My name is Jeffrey M. I'm from Lynn Ma. Today, we had Done Right Landscaping come out for a transformation. But first, let me tell you how this new found and forever relationship started. I grew up in the town Done Right started out in. I've known his work since I was a younger person. Seeing it all around town and always amazed at his work. Fast forward 25years and I have my first home. My wife, kids and myself have been living in it for 7years now. It's now time to move on to something bigger. I knew this house needed an exterior jump start if we were going to sell. I called Done Right Landscaping and spoke with the owner, Mr. Bruce Aleo. I explained my situation and he immediately fit me in to his already busy schedule. He came over one night after my 3year old twins went to bed (I thought that was extremely kind of him that he realized how busy a day with twins can be and took time out of his night to come meet with my wife and I). We walked my property and spoke for over a solid hour. He went through his ideas VERY clearly and it made sense. He also gave me GREAT home owner tips on how to spruce up other areas in my home to make sure it shinned, for example, I had rusty wrought iron railings on my front steps, he told me to get a metal wire brush, some sand paper and a can of high glossy spray paint and give those railings a new face lift. It made my stairs look amazing!! Something I never even thought of. Now, one week later Bruce and his team showed up to my house a few mins ahead of scheduled (always amazing to have a contractor come to your house early, than late!). He arrived with multiple trucks and tons of equipment. He walked the property with his team, marked off all the new areas of design and walked me through the process that was about to happen. He and his team spent over 5 hours at my house. I've had other landscapers come and they were done in a couple of hours. I've NEVER seen a team work so in sync. 3 gentlemen hard raked my yard, another gentlemen worked in my kid's playground area cleaning that out, another gentleman trimmed and pruned my bushes. After about two hours of just that cleaning they then moved on to all the new edging and design. I can't even begin to explain how SHARP AND STRAIGHT their lines are they make. I was absolutely STUNNED on how sharp these edge lines are. His teams work is so precise. They truly take the time and do it right. After edging in the new designs for the front and backyard, his team cleaned the whole yard again with rakes and backpack blowers. Now, his team laid out around 6.5 yards of new mulch. Bruce recommended the black mulch to play off my white house and the green grass. We usually use red. We have been wrong this whole time. The black is so clean looking. His team then moved on to thatching my property. After thatching the front and backyard they then aerated it. After all that work, they then cleaned up the yard, again. They always made sure the yard was clean. Now, they laid out a starter fertilizer and dropped new seed (we have a dog who ruined the yard). After all that, what did they all do next, CLEAN. I was so amazed and stunned on how clean they always kept my property while working. His name DONE RIGHT is exactly what he and his team does, they DO IT RIGHT! His pricing was very fair for the amount of work they did. I am forever a customer of Done Right Landscaping. I think the one best thing about Mr. Aleo is he actually cares about your property as if it was his home. I never had a thought in my head that said, is he rushing me or acting like some people do and upselling me? Nope, everything made sense and his work proves it. I contacted Done Right Landscape & Construction after finding them on Angie's List. We were given a call back by Bruce, the owner of the company, with in the hour. He arrived at our home soon there after.. He is friendly, informative, knowledgable, in his assessment and follow through... He also put us at ease. Our yard was a real mess! We had a complete clean-up of the backyard, front of the house ,and driveway area. Some of the work included: De-weeding, lawn cutting and string trimming. Trimming and pruning hedges and pruning back lower dead tree limbs. Weed killer was sprayed in the driveway cracks and along the foundation. He even planted a Rosebush out in the front area of our home.. Which was a nice touch. , When we returned; we were amazed at how fantastic our yard looked, and in such a short time! The end result was terrific, and we are very pleased with the transformation. . Bruce and his Team are pleasant, professional, experienced, and very confident in their working ability. You can tell they all take pride in what they do. My goodness they work so very hard!!! They cleaned up the left over debris very well, and it's like no one was ever here when they were gone. Our needs were listened to and heard, and what was promised was delivered. (and then some!) Actually, delivered 3 days before promised! We are very happy with the job. Bruce was a great representative for the company. Other company's should "take note" on how to interact with their customers. He really was instrumental in making and keeping our business. He seems to have a non- judgemental no B. S. approach which I like and respected from another