I went to the Brix Village Point auction at the Auction Solutions location at 78th and Military and…read moreI had an amazing time. You walk in and check in with the employees. They were super nice, accommodating, and answered all of my questions beforehand. It was a two-ring auction so basically, two auctions were going at the same time by two different auctioneers nearly right next to each other; so you had to really concentrate on the auctioneer that you wanted to pay attention to. The auctioneers were great and were super nice throughout the entire 6 hour auction. At the item pickup at the Brix location that following week, someone gave out all but one bottle in a lot of 9 bottles that I purchased to another person by mistake. It was for the better as the beer that the other person was supposed to get was of a better variety than the beer I would have gotten. Also, they couldn't find one of my six packs of booze for another lot so they ended up calling me a few weeks later and I had to run out to 78th and Military to grab it. Kind of inconvenient but it was nice to get out of the office. Figuring all of the booze in different lots, and all of the bidders, having only these two mishaps for me was pretty dang good. All in all, one of the funnest, best auctions I've been to. If I see another auction that I'm interested in and Auction Solutions is holding it, I'll definitely go.

WARNING: Aggressive Staff, Hidden Reserves, and Zero Accountability -- BEWARE…read more We recently had one of the most frustrating and disturbing experiences I've ever had with any business, let alone an auction house. Auction Solutions Inc. in Omaha left my wife and young child shaken and me completely stunned at the lack of professionalism, honesty, and basic human decency. We bid in good faith on a set of sockets and several other lots during one of their online auctions. No reserve was visible. Nothing indicated we weren't actually winning the items. After winning that first lot, we continued bidding--excited, having fun, and truly enjoying the process as a family. But when my wife and young son went to pick everything up, they were told the main item--the one that started it all--wasn't actually sold because of a hidden, behind-the-scenes reserve. It had "not met reserve," something that was never communicated in the interface. When my wife asked about it, a younger employee named Caleb was brought out--and that's when things went from bad to completely inappropriate. Caleb got aggressive. His tone, body language, and words were hostile and confrontational. He spoke down to my wife, postured like he was ready for a fight, and made my wife and child feel so uncomfortable they walked away. My wife was literally scared that the situation could escalate in front of our child. That is completely unacceptable. Over the phone, I tried to calmly resolve the issue. Caleb kept doubling down and actually said, "If your items sold for 10% of your reserve, what would YOU do?" I responded, "I'd honor the sale or make it right with the client." That clearly touched a nerve, because his response was unbelievably smug: "Well, you can get your own auction license for $49.99 and run your own auctions." I expected more from the owner. When I spoke to Shane, I was shocked to hear her defend Caleb's behavior. She even admitted their technology has had problems in the past but still demanded I show proof (which I have--a full screen recording). I told her I'd gladly provide it if she agreed that Caleb would apologize in person to my wife and son for how they were treated. Her response? "I can't promise that." Let that sink in: even with proof in hand, she would not commit to making her employee do the decent thing. That kind of leadership tells me everything I need to know. I write this review not just out of frustration, but because I genuinely hope it reaches someone in that company who still believes in doing the right thing. If you're reading this from Auction Solutions: you have a real opportunity to reflect on this situation and choose to do better. Treating families with disrespect and refusing to take accountability when your own system fails is a fast way to lose trust. That said, I believe people--and companies--can change. I will be giving them one more chance. We're participating in one more auction, and based on how they handle it, I will update this review. Here's hoping Auction Solutions decides to choose integrity over ego this time.

