Very good customer service at the front desk. Friendly staff, they really seem to love their jobs and it shows in their quality of customer care. I was in town for a conference and decided to stay here since they had a group discount with the event. The facility was clean and all the people were very nice! They are doing a lot of perks to help drive business like free dinner, breakfast, to go bags, and more. However, I was stressed out with a late flight that there wouldn't be someone to check me in. The perks only last during the week. I think that you should provide it everyday or gone. Just be consistent. I would recommend a stay at this establishment. read more

We were told the hotel was "out of do not disturb signs," so we didn't have one. On the day of checkout, we were aggressively disturbed THREE TIMES by cleaning staff. When we were ready to leave, they had blocked the hallway with cleaning carts and garbage cans. They cleared the hall halfway to allow us to push the luggage cart to the elevator. We were exiting an accessible room. What if one of us had been in a wheelchair? I have never encountered this kind of rudeness and disrespect at a hotel in my life. The front desk staff pretended to care, but it was part of a pretend-nice attitude that we also received when checking in. The cleanliness of our hotel room was not what it should have been, and there were small problems, such as a hole in the blind, scuffs on the walls, a robe hook about to fall off the bathroom door, a toilet paper holder that didn't work. I needed a place for me and my mother to stay for a couple of days while in town. I called every place only one place had a walk in shower for someone that was handycap and for an elderly person and a room that had two queen beds and that was motel 6. I am very disappointed in this town for making it stay unfriendly to the handycap and to the elderly. shame on you all. handycap and old people can not step over a tub. get a clue. read more

March 2017 - Originally Days Inn Motel My Son recommended this hotel as it had recently been remodeled. Parking lot is small, but didn't seem to be a problem during the time I was there (3.17 - 3.19). The lobby was clean, front desk personnel friendly & professional. Asked if I wanted to join Wyndham Rewards and I said yes, as I'm hoping to see a lot of Wyoming & other states during the warmer months. Turned out I was already a member, so points earned were simply added to the account. I was given the card key for room 201. Top of the stairs, through the door & first door to the right. Walked in & was immediately floored by the size of the bed that held center stage of the room. WOW!! Checked out the mattress & it turned out to be SO firm you could have bounced a quarter on it & it would have given you back $.50 in change. LOL... But when it came to sleeping? No problems whatsoever. It was pure comfort & all those pillows only added to the comfort level because they were soft as down & could be tucked wherever you needed them. The sitting area was large. It had a table w chair & phone (which didn't work, but since I didn't need it, no harm, no foul). A small counter with Coffee maker, mini fridge & microwave underneath, along with 2 drawers for storing clothing. There was also a sitting chair with a small round table next to it. Purrfect for curling up for some light reading with a glass of wine. The part I liked best was a door that lead out to the small patio. If it had been warmer & less windy, it would have been a great place to just sit out & watch the world of Riverton pass by in front of your room, as the view was of Main Street. The bathroom was tiny, but beautifully tied together with a marble counter top for the sink, hair blower on the right wall & more towels than one person would need on the left. There was also a box of Kleenex in the wall & little bottles of lotion, shampoo & conditioner, as well as a couple of small bars of soap. Although I didn't use the shower, it did look like it would be comfortable for one person &, once again, more than enough towels to take care of business when you stepped out dripping wet. :o) They do serve a Continental Breakfast each morning from 6 - 9. I did not partake, but the smells wafting up into the bedroom certainly made me think twice about eating that early in the morning. Perhaps next time I shall have to do so & then I can honestly rate what they serve. I believe I've found my 'home away from home' anytime I visit Riverton. And... that should be fairly often as my Son, Grandsons & Great Granddaughter live there. **Highly Recommend read more

I have stayed in a lot of Hamptons in the past. The Riverton property is in nice shape, however their customer service was lacking during our stay. We arrived at 4:30 pm and were told that our room was not yet ready. We were even told it might take up to a hour! The breakfast buffet was totally subpar. I had to hunt myself through cabinets to find coffee cups. The pastry/toast drawer was completely empty. Lastly, the maid knocked on our door around 8:30 am to see if we had checked out yet. Just very disorganized and lacking. Disappointing, will not stay again. Staying at another Hampton tonight and it is a night-and-day difference in customer service. read more

Price is too high for what you receive. The staff is kind and friendly. Hotel is not clean. Our room had many issues and I doubt they even changed the sheets. The breakfast area needs to be cleaned as guest finish up their breakfast. No hand sanitizer in the area, which is needed...with or without Covid. Everyone is handling the serving utensils. I will give credit to Hampton for making things right for us as our room was very unsatisfactory. Because of their efforts, we will try it again and hope things will be corrected. read more

