I came in to fix my master cylinder then upsold me on a serpentine belt that wasn't needed at all then they told me it could've been my ABS module and instead of checking and confirming they were like yeah lets just fix the thing they asked for and move them along.Starting a service I DID Not APPROVE just to tell me that bleeding the brakes manually didn't do anything then using the machine.They stopped when i told them I did not want that service so now i paid $700 something just for my car to be sitting in their lot for 4 days while they twiddle their thumbs. Because she arrived late in the day, they asked her to leave the car overnight. The next morning they told her the battery was bad and quoted over $350 to replace it. She called Sam's Club in Bluffton--$140 with free installation. When she called the Auto Care Center back, they said she still owed $63 just for the battery test. Running late for work, she told me what happened, so I called the manager, Gary. When I questioned the $63 fee--especially when local auto parts stores test batteries for free--his response was, "I got to pay taxes." He repeated this instead of reconsidering the charge. Ladies, be aware before you take your car there.

They charge tax on their invoice then double tax you when they run cards for processing. Tax on a tax. Just paid them 2,000 for a catalytic converter and within one week my vehicle died out. They tried getting me to sign my title over to them without letting me know what was wrong with it and when I told them I wanted to get it towed to a dealership for a second opinion, they jammed my doors so that I couldn't get access into my vehicle, thereby loosing thousands in tools, materials and equipment. Auto Care Center is an absolute joke. They love giving one price before the work and adding hundreds onto the bill when you go to pay. Go anywhere but here!!!

He stated that the engine needed injector replacement based on the report. He wrote up an estimate for $1,476 and asked for a $1,202 deposit claiming that was to cover parts. He went on to say that he eats these jobs for breakfast and that he would try to squeeze it in before the Thanksgiving holiday or even come by on Saturday to begin the work. 11 days later having not heard from him we decided to stop in and check on the status of repair, Aleczander greeted us stating he had not begun the job suggesting if we were going to micromanage his work we could get a refund and go elsewhere. I would strongly suggest to anyone thinking of going to this repair (Doctor Auto) shop to consider going to someone more reliable.

They concluded no oil change was necessary- synthetic oil is the oil I use . I was down in HH for a bit over three weeks and saw that my "change oil" light flipped on the way down and as I had a lot of driving coming up - including driving back to Pennsylvania - I found Station One on the AAA recommendation list and booked an oil change there. They took my car at the appointed time, took care of the oil, and then did a safety check where they found a bubble on my passenger side rear wheel. They pointed out the problem, circled it in chalk, and told me that it was dangerous to drive on, and even gave me a quote for replacing the tire, or two tires. I don't know s*it about cars but I have great mechanics back home who I've trusted for over thirty years and after I got back to where we were staying I sent them a photo of the bubble on which you can actually see the bubble protruding, they absolutely agreed with the mechanics here and told me that under no uncertain terms that I could not drive back with any tire in that condition. They didn't even want me driving on any major highway until it was replaced. Plus, my guy says that the quoted price for replacement was very fair, that I wouldn't be doing better at home. Station One fit me in first thing in the morning allowing the plans for the rest of my day to go on as planned, they took about exactly the amount of time they told me to expect it to take and when they presented the bill it was less than the quotation. I can't thank them enough. We've all been reading about escalating tire prices and availability - they had access to what was needed overnight at a price that was more than reasonable.

I dropped the vehicle off at 845 in AM . I was told someone would get back to in couple hours with a repair estimate. After no contact all day I went back to the shop at 515 pm only to find out that nothing was done .. supposedly they read the code on the handheld diagnostic tool around 4pm only to find out what the car displayed on the dash screen I was told that it was a busy day and appointments were no priority.. The establishment charged me 150 for doing nothing but reading my car dash screen.. did not even open the hood to see if debris may have been trapped on the grill When I left the location my vehicle seem to be in the place I left it except but now buried behind other vehicles Pathetic service , attitude and totally unprofessional
