Upon first glance, this place seems like a simple little bakery, nothing too special. However, they do have something pretty cool cooking up in store! Have you tried a bagel bomb!? No? Well it's essentially bagel dough wrapped around awesome filing to make a little ball of goodness! My friend and I both purchased a pizza bagel bomb. The girl at the counter was happy to explain all the different varieties but we couldnt resist the cheese, sauce, and meat that was waiting inside this thing. She heat it up for a little bit and also prepared us some wonderful Angry Alpaca tea (if you haven't tried this stuff yet, do yourself a favour and get some. It's local tea and it tastes AMAZING!). I loved the flavour of the pizza bagel bomb. They put some nice spices on top and the fillings weren't your typical mozzarella and pepperoni. I believe capicola and provolone as well? It was the perfect little pick me up since we didnt want a big lunch. The bakery was consistently busy! There was always someone at the counter but the service is quick. I believe La Noisette supplies bagel bombs to a few spots in London. I'll be happy to recommend them to anyone! I want to try the Nutella one next!

Which I then promptly forget until the next time I am nearby. I have never not been impressed. The coffee, locally roasted is absoutley fantastic and only pales if you dare compare it to the freshly made baked goods: cookies, cupcakes, muffins, cakes pies ... the list goes on. They all look and taste amazing! They also have breakfast, sandwiches, soups and all kinds of entrées. While it is often overlooked from the outside it is cozy and wonderful once you enter. A lending library, board games and locally made products like coffee and honey await you inside. I'm actually leaving myself another mental note to return shortly - let's see if this one sticks.

The caraway bagel is my fave - second is pumpernickel. The staff are absolutely lovely and it is a pleasure to sit in such a clean, bright and sunny space on the days I have time to eat in. But I gotta say, I normally don't come here for groceries because the prices may be decent but the produce aren't always fresh. I normally visit to buy sushi and hot foods. There's an amazing food bar that serves pretty tasty Asian dishes. I think combos cost around $8.99 and they'll stuff as many varieties into one container for you - no limit on how many dishes you choose! Bonus: At the end of the day, the leftover hot foods are packaged and after 8pm, they sell for 50% off. You can get a big heap of orange/lemon/mango chicken for just $4! Other than hot foods, I also love their bakery section. There are some delicious breads and buns to try out - I personally like the one with the sausage stuck in the middle of the bun! Individual cake slices are also available, and so are macaroons. The shelves are always stocked with amazing Asian snacks, spices and ingredients. There are plenty of Western ingredients too. Depending on the day, the line-ups to get checked out could be long. Superking is also located in Westmount Mall, so you can continue your shopping journey and pop over to visit more stores like Urban Planet or Bulk Barn once you've picked up those weekly groceries!

But like most Asian stores, it needs better ventilation in the meat and sea food departments. The smell is over whelming just walking by. Best thing about this place is the hot food section if you're too lazy to cook. Like other stores in London, suffers from lack of cashiers. There were only 2 when I went and the lines were LONG. At a time when most people are getting off work and doing their shopping, this is not good for business
