The staff preaches" see something, say something", but none of the kids or adults want to say anything because the staff will interrogate them and make them do more paperwork. Some of the kids wait to record the fights happening. Then there is this whole thing with threats and safety in traffic (kids getting run over by buses) and they have had very unprofessional staff members, such as Teacher Taylor (unemployed now), who should have gotten fired in the first place for the first explicit content created on their social media, but they waited to discontinue their contract at the end of the year they would even play explicit music in the classroom. AND DON'T EVEN GET ME STARED ON THE POT. These kids are handing out vapes in locker rooms like preschoolers and candy on Valentine's Day?? Like... then there is a lot of PDA and sexual content spread around the school. There was a whole thing about a girl getting impregnated, and I think they kicked her out (that was a rumor I don't know for sure). In my 6th grade year, we had a girl bring adult beverages to school 2 times, and they already knew that it was her, and she did it again. Also, the dress code needs to be addressed. If the kid breaking the dress code is an athlete, or known for having mental issues, the kid does NOT get in trouble, and another issue is the AP's acting like they are doing everything right, but when they do something they blame it on the kids. For example, Ms. Scott was ALWAYS yelling at the kids for stupid stuff, like switching seats at school, like hello you want us to socialize, but you say we can't have phones (before the new law). Then you said we could socialize at lunch and then made sure we couldn't switch seats. Oh, and then, when they messed up on my map testing, they tried to lie to my parents and I were saying that I was cheating, which was a lie, and I was not going to put up with that, because I had an amazing conduct record, so I told them that I was not going to take the test unless they tell me what is actually going on, and they told me that they accidentally gave me an extra accombidaton that I didn't even know about or know how to use, and I would have been fine with that reasponce, but it's the fact that they treid to cover their own asses by lieing and when they finnaly told me the truth they took me to the office and sat me down and a room where Mr. Strang started to yell at me ... like... Hello?? What you want me to do is to apologize for Klein's mistake NO, but I get it everyone makes mistakes? Then there was another issue with kids cheating on their tests, like QSEs and shit I'm sorry if you are a parent and reading this right now. I know your child has to go to public school, but for your kids' safety, especially physically, just send them to Dorree or something, because this place needs to get shut down for P. S. If you're thinking about EDUCATION here, it is not all the teachers' fault. It is mostly the disruptions in the learning environment that other kids cause, but it LITERALLY SUCKS because it's SO HARD TO FOCUS. The average star score at an 8th grade level at this school is below the district and state average.

And was told that he was the problem ??!!! If this isn't bullying idk what in world is ! Then the principal has the audacity to try to intimidate me by saying that if she would've handled the situation she would have " properly " given discipline as seen fit to my child!? What in the hell is this educated fool doing in a school and thinking her authority intimidates me . Who gave you your degree ? You have given the upper hand to a bullying and the shame to an innocent young man and belittled him to think he was a problem . GREAT JOB SPILLANE ! You've really got your shit together . Parents Becareful , Voice for your children ! This world has come to shit . This school will try and cover up for each other . They don't let you talk . They talk over you and make it seem as if you questioning them is a crime . The staff wants to be condescending and rude over the phone like the hate their job . Be grateful ! Learn to understand people . If it was your child you'd be acting the same ! There's only one AP there that was actually educated enough and respectful enough and actually took the time to hear me out . I thank her very much ! We need more people like you . Thank you for apologizing to my son for what someone else in your administration team said to him . You show empathy and respect. For that I do thank you . Please keep up the good work . Our son transitioned to PDC from another school that was not as much of a fit for him. In the 3 years he has been with PDC he has truly blossomed and matured into a very capable and independent teenager. The school operates in a very hands on and interactive way. The children have many opportunities throughout the day to move, exercise and express themselves whether it's through yoga, martial arts, hikes, field trips or gymnastic classes. Education-wise, they have a wonderful staff that truly cares and supports not only the children but their families as well. PDC very much individualizes their curriculum for each child and makes adjustments based on the children's needs and interests. They also very much include attention to life skills such as cooking, cleaning, public speaking and social skills. PDC is a very empowering place for neuro-divergent children. Lastly, the school actively works to keep the tuition very reasonable as most schools of this nature charge you 2 to 3 times more than PDC. I highly recommend this little known diamond in the rough that was founded by two innovative and caring educators who created an affordable and out of the box school for neuro-divergent children. We love this place!
