    I am in love with my new granite countertops in black pearl! Lisa is my contact person who has been so great with quickly responding to my many questions before, during, and after the installation. Also the guy who came to do the templating gave me some advice on cutting tile since I'm doing the backsplash myself. There was only one issue with a caulk line but it is getting taken care of, thank you!

    New kitchen countertops

    Hallmark Stone put in our hardwood countertops in our kitchen. They did a fantastic job. We could not be more pleased. The whole crew from the gentleman who measured, Lisa the project manager, and the installation crew, were all very professional, polite and respectful. They patiently answered our questions and made sure that we were completely taken care of. Highly recommend.

    Great team, great communication! We Purchased a few nice-sized Quartz countertops (Carrera Bianco) through the HDepot as part of an overall kitchen remodel project. Most of the communication and service came through Hallmark (Stacey), a real pro. The laser measurements and how they translate to the actual cut of the stone were spot-on and accurate. There was only one seam at a 90-degree corner and it's meshed so perfectly, you can't tell it's there! We ended up not purchasing the backsplash only because our walls were a little out of plumb and will probably just put in a tile backsplash ourselves next week... Still, the oversized 9' kitchen island, 24' of counter space, and a 4' beverage bar area ALL were covered with this beautiful Carrera Bianco. I recommend Hallmark Stone and trust them on future projects (maybe the bathrooms next)! Amazing job! Patrick

    I like the stone i chose for my countertops, that's about the only positive thing I have to say about working with this company. I bought quartz countertops through Home Depot for my house I'm preparing to sell, not knowing who they would contract through. Lisa was our point of contact and communication was ok? It felt like we were always following up with her to find out next steps and that we were an afterthought. Hallmark initially took the measurements over the phone, then came to our house to measure/template. Once the countertops were ready for install, we were out of town. Lisa said they could install without us home if we gave them access to the house. Big mistake. While they were here, they removed our new faucet and all of the drain plug accessories and apparently threw it away. Then we got a text message that the cabinets aren't level, they missed that during measurements, and they could not install. We had to have our general contractor stop work to address this, in the meantime the stone installers left a slab in my dining room, limiting wall access for my painting contractor putting multiple jobs behind schedule. They returned to install the countertops, at which point we noticed the missing faucet. When we asked, the only response we got was "if you don't tell us you want to keep it we automatically throw it away." So, there's another $200 we had to spend to buy a replacement. The management at Hallmark could not have cared less about this. They had to return a 4th time to install the backsplash. The overall work is ok, the edges on one side don't line up or match where the previous countertops were, there's a sizable gap next to the stove that doesn't have any seal behind it, they left a big mess in my cabinets, and they left all of my kitchen drawers on the floor. I'm preparing a kitchen remodel on my new house and I will be staying as far away from this company as possible.

    ABSOLUTELY UNEQUIVOCALLY DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. THE COMPANY THAT SCHEDULES FOR THEM (install made easy) IS NOT ACCREDITED BUSINESS WITH 1 star on better business bureau! PLEASE KEEP READING This company as a whole is absolute garbage on every professional level. A 4 hour counter top job turned into hall mark stone being in our house for 4 days at this point WITHOUT THE JOB BEING COMPLETED after their employee ruined the counters. 6 days without running water in the kitchen. Hallmark stone admitted they ruined the counter tops and have REFUSED TO DO ANYTHING TO RIGHT THEIR MESS UP. Whoever runs the operations their Ben or Annie or whoever it is as a cluster of a company are horrible human beings on every level. YOU WILL 100% regret using them for anything. Horrible company, horrible management, garbage quality, field workers that don't know what to do and ruin the product, forgetting a sink 2 hrs away. The list goes on. STAY AWAY!!!! They are affiliated with LOWES and the way Lowes has treated us I will take my business elsewhere! *they didn't show up the day scheduled * forgot the sink the day they showed up (cost us another day *field guy ruined the counters *ben refused to get them pulled that day (cost us another day) *a guy they claimed could fix it COULDNT (cost us another day) *threatened to cancel the job and charge our card if we "didn't respond in 24 hrs" to a stupid question they had ON THE DAY OUR SON WAS HAVING SURGERY (ALL WHILE THEY WERE AWARE OF HIM HAVING SURGERY SCHEDULED) this company is literally the scum of the earth!

    The folks at Hallmark Stone did a great job with our Clarino quartz countertops and backsplash. Shout out to Collin One, Josh H., Max, and Brett for their craftsmanship, professionalism, and good nature and for taking the time to help me understand the process. I don't think I could have asked for better.

The best contracting job we have experienced in Missouri.     Ordered through Home Depot. Didn't know which company was installing countertops. When they Came out to install countertops and 2 smaller caps for half walls in a bathroom this was all new construction no removal of old tops. The color of countertop was completely different than what I chose but the 2 caps were correct. Sent someone out to verify that colors didn't match. They remade the countertop and damaged the new walls during removal or install and installed the new one very un-level. Contacted company because this top didn't match the other two so they removed one of the caps to take back to match and damaged the other wall. Came out a fourth time with a replacement top for one of the half walls to match the countertop but not the other which still didn't match. Repaired the un-level top this time and Removed smaller top to take back to shop to remake the longer cap. Came back to reinstall for the fifth additional time and this time damaged the other wall for the shower; all 3 walls touching the tops are now damaged and need repairs to the new drywall At least they all finally match. It only took 5 additional half days off for them to get it right. I could have had them repair the walls but that would have been additional days off. I was running out of vacation time just to get the tops correct. This was a Small job and they couldn't get it right. Glad it wasn't a whole kitchen. Will find someone else for that remodel for sure

