Because she arrived late in the day, they asked her to leave the car overnight. The next morning they told her the battery was bad and quoted over $350 to replace it. She called Sam's Club in Bluffton--$140 with free installation. When she called the Auto Care Center back, they said she still owed $63 just for the battery test. Running late for work, she told me what happened, so I called the manager, Gary. When I questioned the $63 fee--especially when local auto parts stores test batteries for free--his response was, "I got to pay taxes." He repeated this instead of reconsidering the charge. Ladies, be aware before you take your car there.

They tried getting me to sign my title over to them without letting me know what was wrong with it and when I told them I wanted to get it towed to a dealership for a second opinion, they jammed my doors so that I couldn't get access into my vehicle, thereby loosing thousands in tools, materials and equipment. All of this was written on the receipt. The young man that serviced the car told us it is still pulling to the left and he didn't have a reason why. We took it to a local tire shop in our area and showed us that all 4 tires were in terrible condition. Too dangerous to drive at all! They also showed us how terrible the alignment was with the tires leaning inward. This place is dangerous!! Do not get your alignment here, unless you like living on the edge of danger!!
