I have been here for a few oil changes and when my engine light came on - the Nissan place gave this long long list of things that need to be fixed. The cost was over $2,000 when they were done. Auto Repair would have slapped a pair of pads on the worn down rotors, so I am grateful that they refused to work on my car. And when they grow up I hope they develop a sense of humor. Because she arrived late in the day, they asked her to leave the car overnight. The next morning they told her the battery was bad and quoted over $350 to replace it. She called Sam's Club in Bluffton--$140 with free installation. When she called the Auto Care Center back, they said she still owed $63 just for the battery test. Running late for work, she told me what happened, so I called the manager, Gary. When I questioned the $63 fee--especially when local auto parts stores test batteries for free--his response was, "I got to pay taxes." He repeated this instead of reconsidering the charge. All of this was written on the receipt. The young man that serviced the car told us it is still pulling to the left and he didn't have a reason why. We took it to a local tire shop in our area and showed us that all 4 tires were in terrible condition. Too dangerous to drive at all! They also showed us how terrible the alignment was with the tires leaning inward. This place is dangerous!! Do not get your alignment here, unless you like living on the edge of danger!!
