The decorative grasses he planted where we had shrubs are all doing well. Andy is easy to work with and will try to make your requests happen. His competence comes across in the results. Hired this company to do a simple rock wall and steps. As of now they are falling apart 3 years…read morelater at many locations. One step did not have enough support under it and my wife nearly broke her back stumbling on it, when it gave way. I am so totaling disappointed in this companies work. Rocks are falling off the wall sporadically now, even on light package deliveries from Amazon. The flagstone steps have risen and fallen all over the place, with every joint crack compromised already. I should have watched things closer. It looked fine on completion, but masonry work is all in the mix. It is all about how rocks are applied and how steps are supported by what's underneath them. Obviously, the mix lacked the right proportions of sand, Portland cement, water and a bit of mortar to form a good glue bond for the rocks. Another error was that the rock surface obviously was not clean. Nor were the rocks "water misted" when putting the rocks in place...it's so obvious now (but too late), how this tragedy of a job has happened. I trusted this work to be completed to at least a fair standard but not to this degree of a disheveled mess. I'll have to spend thousands to have it all repaired and it's only been three years since it was built new. The owner even had the stones to ask me for $500 more during the job, reasoning granite flagstone have gone up in price. The job was 1/2 done and if I disagreed, he probably would have walked with the place in a complete excavational bedlam. I agreed hoping at least, the job would be done right, with some sense of honor, being that I had just granted him cordially, his requote request. The crew were very nice and worked very hard surely, but the owner did not enforce nor oversee the proper methods to building a simple retaining wall and steps here. I've built walls 10 times as big 30 years ago and my work still holds up to this day and still looks completely intact. This company at least on this job, failed miserably. Don't be fooled by the initial look of the work when you hand him your check. There could be a deeper sorrow awaiting you, in a few years, when you have to pay all over again, to get it repaired.

It is absolutely beautiful now and also more healthy due to their expertise in shaping and pruning this tree, which my grandfather and I planted together when I was about 4 years old. The process we easy to communicate with him about what we wanted/envisioned for a retention wall in our back yard near our playground. We also increased the scope to include relaying our front walkway stones (they were uneven and loose capstones). His team delivered all of the materials and effectively worked through both projects within a few days of getting started. A couple of the things I wasn't crazy about were: they parked a tractor on my grass, even after I asked them not to, but it didn't leave any long-term ruts, which I worried about; I also didn't love that they took a one day break between day 1 and the day they finished our front walkway, fortunately, no accidents happened (in mind kind I thought my kids would go straight over to the work area and hurt themselves). One of the granite steps in my walkway cracked when the team was setting it into place and I wasn't super stoked when they told me because it was not new material then they would not pay for replacing it. However, after reaching out to Matt, they agreed to split the cost with me, which I thought was fair. I wish that the communication of my financial responsibility had been discussed prior but also understand how it got overlooked and appreciated their flexibility. I love how the walkway and the retention wall turned out & I would have no hesitation recommending them to others in need of similar services. 3 of my other neighbors have had stonework completed by them within the last year. Good company, good people and good work.

When you raise a concern they show up once and then disappear. They ripped up my whole yard and had an outside vendor hydroseed it. The job is not great but they have not checked on it once. They said they would fertilize - came once after I reminded them. No communication since. They showed up with a tractor to mow my lawn in a rainstorm and caused more damage! They said they would come to finish mulching in June - it's now almost august. They said they would trim the bushes on both sides of my house at the same time - again it's almost august. I just can't recommend these guys