person... . Our previous landscapers didn't do much to maintain our yard and everything was so overgrown. I am so very pleased with their work and Bruce is working with us to plan a relatively low maintenance yard. Transformative may not be a big enough word for what Bruce and his crew at Done Right Landscaping did with our backyard. We 1st reached out to Bruce in the Spring of 2021 after seeing some of his work and reviews online. We have a fenced-in yard that is primarily an outdoor space for our young son and dog, but it had some draining issues, poor soil from a previous owner's pool above ground pool, and a mix of grass types. It was clear from the 1st visit with Bruce that he was passionate about his work and had a keen eye for the full design of the yard. He came back multiple times to answer our questions and work through quote options that fit our budget. He was able to expand on our vision and bring in some great details that we would have never considered on our own. We originally planned for and late Spring installation, but supply chain issues pushed us into the Fall. This ended up being better for the new lawn and plants. The Done Right crew worked for the better part of a full week; first removing the old lawn, prepping the beds, meticulously placing pavers, and bringing in truck loads of loam and mulch to properly grade the lawn for drainage. Bruce also helped with planning the water tower setup for the lawn and watering plan for the plant beds. The new lawn and plants were established before Winter and have all come back this Spring with little effort. He also included some solar lights throughout the beds for free and adjusted the gates on our fence which had been installed incorrectly by another vendor. I don't think we anticipated having a backyard as amazing as this. We are truly happy with our new space heading into 2022 summer season. I called Done Right on Friday in a bit of a panic about how to handle a broken wall and neighbors who were potentially building a fence right on top of it. Bruce returned my call immediately and said he would come by and take a look for me that afternoon. A few hours later he called back and said he needed to help get his crew off a job as it had started raining. (I mention this because it's all about communication right - so I didn't mind at ALL) Bruce said he would make time the next morning (on Saturday) and followed through with that given expectation. I had just spoke to the neighbors - and that worked out at least for now - but Bruce took a great amount of his time to answer my other questions and discuss projects I wanted to do next spring. I had spent an enormous amount of time trying to get the yard and leaves cleaned up for winter and had given up on the never-ending task of trying to pull out the bamboo that is slowly taking over the back yard. After talking with me for some time and hearing me mention this - Bruce said he had a crew near me and could have them take care of the Bamboo and also do a fall clean-up. I was feeling overwhelmed by it all and was thrilled. Within hours, a very efficient crew showed up and completed everything Bruce had promised and more! He also came back and walked around with me to be sure I was satisfied with the work. Can't go wrong with Done Right Landscaping. They did some clean up work for me in the spring and they were awesome to work with and did extremely thorough work. So I had no hesitation in having them back to do some major landscaping work on my walk way which was broken up flagstone and unsafe for walking. They expanded the width of the entrance and installed lovely pavers that curve around to the side of the house. They also removed my rotted out wooden fence and installed a very sturdy vinyl fence. Since we live on a hill they encountered a lot of ledge to get through while drilling for fence post installation, which increased their work load by at least 4 hours. Even with the additional time and work, there was no mention of extra charge. My lawn gets no sun and I needed a low maintenance alternative to grass, so he spruced up the entire yard by digging down and laying out thick mulch. He surrounded my dogwood tree with lovely white beach stones and even mulched the tree on the sidewalk in front of the house, both touches he added on his own. My place looks great. I can't praise them enough for the excellence of their work as well as their work ethic. Bruce expects the work done above standards, and goes the extra mile to do just that. I am so pleased with the outcome of the work they did, and with the experience of doing business with Done Right. As first time homeowners, we soon realized the landscaping conditions we were left with were too much for us to handle and decided it was time to hire someone to come in and do the job. We called Done Right for a quote and the owner, Bruce, came down that same day to provide us with an estimate. He was very thorough walking us through our property and it was evident from the start that he is extremely knowledgeable in what he does. We were confident that his expertise far exceeded others in the industry and hired Done Right to do cleanup and design on the landscaping in the front of our home. They came out the next day and did tree/stump removal, tree pruning, hedge