We had takeout and ordered a Double Classic with Bacon, two Classics with no jalapeños, 2 chocolate shakes and 2 vanilla shakes, and extra fries instead of the fresh made potato chips. I understand now that I should've kept the chips when I picked up the order and saw them! Good-large sized burgers with the works in them. We didn't have jalapeños but the meat itself was a little too seasoned for us. Plus, the texture seemed like it had some kind of "filler"? It didn't taste or feel like 100% beef patty. The texture felt too soft and was a thin patty. For 4 people at $88 that was a lot to spend for a burger that wasn't up to the promise we've heard and read about in reviews. The service was great and we appreciated the friendly employer who greeted us. We parked across the street on Bloomfield Avenue in front of Whole Foods. If you couldn't get parking you could also park up at the Art Museum just a short walk up the block. All in all, glad we tried it. read more

I REALLY wanted to love this place. The concept is amazing, the execution is a different story. The woman at the counter was nice and she accommodated us. The Mexican burger idea is great but this was not it. We ordered the La Hawaiiana, La Mortal, and a side of fries. The sandwiches are huge, so you get a great portion. My son's La Mortal was supposed to come with bacon. It came with one little piece. I tried it and the hotdog was different, but good. The La Hawaiiana was good as well. It had pineapple, but it got lost as well. It reminded me over Burger King with their bun. The fries had NO salt. I asked for some and they asked for it when making another order, which leads me to believe they don't use salt that often. The vibe is cool. We played foosball while we waited. Maybe I went left ordering the classic burger. But the best part of my meal was the fries. The quality of the burger was a step above McDonald's in my opinion (and that says nothing because McDonald's is bad). It lacked flavor and seasoning. A lot of toppings that went well together but just taste like veggies on a bun without meat. Maybe a double patty is warranted here? I was also not asked how I wanted my burger cooked. Prices are good but small portion of fries to go with the burger. The fries were nice and crispy. Didn't need any ketchup. The bun was toasted nicely. The service here was awesome. Very attentive and friendly. The burger patty itself isn't a typical American style patty which isn't what I was expecting but was pleasantly surprised. It was flavorful and outside the norm. They serve with crisp shoestring fries. I was curious about their shakes so opted in for the maple walnut and it was tasty. A little different from a standard flavored shake (they have those too!). They're a steal at only $4! Food came out pretty quickly. This is our new burger spot. We enjoyed the spiciness of the burger, it's decently sized, and allows for easy mastication. It is easy to tell that they use organic ingredients. The staff is friendly and do care about providing excellent service. It was a beautiful day, so we enjoyed our delicious burger to sit outside. As we ate, we kept complimenting how good it tasted. Ordered what I thought was a regular burger turns out they mix the beef with chicken sausage. This information was no where on Grubhub where I ordered it. When I called and asked what the patty was made of the employee rudely said it's mixed with chicken sausage I don't know what to tell you.
