I hear that students who have been using their phones during the phone ban are now at major risk due to 1. being unable to contact anyone in case of an emergency, 2. if said phone is taken away, they are now prone to getting lost or worse. 3. The Phone Ban across Texas is neither safe nor ethical. If they were to be in any form of danger or risk, an environmental, physical, or medical threat would not be taken care of, and the final reason: 4. Everyone, phone or not, is at risk, as kids who are stable with phones and could worsen the problem into something more deadly with the more mentally unstable students, with that said: -10 million Out Of 10, never go here with the phone ban

To call it a bad experience is to give Langham more praise than it deserves- awful teachers who encouraged bullying and "lost" projects, and a horrendously incompetent administration obsessed with punishment. Multiple times teachers would take the side of a bully, encourage peaceful resolution to come from the victim, then call home to defame the same victim they had encouraged to forgive. For the longest time, I couldn't understand this consistent policy of stabbing bullying victims in the back, until the simplicity of it all hit me. Langham Creek High School is a school for bullies and sadists, run by bullies and sadists. I had hoped that after I left with what little of my self-esteem I had, and after years of having to dig out- piece by piece- the embedded beliefs instilled in me about how worthless I was and the insanely idiotic studying methods we used, that at the very least, Langham Creek couldn't stoop any lower. As is par the course for everything in Langham Creek, I've seen reviews and heard reports that somehow, things have gotten worse. I thought I'd seen the nadir with teachers calling my parents and offering blatantly false accusations. I really hoped the lowest point would be the stories I heard while I was there, of teachers who threw projects away and claimed they never got them, who laughed when victims were bullied, who only stepped in when they retaliated. In comparison, I went to Windfern High School, a supposed "alternative" school to complete some english courses due to scheduling conflicts. I was amazed at how *fair* they were. There was no debating rules, but the sheer lack of outright malevolence in comparison was startling. There were a few good people at Langham, but their attempts to salvage anything of value were stymied by teachers and an administration hellbent on crushing down the very students they were supposed to prepare. Thanks for less than nothing, Langham. I sincerely hope the facility is upgraded to something that would improve the quality of life for potential students, like a vacant field or a landfill.

So if you live in the area from the time you have a newborn to the time they're going to high school they're more than likely going to be going to school with a lot of the same people throughout their education career which allows your children to have possible life long friends.