trimming, edging, de-weeding of beds, and seeding. All I have to say is these guys are the real deal! My landscaping cleanup was a HUGE project. All the work was completed, as expected, and there were no hidden costs or surprises! Bruce was great to work with, and he was very patient explaining exactly what he would do to clean my property up. They went above and beyond with cutting down trees, stump grinding, removing any additional branches off of other trees that were dead and obstructing the view, and cleaning up the entire property from debris. They worked diligently and all day. By the end of a day and a half, I had fallen in love again with my property. Done Right has been cutting my parents lawn for several months and we are pleased with their fast and efficient team. we had an unconventional start to needing a landscaper. We almost lost my father, he was in the hospital for over a month and the lawn had not had a proper cut in several weeks with all that was going on. It was too long to cut with a mower and broke the mower, we wanted the lawn cut before my dad got home from the hospital and he was on his way. I can't begin to express how excellent our experience with Bruce and the Done Right team has been. We hired them to replace our chain link fence, build a wall and plant some trees in our backyard as the first step to creating our backyard oasis. I have been working with Bruce and his team for over a year now, after using other landscapers in the past. Last year, I asked Bruce to come by to provide a quote for a driveway project, and mentioned that I would be interested in remodeling my front porch as well. Instead of pushing me to start the driveway, he suggested I get the porch done first, so that the driveway wouldn't be ruined by the trucks and equipment necessary for the construction project. He even recommended the contractor we ended up using. Once the porch was done, Bruce's team installed a beautiful granite step and stone walkway. While he was at the house, I asked him about his expected turnaround time for a spring cleanup, and he said he could do it that day. We agreed on a price, and 6 hours later, our entire property was transformed. He weeded, excavated and mulched all of our beds, and installed durable landscape fabric to prevent weeds. My landscaping had simply gone wild!  Weeds had taken over and choked out many perennials.  The soil was depleted of nutrients.  I had removed a vegetable garden and needed to tie that space into the existing perennial beds.  I had a vision and kept trying to do everything myself.  It took a while to realize that I needed help.  I researched many local landscaping companies and chose Done Right Landscaping based on the excellent reviews of many others.  When I called, I was asked what kind of help I needed.  I suggested sending lots of elves with lots pixie dust. two days prior to an early November snowstorm I was panicking because I had two properties filled with leaves. I called THREE area landscapers in attempt to have the properties cleared before the predicted 4 inches of snow. each told me they could not do the job before the snow and most likely could not be out for over a week . my fourth attempt was with DONE RIGHT. the owner Bruce answered the phone immediately and was at my Wakefield home within an hour surveying the job and explaining the work. we then traveled to my Saugus property and he gave me a very fair price, discounted for the combined properties. the next day both homes were cleared of leaves, mowed , manicured and looked in picture perfect shape! not just leaves , but down to the very last landscaping detail. an amazing team of workers! . so much more than expected. ill be back next year. nice to work with a professional , great communication throughout! read more

I have hired Bruce and his company on three separate occasions and I have to say he and his company are top-notch! The absolute best in the business! I called Done Right in 2012 after buying a foreclosed home. My house need a lot of work, especially my front steps. words can't describe what my old steps looked like and what they look like now! Wish i had before and after pictures! My neighbors were amazed of the work Bruce did! since then i have called Bruce almost every year since .Bruce has made my driveway longer, put mulch around my steps and every year I call him for a spring and fall clean up. What amazes me about Done Right landscape they are such a big company and still every time they work at my house there is like 5 trucks at my house and it seems like the whole company is working at your house! I recently used the services of Bruce and the Done Right Landscaping crew and had a wonderful experience. I have a modest size property with a lot of trees that have dropped tons of leaves over the years. Even though I enjoy raking up leaves, I have not had the time, so I called around and got a few quotes. Bruce came over the same day (in the evening) and gave me a great price that beat a competitor's estimate by $100, and he offered to blow out my gutters and chop up a dead tree that had fallen on my lawn. After discussing the issue with my spouse, we gave Bruce the go ahead and his team came over the following day and did a fabulous job. My place hasn't been this clean in years!
