In the past, I've had good experience with this company, but their customer service has really gone down hill. I went to get my third rug from them and in the middle of us talking, the salesman practically ran away from me when someone more important-seeming walked into the store. I waited for a while until someone else would help me. After I brought home samples, I called the second salesman to set up time to measure my staircase. He never returned my call. So I reluctantly called the first salesman who had passed me off. He also never returned my call. I called a third time and got a third customer salesman. I set up a time for him to come measure my stairs for carpet. I took off work that day to be home for him and got someone to watch my dogs. He never showed up. When I called the store they said oh yeah he took today off. He just no-showed and never called to let me know he needed to reschedule. I'm so disappointed because I had already picked out the carpet and was excited to get it installed. I will not be using this company ever again, nor would I recommend them to anyone. read more

This company has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. No one seems to actually work there, and it takes forever to get your rug. Eriq Boyd was my salesperson, and he does not respond to voicemails. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else. read more

Great installation company. Great Service. Great pricing. Knowledgeable Sales People. Great Customer Service. Great Selection of Carpet, Hardwood. LVP, LVT, and more. A must go to company read more

I purchased a 12x12 rug and when it was delivered, the two delivery men refused to install it and told me to call a moving company. They told me they could not lift the bottom two legs of the bed to install the rug because it was an adjustable bed. They put the heavy rug and pad in my garage and left. I contacted the sales person and he told me that he would get back to me, but almost a week later, I still have not heard from him. I also sent an email to the owner of the company and received no response after several days of waiting. I am 75 years old and had no way of installing the rug and had to contact another company and spent almost $200 to get the rug installed. I would not recommend this company due to poor customer service. read more

Do NOT use unless you want to basically set your money on fire. DO NOT USE. After initial install of wool carpet it looked wavy- the installer that put it in said he has seen this before and it was the padding our sales guy choose (the recommended one for the carpet) so we changed it. We did want a more plush padding anyways. However the sales guy said it wasn't that and the felt padding would be fine- but again we wanted softer padding. He said it just needed to settle (spoiler alert: It's STILL wavy and it was installed months ago and they came out to steam the rooms but "forgot" to do certain rooms) we changed out all the padding THEN the company tried to blame the issues on the padding now. When the issues were there with the padding in the first place (issues listed below). the wavy ness was JUST the start of our problems: -carpet coming lose on the edges -carpet lifting in the center of the room - still the wave in the carpet they blamed it on the house /padding which the carpet that had been taken up before fit perfectly and didn't have any issues (it was the exact same type of wool carpet, just a different color) so no the issue is the poor workmanship/the company not caring. Eventually, They had a different installer come out to give his perspective on the install and only said there was nothing wrong with the install and that my eyes were lying, even though I was physically lifting the edge of the carpet off the floor (due to not being tacked down). I asked this particular installer to leave my house because it was clear he wasn't going to address any issues and then he became adamant he wasn't leaving. I told him I would call the cops if he didn't leave and still he refused and told me to call the cops. Ultimately, he left at the direction of the salesman. For an installer to refuse to leave an owner's home at their request is unexplainable and I think is something everyone should be aware of before using this company. So now after A LOT of money spent on this terrible carpet job and padding, we are having to replace it because it's SO BAD. RUN AWAY. Do not use this company. read more

Have always received top-notch service from Hall's Flooring both in sales and installation but my most recent interaction with one of their sales staff was sadly disappointing. I visited their showroom on Feb 5 prepared to place another order for vinyl flooring. It was to be the same as previously ordered. The salesperson took my info and said he would call Karastan and get back with me later that day. ( I had already confirmed it was still available when price shopping.) Heard nothing from him. Sent email to him on Wednesday and when I still had heard nothing by Friday morning, I tried to reach him by telephone ( unsuccessfully) By the time he finally contacted me Friday afternoon, I had already reached out to another Karastan dealer who sent me quote and we closed the sale by phone. A simple transaction that should have been handled better. Sales staff are the first people that customers come in contact with and unfortunately, I got the impression that this staff member did not care if I placed the order or not. read more

Hall's Flooring provided excellent service from the time I made the initial call to their showroom to the moment the installers were vacuuming the hallway in front of our unit. Highly recommend! read more

