Despite the fact that this district is the only one that does not have any junior high teams, you have to be a level 5 Tumbler/cheerleader to make it on the team. You need your full. Yes they say it is not all about the tumbling but seems like it. You need your standing back at minimum. If you go to another cy- fair school (any other) it is not like that - just transfer. Flying skills not needed here they do not use any for tryouts. You know, all this and they do not even perform anything for the school?? The dance team does half time... but the cheer team with its high requirements just claps their hands. Yep! No interview process here they did away with it, but the other Cy- fair high school have not. Check our Cy- woods or Cy- Ranch. These schools even have higher performance on tests and they are close by. You will be happier. Cy-fair is also the only district among the others around it that allows freshmen to become Varsity cheerleaders kicking out a senior in the process (because they can only make Varsity). --Just saying this should be looked at-I put this review here for the purpose of change.

In my many years of interacting with the staff at Arnold, I have found the teachers and community to be inviting and compassionate. They are hardworking and helpful. I love the mix of cultures and backgrounds of the students- there has been a lot of opportunity for my kids to learn about people who don't look like them. The extracurricular opportunities are plentiful. I'm glad for the time my family has had at this school, and sad that it is over.

These teachers work very hard to make sure the students get their grades when a student does what is expected and turn in their assignments when they are due. One cannot expect immediate satisfaction when assignments are turned in late. We must be patient and let these teachers do their jobs. We must support our teachers in order for our students to succeed. Let them do what they are trained to day and you will see the changes in your student if they do what's expected. Keep up the good work Rowe! You are doing an awesome job. I can see the progress my son has made. Now that he has matured and understands what is required to succeed, he strives to make honor roll every grading period. Thank you for the hard work that you do to help our kids be successful not only in school but in life.
