They had a welcoming vibe as soon as we entered and were greatly served by the staff during our whole visit. The entertainers were perfect with the show they put on; each of them had their charismatic charm to keep the audience engaged! The lighting didn't help my photo quality for the food, but we had the: Diva Nachos $12 Fresh chips covered in spicy taco meat, lettuce, tomatoes, jalapeños & queso. Served with salsa & sour cream Miss Mona's Chicken Ranch Sammie $13 Grilled chicken, mixed greens, tomato, bacon & shredded cheese with a choice of Ranch or Chipotle-Ranch Both were good on their own, noting spectacular but satisfied. **Brunch review** We had a reservation, so we were sat promptly, but inefficiently. There were only 2 of us sat at a 8 top, although there were nearby 4 tops we could have occupied. The beer battered fish came out fried with corn meal. The French toast was enjoyable. The home fries came out unseasoned. Bacon and French fries came out perfect, but they should always Had to ask for silverware and salt and pepper for the table. I think we stopped by in the middle of the restaurant into club transition, there was a lot of hustle and bustle. Even with all the business we had a dope server and the food was pretty good. I had been to Hamburger Mary's in Florida and was warmly greeted and felt like family. I asked my friends to celebrate my birthday at the Dallas location. Staff did not want to seat a group of 60 year old ladies. We had a reservation for 8:30 show. Several employees walked by us. One said he just needed to clean table, which we watched him do, but he never came back. Other people were seated and their drink orders were taken while we waited. As women living through the 20th century we know how it feels not to be wanted in a venue. We left. If you don't look like me you might have a better experience. read more

Visited here for the first time tonight. Food is 3 stars, ambiance/entertainment is 4 stars. Very fun place to check out with shows and all. Had my first drag experience and it was wonderful. They will help you break all the bills so you have plenty of 1s for tipping. I will say that the food was mid. My cheeseburger was $17 and wasnt good. The fries were under as well. There were a bunch of folks in our group and i heard that the chicken tenders were really good. The mozz sticks were great, excellent cheese pull, too! The mac n cheese balls were decent, but for apps, go for the mozz sticks. It seemed like the servers kept bringing us a bunch of food and drinks we didnt order so not sure what the confusion was there other than the noise level. Sounds like maybe they should do an electronic order system with vibrators so people can grab their food when ready. It was so loud in here, no wonder they were getting all sorts of stuff wrong. We were invited to a campaign event this past Sunday at Hamburger Mary's, so we went to support Lupe Valdez who is running for sheriff of Dallas. Part of this campaign included a drag show which is always entertaining to watch, so why not come by and enjoy some food while we're here? The ambiance is very reminiscent of a gay bar with lots of pink and a stage for drag queens ready to perform! For the food, I ordered some tater tots with queso, jalapeños, and shredded cheese. For $8, I was expecting not too many but was pleasantly surprised with the portion size when it came! The tots were delicious, and I love the queso they put on top! They come with taco meat, but I opted out. I also got a BBQ burger with a black bean patty and added Mary's sauce, which is like a spicy or chipotle mayo. The burger was amazing!!! The patty was one of the best I've ever had, and it was definitely enough food. The fries were not as good, so I will get tater tots next time I go. I didn't get pictures, but the drinks and drag show itself were both amazing! Service was amazing as we had a great and attentive waiter. Overall, I want to come back to Hamburger Mary's very soon and will ensure I do so! Their food alone is worth the price, but the drag shows are just an added bonus to their value! read more

Ever since Mary's changed ownership there have been massive improvements. The food is way better, the drinks don't seem weak, and the staff aren't a collection of prostitutes. The new owners are a local committed gay couple, who are working really hard to improve everything about the Mary's experience. The food was fine. As the name suggests, the menu is mostly burgers with some other pub type items (loaded tots, chicken sandwich, chicken tenders, etc.). Of course, people come for the show rather than the food. The show itself was also fine. The chair I was seated in had my back toward the restaurant, so that wasn't ideal. I wish they spent more time near the front and had people to help them pick up tips. The bar service was also very slow - not sure if they were understaffed. Recently came here for a drag brunch show on the weekend. I was a bit worried that the food wouldn't be that good, but I was impressed. I got the Big D Omelette and it was well cooked, had just the right amount of ingredients inside, and the portions were good for me. I also tried the Monte Cristo - my sister didn't like it bc it was too sweet, but I liked the flavor. I feel it's a good choice if you're between a sweeter vs. savory dish on the menu. I also got a raspberry bellini - I intended to get a glass and was charged for it correctly, but for some reason the waiter made fishbowls. I didn't finish for obvious reasons lol. I think the size would be great to share among a party of 3-4. Of course, the real main course here are the drag shows. The queens put on an amazing show! Very interactive with the attendees. They do give out $1 bills in exchange for larger amount bills in case you come short handed. Made a reservation on August 7th for the drag brunch for my friend's bachelorette party. Got confirmation and reminder emails the day before the reservation. Showed up on Saturday the 30th to find out there were closed down. No email or call letting us know we drove over 1.5 some of us 2+ hours for it in the pouring rain and had to find something else to do. Very poor management all around of the situation.
