We ended up calling Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water. We didn't know who to call at first and was willing to service Surrey. We looked up online and found that this company had a lot of positive reviews on the internet. We called and were told that they would call us between 11am to 1 pm. The lady called back at 12:30 and told us the plumber would come today around 2pm to 3 pm. The plumber who is a lady came on the day of the call and showed up at 2:15pm (left at 2:45pm). She also called to let us know 30 mins beforehand when she was on her way. I am no plumber and we thought the leak was due to the loose bolts that holds the tank or something wrong with the bolts. The plumber was very experienced and knew right off the bat that it was the rubber gasket that was the issue and not the bolts. She changed the rubber gasket and the bolts right on the spot and the work was all done within 30 mins. We were not expecting Roto-Rooter to come on the same day. This was awesome. We were actually of thinking just not flushing the toilet for one whole entire day. Yes sounded gross but there was nothing we could do until it got fix. The plumber was friendly and did the job right. She took care in her work. We were left very happy. We were able to flush the toilet. Yeah! Thanks to Roto, we now have a working toilet. We really appreciated that it was a busy day and you made it work to come out to have it fixed.

To Rhonda, consider yourself lucky they didn't show up. If they had, you might have been caught in the same dishonest tricks. I request service to fix the fireplace pilot mode not stay on issue. This guy came and replaced two parts but failed to resolve the problem. It became clear that the original parts were still functional. Despite this, we were charged 500 more, with the replacement parts priced significantly above market value. We paid these charges in good faith. When I informed him that we needed time to consider whether to proceed with the purchase of another part (quoted at an additional $600), He agreed to put everything back. But he engaged in unethical behavior, including: - Intentionally cutting the wire connected to the high-temperature heat sensor before reassembling the unit. - Tampering with other wire connections, making it impossible for another technician to repair the issue. Fortunately, I had taken photos of the fireplace system before his arrival, which helped me verify and document his actions. I do not believe this was the first time he has employed such deceptive tactics; it's simply a matter of him not being caught until now. Intentionally damaging or sabotaging equipment to make repairs more difficult or costly, and then using that situation to demand a higher price, is unethical. It is a form of manipulation or fraud. It violates trust and professional standards.
