I'd like to share some of the reasons why I've used their services. 1. Consistency: The Cleaning Authority (TCA) always calls 24-hours ahead of time to remind me of my scheduled appointment. Since I work from home, they also provide me with a window for when the crew will arrive. That allows me to plan my work around their visit. 2. Quality of Service: Every cleaner or crew that has worked on my home has done a high-quality job. They're always very kind and thorough and regularly go out of their way to get things done right. When there was a problem (only one a long time ago) with the wrong cleaner used on my kitchen tile, Scott sent someone out first thing the next day to redo the job correctly, and no questions asked. 3. Price: Of all the other cleaning services, TCA had significantly lower costs and did a better job than their competitors. 4. Trust: Over the years, TCA has cleaned my home about 312 times. There's never been a problem with pilferage, ever. I'm glad I found TCA. They make my life easier, and my home is more comfortable and welcoming. They do a better job than I could do myself, and the time I save allows to focus on things I'd rather be doing. Most of the people that came to clean did a pretty good job. However, they kept sending one team that was always late, wouldn't take their shoes off, and generally just didn't do a good job. I tried to work with the company and notified them on three different occasions that I didn't want them to send that specific team. I then asked for a partial refund for one of the cleanings and they said no. So all and all I can't recommend them and feel as though I tried to work through the issues.

Last week we moved my father into assisted living as he is suffering from dementia. Contacted Heather on Wednesday and confirmed that she would come out and clean my dad's place on Saturday. Fast forward to today when it was scheduled for her to go out there and when she arrived she sent a text saying there was rat feces, bed bugs on the carpet, mouse droppings on every window, and then said the place was so bad that it would cost $1500-2000 to be cleaned by a restoration company. And then she said I lied about the condition and then calls me trash and a clown and then is threatening legal action against me. So weird, I was the customer calling her to see if she provide a service which was house cleaning because I needed the kitchen & bathrooms cleaned and the carpets vacuumed for the new homeowners. My dad has a cleaning person come out every couple weeks to clean the house and do laundry. She made it sound like the house should be condemned. She also left the back door open, side door open and left the lights on in every room. Not very professional at all. Maybe new to house cleaning business? Maybe not. Anyway I would discourage anyone from using these services when if things don't go her way she verbally starts attacking. The reviews on Yelp/Google/KSL all speak for themselves. I had to call my credit card company to dispute the $250 charge. I also had to call the authorities for her constant harassing. And nope I will not remove my review so that others can have peace of mind when looking for a honest and trustworthy person to clean their home or office.

I'm not going to lie watching her yell at him felt very wrong, I yelled to her to take some f****** responsibility, then the magic happened I got called a c***, a b****, filth, a bully, just about anything degrading she could think to say she said it . I wanted to save time of having to do it myself and wanted it perfect for my landlord. On the phone they quoted me 8-10 hours. And scheduled me for the first available time which was a week later. The day scheduled they didn't show, not even a call to tell me they had to cancel. My biggest mistake was rescheduling and giving them a second chance. First: I was charged the full 10 hours when I know they were not there longer than 8, the tenant sharing the unit next to mine witnessed them leaving 2 hours after arrival. when I asked about this I was told that the girls clocked it an hour before they were scheduled to be there. I discussed that I wanted to pay cash but gave them a credit cars number to hold the time arranged. Well, without my authorization they went ahead and charged my card for work that wasn't done. I would think a cleaning agency would be aware of things that should be cleaned for a move out. Wipe down the walls? No they didn't! Clean the inside of drawers and cabinets! No they didn't, vacuum! No they didn't. Stove & fridge was still left a mess . I ended up doing all the cleaning myself anyway. First of, I will say I am very grateful for Koby who was excellent at the customer service side of things! He was helpful in giving me a price quote, and even adjusting it for me several times while I was changing my mind on what I wanted! Ultimately I scheduled a deep clean for all areas of the house except the bedrooms. I was told it would be from the ceiling to the floors -- dusting high cobwebs around the crown molding, to "wet wipe down of all the baseboards" and that is definitely not even closet to what I got. Some of the crown molding trim was dusted of cobwebs but definitely not most of it. I could still see several dusty high spider webs after they left. And in many areas they seemed to do the high dusting last, which resulted in dust falling on the counter that they had just cleaned. (For example, on my bathroom counter, they dusted the lights over my vanity last, and that left dust all over my toothbrush and earring tray and other things on the counter. And similar things happened in the other bathrooms. Everyone who cleans should know that you need to work from top to bottom for this exact reason). All the mirrors that they wiped down were left foggy and streaky. They did not wet wipe (or wipe at all) any baseboards as far as I could tell. And they barely swept, vacuumed, or mopped. I could still see crumbs and spots and things all over the hardwood and carpeted floors even after they were done. There was also a language barrier that made it harder too. And I feel bad even bringing that up! But I couldn't ask them questions or specify instructions for them, and I think that is part of why things did not get done to the standard that I was expecting. I paid nearly $800 and was willing to do it for a deep clean, but that is not what I got. Even if this had just been for a general clean, I was just not happy with the result of things when they left for the price I had paid. I had hired them to get a lot done in preparation for an event at our house and I still had to clean a LOT before the event because they did not do a good job.

So I called Barlow Service Experts for a 2nd opinion, which they offer FREE 2nd opinions! Awesome :) Calling and scheduling an appointment was easy and their technician was professional and polite. I advised the Technician of what the previous company had mentioned to me and the problems they found and Barlow mentioned that was NOT the case... In fact my furnace was fine and just needed a clean out. The previous company had also put my furnace back together incorrectly, which would have prevented it from operating correctly... so Barlow fixed that too! Barlow gave me a few suggestions, but overall nothing immediately needed to be fixed or repaired. My furnace is working great and Barlow saved me from getting scammed out of nearly $1,000 from another local heating company. Thank you Barlow! Very impressed.

I'm not an impatient person I understand mistakes happen. I am a very reasonable person however, there are certain things that I've learned working through Robert Halfin downtown Salt Lake City that I just never experienced as an employee. To begin with, I was told my résumé was submitted, but come to find out the days later it wasn't submitted because they needed me to edit my résumé, which is no issue, but I was told that it was being submitted. I was told that it was already submitted on top of trying to get a hold of my rep I would never get a phone call or a text message back so it was a little bit irritating, trying to find out the status of an application. Also, after my application was submitted I was told that I was not a good selection, because Robert is not attempting agency they are permanent job placement however, Robert is an employment agency, so they are more known for having temporary positions and permanent positions but either way, I am really shocked that Robert have here and Utah definitely has different ways of ethics of working with their potential employees, I would stay clear and stay away from this agency as I can assure you have someone who has worked with agencies before for about 15 years. This is not one of the best and absolutely one of the worst experiences I've ever come through.
