Because she arrived late in the day, they asked her to leave the car overnight. The next morning they told her the battery was bad and quoted over $350 to replace it. She called Sam's Club in Bluffton--$140 with free installation. When she called the Auto Care Center back, they said she still owed $63 just for the battery test. Running late for work, she told me what happened, so I called the manager, Gary. When I questioned the $63 fee--especially when local auto parts stores test batteries for free--his response was, "I got to pay taxes." He repeated this instead of reconsidering the charge. Ladies, be aware before you take your car there.

They charge tax on their invoice then double tax you when they run cards for processing. Tax on a tax. Just paid them 2,000 for a catalytic converter and within one week my vehicle died out. They tried getting me to sign my title over to them without letting me know what was wrong with it and when I told them I wanted to get it towed to a dealership for a second opinion, they jammed my doors so that I couldn't get access into my vehicle, thereby loosing thousands in tools, materials and equipment. Auto Care Center is an absolute joke. They love giving one price before the work and adding hundreds onto the bill when you go to pay. Go anywhere but here!!!

I have been here for a few oil changes and when my engine light came on - the Nissan place gave this long long list of things that need to be fixed. The cost was over $2,000 when they were done. So I took it to these guys - they did a diagnostic and most of the stuff Nissan said needs to be fixed did not - and they engine light was an emissions thing- they fixed the hole for $120 dollars where as Nissan said I'd need a totally replacement for $1000 plus all this other stuff -- if you want honest, reliable, knowledgeable-come here.

They didn't need to do this but they even gave me a ride back to the house I'm staying at near their shop while they did an oil change on my car. After I told Todd I had a long drive back home in a couple of days he even did a checkup on the car without me asking for it to make sure everything would be in good working order for my trip! I came in to fix my master cylinder then upsold me on a serpentine belt that wasn't needed at all then they told me it could've been my ABS module and instead of checking and confirming they were like yeah lets just fix the thing they asked for and move them along.Starting a service I DID Not APPROVE just to tell me that bleeding the brakes manually didn't do anything then using the machine.They stopped when i told them I did not want that service so now i paid $700 something just for my car to be sitting in their lot for 4 days while they twiddle their thumbs. They were exceptionally quick about the oil change, and they discovered the problem with my brakes when they topped off the brake line fluid. They had the repairs done by the end of day. I pulled to the drive thru just for them to tell me it was door dash only. on maps it does not…read morestate that AT ALL. so i waited in the parking lot ordered through doordash at 11:16 pm didn't receive my food until 11:50 during the almost 40 minutes of waiting for my food i went to the window to see what was taking so long to make some nuggets and fries and the guy at the window said we're making it right now and i asked what have yall been doing this whole time and he didn't have an answer for me this was 30 minutes after i already placed my order on door dash and then i get my food and it's cold and stale like it's been sitting there the entire time there was nobody in the drive thru the crew members inside the establishment were just playing around the whole time as i watched through the window.
