And was told that he was the problem ??!!! If this isn't bullying idk what in world is ! Then the principal has the audacity to try to intimidate me by saying that if she would've handled the situation she would have " properly " given discipline as seen fit to my child!? What in the hell is this educated fool doing in a school and thinking her authority intimidates me . Who gave you your degree ? You have given the upper hand to a bullying and the shame to an innocent young man and belittled him to think he was a problem . GREAT JOB SPILLANE ! You've really got your shit together . Parents Becareful , Voice for your children ! This world has come to shit . This school will try and cover up for each other . They don't let you talk . They talk over you and make it seem as if you questioning them is a crime . The staff wants to be condescending and rude over the phone like the hate their job . Be grateful ! Learn to understand people . If it was your child you'd be acting the same ! There's only one AP there that was actually educated enough and respectful enough and actually took the time to hear me out . I thank her very much ! We need more people like you . Thank you for apologizing to my son for what someone else in your administration team said to him . You show empathy and respect. For that I do thank you . Please keep up the good work . Sports- cheer - not enough opportunities! If you are a…read morecheerleader there are better places to go. Despite the fact that this district is the only one that does not have any junior high teams, you have to be a level 5 Tumbler/cheerleader to make it on the team. You need your full. Yes they say it is not all about the tumbling but seems like it. You need your standing back at minimum. If you go to another cy- fair school (any other) it is not like that - just transfer. Flying skills not needed here they do not use any for tryouts. You know, all this and they do not even perform anything for the school?? The dance team does half time... but the cheer team with its high requirements just claps their hands. Yep! No interview process here they did away with it, but the other Cy- fair high school have not. Check our Cy- woods or Cy- Ranch. These schools even have higher performance on tests and they are close by. You will be happier. Cy-fair is also the only district among the others around it that allows freshmen to become Varsity cheerleaders kicking out a senior in the process (because they can only make Varsity). --Just saying this should be looked at-I put this review here for the purpose of change.

Some fights and people are using illicit contraband in the restrooms. From what I heard, the athletics experience may vary depending on the sport. Library resources are plentiful, but they recently took the PC's away. School lunch is passable, to say the least. Fine arts and college readiness programs were decent, though! The U.S. Air Force JROTC program was engaging and had a plethora of activities. However, the animation curriculum and preparing for UIL was satisfactory at best. The teacher wasn't really knowledgeable about anything other than the Animation 1/Digital Media curriculum, so expect to do assignments and projects on your own if you plan to progress through Animation 2 and beyond. If participating in UIL film, be prepared to do everything YOURSELF, as some teachers do not have adequate knowledge to help you with UIL competitions here.
