The breakfast was decent with waffles, biscuits and gravy, cold cereal, and yogurt. The pool and hot tub looked well taken care of. Unfortunately, that's all the positive things I can say. When you first walk into the hotel, the lobby and all guest areas (including hallways and where you eat) are extremely humid and uncomfortable. The beds are so thin that you feel like you're laying right on the springs. They're also so noisy that every time I rolled over (which was a lot as I was so uncomfortable), I was afraid I was going to wake my friend up. The shower was not great either. The shower head is fixed, so you can't change the angle (which was hitting the very back of the shower). The price was decent, but I would spend more for a nicer hotel. read more

Do not recommend. Our room (and now my hair) smells like dirt and must and smoke. My friend has bites that look like bedbugs. The mirror was dirty when we came. Housekeeping was fine, checkin was fine, etc. The place just felt gross though. read more

Stayed for a week. It was for work, so I'm not sure on price. Housekeeping was good, rooms were cleaned each day. The bathrooms need updating, but they work fine, even if some of the plumbing was held together with electrical tape. The lobby and pool were great. The staff was also great. My only complaint is that the beds were more firm than I would have liked. Took three days before I was used to them, but that's more of a personal problem then the fault of the inn. read more

Our team stay here for Girls High School Rugby Nationals that was held at Moose Rugby Field. This hotel exceed every expectation. Amazing staff from the front desk welcome us SO NICE to the breakfast crew AMAZING breakfast homemade BOMB!! Rooms were clean and bathroom. Pool was great for our girls hot tub and pool to recover from a long day of rugby. I would definitely recommend for family or team. DO NOT STAY HERE! YOU WILL REGRET IT. This hotel's staff are rude, and unworthy of being in the hotel industry. They actually gave our room key to other guests who walked into our room while my husband and I were in bed. Their excuse . . no one updated the computer ( it was written on the paper that we were staying and still in that room when they looked it up). And rather than admit their mistake they blamed others and told me to wait for their manager to come in. They also charged credit card for no show same night we were already there ( i didn't catch that til i got home to see statement). Rooms had bad odor, breakfast was sub par and area was dirty. It is worth the extra mile or so to stay at Country Inn and Suites for same money. We work for hotels and you couldn't pay me to stay at this one again. read more

Stayed here last night. This is where I usually stay when I am in town because they have a discounted rate for RV Transporters and I am a choice rewards member as well. It was a spur of the moment thing that I was going to stay here last night so I drove to the facility and went to the front desk and asked for a room. The lady said they had one room left so I took it. When I got to my room it was about 100 degrees in there. The heat was stuck on full blast and there was no way of adjusting it. I had to unplug the machine from the wall outlet to shut it off. Luckily my window opened so I left it open all night. It was 30 degrees and took all night long to cool off. No sleep for me. I didn't say anything last night because it was late and I knew they didn't have any more rooms. I notified the front desk of the problem this morning so they would know about it. I decided to go eat the continental breakfast like I always do. They were out of stock on almost everything. All they had was waffles, cereal, and Apple juice. If this is the best efforts they are going to give then I will probably just start driving 30 minutes to Elkhart to stay in the Red Roof Inn for about 30 bucks a night cheaper. I just can't believe I was charged full price just like I usually do when everything works. I'm very dissapointed. read more

Friendly staff was the best part of staying here. Room had an odor of stale cigarettes, even though it states a $250 fine for smoking in the room. I thought this would be good considering the reviews it has received but I was sadly mistaken. Check in was smooth and nice. Open the door to our room to a musty smell. Room was sufficient enough to use for the time we are here. Then came time to go to bed. The mattress is lumpy and very loud when you move. The air conditioning was not working, even set as low as it can go. Then comes morning. The shower head needs to be cleaned water comes out of maybe half the holes. And it only sprays the far wall of the tub. Can't reposition it to be easier to clean yourself. Finish showering. Deciding I'd let fresh towels come in as the towels are at least 30 years old and not absorbent. Come back to the room 8 hours later to find nothing cleaned. Oh a sign under the TV against the wall indicates you must stay more then 3 nights to get room cleaning. Put this a sign in the bathroom where linens are so we know. read more

i was hesitant to book here because for my stay in the area, this was one of the only hotels left that didn't look like a dump......i was wrong! it couldn't have been any nicer. the hotel staff was very friendly and they seemed to care when i told them my room issues. when you go to the office and check in, it looks like the place is in some ski resort somewhere. it looks very nice. there's an indoor and outdoor pool, a hot tub, and a huge garden that's in the middle of the hotel with a walking path. the hotel is close to everything. its only about 20 minutes from the turnpike. they were deep in the middle of renovations and it is paying off. tons of supplies all over which shows they actually cared. the only thing i can fault them for is the my room wasn't 100% "done". there were a couple of tiles missing from the outer shower, but nothing major. the shower head wasn't on all the way and the water pressure was a bit low. and they didn't clean out the air conditioner after they remodeled because when you turned it on, you smelled drywall..... still worthy of 4 stars because it's better than my last stay in town. the hotel grounds were quiet and very safe but the room doors need to be soundproofed a bit more, you can hear someone's door closing from the end of the hall. the pictures here don't show the new additions to the rooms, the bathrooms look insanely expensive. read more