I'll be honest I'm a little surprised by the reviews here because I had a great experience with Hall's. My husband and I were renovating our home and needed new carpet for 3 bedrooms and some closets. We had looked around at other places, had tons of carpet samples, and nothing really felt like what we were looking for. We stopped in here one weekend to browse and Gregg helped us out and gave us some information on carpets. They have a great selection compared to anywhere else we went and we really liked the Karastan carpets that they carry. They also had a great sale going on, which was a nice surprise. Gregg helped us check out some samples that we were able to take home-and large ones, not the tiny 8x8", which was much more helpful to visualize the carpet in our space. We liked the carpet but not the colors, so he helped us track down some other colors to try. Gregg came out to measure our rooms and got us a quote that same day. I was impressed by their pricing-it was similar to "discount" places we had gotten quotes from but I felt like the quality of the product was far better. We really needed our install by a certain date and Gregg was able to make that happen. Honestly once we put down our deposit and made the appointment it almost felt too easy. On install day their guys showed up on time, it was a father and son team, and they were a delight to work with. They were quick and professional and took good care of the space they were working in. I was nervous about seams and baseboards since we were going with a lower pile carpet than we had but I think everything turned out great. At the end, the invoice they had had the wrong total price, but they said not to worry and just to call the store to get it sorted out. We were able to drop off a check the next week. Working with Hall's was by far one of the easiest parts of our renovation and I'd definitely recommend checking them out if you're on the hunt for quality flooring. read more

Visited this location for assistance with sample review in person. The staff is less than helpful as they had samples to view but couldn't reference the Mohawk item number in their system. The rep clearly didn't want to help me because he knew I wasn't going to purchase the carpet from him, only purchase a sample. If you're looking for "service", don't go here. read more

I hate to give this store a bad review, but their customer service is horrible!!! It's unfortunate because they have gorgeous rugs and remnants. read more

It's unfortunate for me that I at least like someone to say hello to me or ask if I need assistance when I walk in someplace. I walked around for awhile & browsed through the carpets & rugs. They have a nice selection and I wanted to buy something & tried to make eye contact, but, oh well, no luck. See you never Hall's Flooring. read more

Just stopped by Hall's with my wife who has purched other rugs there. The folks there Dennis, Dan, and Brandon could not be nicer, or more helpful. Brandon brought our carpets out and loaded into our SUV. read more

Avoid this place at all costs. To say their customer service is terrible is an understatement. My wife and I tried on multiple occasions to give this place our business but they would not respond and then when we finally got ahold of the sales agent he was unprofessional. We sent multiple emails to which we got ZERO response. We ended up having to go into the store to get ahold of the agent. After that visit we sent three more follow on emails asking how to move forward but they refused to respond. After I called the store, Brandon finally sent my wife an email telling us we need to pay in advance of install but his email lacked any sort of instructions on how we were to make the payment. That was the last straw, I was not going to give my money to this business. Warner's Rugs carries the exact brands as Hall's and they were happy to come give us a quote. We signed their contract on the spot and they will be here in two weeks to install the job. In summary, Hall's sucks. Stay away. read more

Hired Hall's Flooring to install Karndean vinyl planks in several floors rooms of my condo (kitchen, entry, 2 bathrooms). The glue they used is seeping upward through the seams of the planks leaving a sticky mess. No help forthcoming from them to resolve this installation issue. read more

Don't waste your time here. We visited the store and got a price of $1,671.00 to carpet our den. The salesman Dan Kirkland then came to our house and quoted the job at $2,200.00. The only explanation I could get was that the estimator in the store had made a miscalculation. As a rule of thumb, I don't do business with a company that won't honor their in-store quotes. read more

I had a great experience at Hall's. We recently moved into a new home and needed carpets and rugs for several rooms in our house. I now have 4 carpets/rugs from Halls and have been pleased with each transaction. Their quotes were timely and the installers and estimators were very professional. They arrived within the window of time they told me for installation and even moved an old rug into another room for me at no extra charge. They have an amazing selection of carpets! I like supporting a local family business and will go to them for any future carpet needs! read more

As a Charlotte area builder, I've used Halls for all my carpet needs for the past 20 yrs. in new homes from 2,000 to 10,000 sf and remodels of all sizes. They have always delivered a quality product and excellent customer service for me and my clients. They don't play the games that are so common in the floorcovering market in this area. read more

I've been in many times as it takes me a while to make the commitment to purchase. Every time I have found the sales people to be informative and very warm and cordial. Service is perhaps slightly friendlier on the warehouse side than the regular side. read more
