I had a serious flooding problem near my front door. I tried re-grading the area and that helped…read morebut it couldn't keep up with the rain. I called Carefree Sheetmetal and Jason came out. We walked around the house and he told me areas where gutters would make a difference and areas where I should just save my money. I appreciated his honesty. He proposed 6 inch gutters because I have a tile roof and I went for the flat face which is a much nicer look and blends in better with the fascia. You have 30 colors to choose from and you can mix/match the gutter and downspout colors. He gave me an estimate and I gave them a deposit. This was just before Christmas last year and the gutters/downspouts weren't installed until mid-March. They are seriously backlogged but it was worth the wait. The installation crew showed up on time and fabricated my gutters on the property. If you've never watched gutters formed from flat sheetmetal you're in for a treat. They had the gutters/downspouts/splash guards installed in no time and they look great. More importantly they work! I tested them out with a garden hose and my flooding problem is gone.

Turns out they did, even though it was about an inch larger than the existing downspouts. It's comparatively massive. Poor customer service. All I wanted was one more downspout installed. Happily paid for it even though the treatment I received was not warranted.