First of all, if I could leave a big fat zero I would - or worse…read more I was unfortunately stuck in a position where I couldn't find many other options, and desperately needed transportation to and from work. I had my 2021 Kia stolen and totaled due to an issue I should have been notified was under recall - but wasn't. It was my first major car purchase, and I unfortunately believed that "full coverage" insurance meant "full coverage." It didn't. They acted as if they were doing me a huge favor in selling me a vehicle, when what they really sold me was a $5000 hunk of junk that I can't even sell for scrap because less than a month into owning it, it broke down to the tune of $3000 at BARE minimum to fix. They currently have possession of the vehicle, but continue to give me the run around, refusing to actually call back when they say they will. They SAY they want to help in whatever way they can, but here I am still paying full coverage auto insurance and car payments on a vehicle that isn't remotely drivable, and which, according to the (independent) mechanic I took it to when it first broke down, isn't worth the $3000 in repairs it requires. I am now stuck unable to get back and forth to work, to health appointments, even to my aunt's memorial service. When I tried to express to the sales person Laura that my family really couldn't afford to be ripped off on this, and that we really needed something to just get back and forth to work and appointments, and that I'd already been screwed over by having my car stolen and totaled, and then been taken advantage of by a separate used car dealership, she didn't want to hear what I had to say. She tried to pass that off as not "needing" to know why I was in a bind for transportation, because I was already approved. What I believe, though, is she didn't want to hear how she was just another used car salesperson taking advantage of a customer. I'm not the kind of person who could sleep at night knowing that I'd done to someone else what was done to me by Quest. TL;DR: Take your business somewhere else.

The main lady at the front desk is slow and does not know how to manage the people who come in. We wait in line for a few minutes and she gets to us. All I have to do is look at 2 cars in the lot. It cost $20 to simply walk around in the snow and look at cars. Reluctantly paying the $20 we finally get our vests and are allowed into the lot, by this time it's past 4:30 and we assume we have until close to 5 as that's when it closes. We walk around for about 10 min and the main lady at the front desk comes out telling us we have to leave, at that time it's 4:45 exactly. I come back the next day, this time earlier at 4 and assume we have until 4:45 (which still doesn't make sense as the lot closes at 5) we wait in line for a few min and have 2 different cars to look at. The man in front of us is showing the same lady at the front desk as yesterday his confirmation for a pick up and she swears that the car has been sold last week and their is nothing she can do as he has to sit down and make a phone call. We get called to a lady in a cubicle behind the main desk and we just say we want to look at 2 cars in the lot. We reluctantly pay the $20 and I ask for the keys to the cars. 1 car is a Honda Accord and the other is a Ford F-150. She asks for the lot number so I give her both. She walks away for a few minutes and gives me a supposed Honda key and says the F150 can't be reached right now and they are going to grab it for us. She says to come back when we see it being moved and she will give us the key to the ford. Simple enough right? After getting everything in place we walk out into the lot at about 4:10 and start looking for the accord. We look until about 4:20 and can't find it anywhere and she said it was in lot B40. We do see the ford being moved though so we go in and ask for the key to the ford and she said she was surprised that they got to moving it today (duh if we asked for the key they better have moved it that day) she gives us the key and we look at the f150. We check it out for a few minutes then come back in the lobby at 4:30 as I realize the key she gave me to the Honda was actually a different key to a ford ( a totally different ford that we did not ask for) I ask for the Honda key because I still want to check it out and planned to purchase it the next auction date (we are back to talking to the main lady at the front) she says that it is 4:30 and the lots closed. Umm what it does not close until 5 and even then yesterday we looked at it until 4:45. I don't feel like arguing with her so we just leave. As we are leaving a man standing in line overheard what she said that the lot is closed at 4:30 and says he has been standing in line since before 4:30 and has a pick up. He said he hauled his butt over to make it before it closes. She obviously does not care about the customers and just says it's past 4:30 and the lots closed but he has obviously been their since before 4:30 and has got no help. All the while the women in the cubicles in the back have not been helping anybody. So we walk out frustrated in the lack of service.

He started the car opened all the doors in the hatch took photos. Let it run till he was done. I had an envelope with the complete history of all the maintenance done on the car from day one from when I bought it new in the car. He never looked at it. When it came to the appraisal, they depended on his Internet searches. They told me my car had been in an accident in 2019. No accident ever occurred. I had a cracked windshield from a rock replaced at a dealership. The only thing that came up on his search was dealership maintenance. So when I used a third-party oil change company, Grease Monkey that never came up. When I quit going to dealerships and used five star auto a dedicated Subaru private company for my maintenance and replacement of worn out parts, That didn't come up on his Internet searches either. So I give him one star for his thoroughness of his appraisal. Never once did he even speak to me. The person I sat down with talked about my loyalty about the brand that I was looking to sell and showed me other cars of that brand and their prices. Sort of a soft sell. I wasn't there to buy a new car. So she did not push it. I appreciated that. I cannot recommend car max.