Impressive hotel and services. Quick registration and friendly staff. Looks new. Comfortable bed. We got king suite for 5 of us. 1 king, 1 queen sofa and got roll away. Hot tub and pool nice. Room was large. Breakfast was well stocked but did not have eggs persay. They had something different each day that had eggs in it but not the expected scrabbled or rubber eggs like usual. There was a manager reception each night. Pillows left a lot to be desired. Bed was ok. Room was clean and well maintained. Probably nicest hotel for at least 50, of not 100 miles. Would stay here again on return visit. Most concern was all the smokers, including hotel staff, crowding front door and area. Could not enter that way. These hotels need to get the smokers far from their entrance ways. Due to the choke factor of disgustion I had to drop the rating to three stars. read more

Super comfortable beds, very clean everywhere including the breakfast area. The breakfast attendant kept all the items super well stocked, asked guests if they needed help finding anything and continually cleaned. Nice variety of food on the breakfast bar was a treat. Front desk people were awesome too - they recommended a nice local eatery (The Trailhead) which we also enjoyed. No downside to this lovely hotel except I wish they had stronger coffee in the rooms and in the lobby. We would stay here again and again. read more

When we lived in the area, thus was our home for awhile. It was the unexpected became the expected. The staff took care of me and my little ones like A service. Pool, hot tub, work out room, grande breakfast, laundry, they made our room beautiful everyday and didn't have to. They smiled. They let me use the kitchen for my entry to the fair while waiting on our house. Later I knew a worker there that bought pizza for the oil rigger overstays football nights. Made this reservation for my daughter who was traveling through - asked hotel to bill credit card I used for reservation. Directions weren't followed and of course pre-authorization funds now have her card tied up and lower. Hotel offered to charge the card, but same issue with pre-auth funds in that they won't be released back on to her card - had they followed directions correctly, this would have received higher rating b/c their rooms according to my daughter were very nice. We were in town for a family funeral and the care and level of concern they gave our entire group was something i had never experienced by a hotel. The hotel is beautiful decorated, with an amazing breakfast buffet ...a large selection that has something for everyone, and warm cookies/milk on arrival. I have never slept so well away from home: we found their beds to be so comfortable and plenty of really nice pillows! Above and beyond, knowing that we were in town for a funeral, the staff left their condolences and a hand signed card from each of the employees in each of our rooms...we were so touched! We felt to cared for at a difficult time! Everything about this hotel is top-notch, luxury service at a mid-range hotel price. I would travel out of my way to stay in this hotel again! From the minute I reached out to Amee with the Hampton Inn and Suites Riverton to let her know we would have a big group coming from Washington, DC to Wyoming, she was the epitome of helpful and welcoming. Even when we had to change our numbers the week of the trip due to a traveler's family emergency, she and her team were gracious and accommodating. As soon as we arrived, the team was ready for us and got us all checked in within 5 minutes-- which was a huge help as we were in a hurry! To top everything off, when I got to my room after several long days of travel, a bottle of wine and a birthday card signed by the entire staff (it happened to be my birthday) was waiting for me. This is not a five star hotel but it might as well be in our opinion. Always super clean, friendly staff, convenient location and very accommodating. We travel through here several times a year and will never stay anywhere else in this darling town. Breakfast is free and so is the wifi. Third floor 300 or 303 are great rooms! read more

Who are these people who think this place rates 5 stars? Yes the staff is wonderful (5 stars for the staff) and that and the fast Wi-Fi is why you see 3 stars here. We stayed a week and could have stayed almost anywhere else for half the cost, including major chains. So with the money they are collecting, why don't they have better quality toilet paper (ouch! - caused hemorrhoids to bleed) or newer, softer towels? This is summer. Why can't we adjust the fan speed on the full-blast AC? Sleeping is a problem - you have to choose between just the full-blast fan and a sheet, or full-blast AC and the fluffy but too-warm duvet. Room maids are sweet but never changed the sheets, and one day didn't even make the bed. They don't vacuum either, but they do mop the bathroom and keep those ratty towels in good supply. Food could offer plenty of choices if they didn't keep running out. Definitely need more than one breakfast attendant to maintain supplies, and someone who knows how to order sufficient quantities. Cranky, yes - see sleep problem noted above. read more