    Hallmark stone was the contractor used by Home Depot for the countertop I ordered. The purchasing process was quite easy and the company called me a few days after I completed my order. The lady I dealt with initially was Annette. She called me to setup an initial measurements, I missed it because I was at work, called her back and texted a few times and she didn't call back until about 5 hours later. I had a very hard time hearing her over the phone but after some struggles, she was able to set-up an appointment for measurements. The measurement took about two hours but apparently the guy was helpful and explained everything including some changes to the measurements and the sink to my husband. I was at work so he took care of that for me. I did inform them that my husband will need to sign for the changes even though the order was only under my name. Less than a week later, Stacy called me to go over the changes, finalize the counter top selection, materials, and get any outstanding balances paid. She had difficulties with the Home Depot website so she ended up hanging up to get everything sorted and called me back with a much quicker run down of the order, the changes, and gather payment information. Overall, that conversation was quite pleasant. At the end of the conversation we set-up an installation date. The installation went smoothly, the guys came in and got everything done in about an hour or so and we love our new quartz countertops and new undermount sink! Two days later, they were scheduled to return to install the backsplash. However, the schedule was changed without my knowledge. The only reason I even found out was because I got a confirmation phone call from someone in the company to make sure someone is home when they send their installers. I was very confused and worried since the plumbers were supposed to come around the same time and I was told they will not hook up my plumbing until everything is done. When I called the person I thought was my new contact (Stacy), she informed me that she did not know anything about my project as she was only taking over for Annette while she was on vacation. I could not get ahold of Annette so I basically waited a day for any call back and did not get one until around 4:30pm to confirm the schedule change and to notify me that they had contacted the plumbing company about the change. Great! When everything was completed for my counters, the plumber came but he was rude and stated he would not do the work and that it would cost us a couple thousand more to get some changes they want done and drill holes in places. Since Hallmark Stone subcontracted the plumber, I contacted them to let them know that the work was not done and because he was rude, I decided we would find someone on our own rather than support a business who sends some disrespectful person out to their clients. The lady who answered my call took down my information, said she will follow up with the plumbing company to make sure my claims of not having the work done were correct, and then call me back with information about my refund for services not rendered. More than 48 hours have passed and this all happened during the week day so I did ensure to give them over 2 full business days to address my issue but no one called me back. Frustrated and annoyed, I called Home Depot and asked for a refund for services not rendered. They remedied my situation immediately and said they have had complaints about the same plumbing company by other clients. In less than 24 hours, they processed my refund and no one ever did call me back from Hallmark Stone. I guess they thought I was trying to scam them? Who knows but I was slightly disappointed with their customer service and their lack of follow-up on issues. I do truly love my new countertops and I'm happy with the actual installation service and material quality but their customer service could definitely be improved.

    Colin and Nick did an excellent job with our countertop installation. They were prompt, friendly and professional. They were helpful with all questions and made sure everything was perfect. Even on a sloppy, cold day, they were careful to not make a mess and cleaned up at the end. Great crew

    The sink was installed incorrectly and brackets were sitting under the sink in the corner.

    DO NOT use this company! Buyer beware! Our kitchen sink was installed by Hallmark Stone less than 2 years ago and it just completely dropped out and fell in the cabinet below (see pictures). Hallmark Stone employees were incredible rude and could "care less" that they installed our sink incorrectly. The only way that they would help us was if we paid them (which is very interesting because they installed the sink incorrectly in the first place). Ben was the person that we were dealing with. We showed Ben that there were 4 brackets sitting in the corner under the sink that were never used in the sink install. Ben BLAMED US for not noticing that the brackets were not used to install the sink. Can you imagine standing at your kitchen sink in your newly remodeled kitchen and it just falls out!? If you use this company unfortunately-you will probably find out the hard way like we did.

    Service is very poor. They put in wrong kitchen backsplash and refuse to fix it despite proof that they made a serious error.

    They were quick and efficient. The 4" backsplash wouldnt work to a wall that was warped so we had to eat it but that wasn't their fault

    Dealing with this company has been incredibly frustrating/stressful. Despite their claims about…read moreclient satisfaction and obtaining proper permits, they failed to meet basic expectations of this in my case. This saddened me due to knowing them on a personal level. In 2021, I hired them to remodel two bathrooms. While there were issues like missing grout and plumbing leaks I overlooked and later had repaired, the main problem was their failure to obtain the proper permits. This became evident in early October 2024 when I was selling my house. During the occupancy inspection, it was noted that the necessary permits had never been filed, causing the inspection to fail and jeopardizing the sale. I contacted the company immediately, but after several follow-ups, they did nothing to resolve the issue promptly. Despite my constant calls and emails, the company showed no urgency, and I never spoke with a manager/owner, despite my constant requests. The administrative assistant assured me the permit would be filed, but it wasn't. When I discovered that it was note filed, she told me she had her brother's birthday party she went to that night and she would file it the next day. This was very unprofessional and continued to delay the sale of my home The permit was finally filed on October 22, 2024, but by then, it was too late to close on time, costing me thousands in loan extensions and extra mortgage payments. When I requested reimbursement due to the failure of work on their end, the company refused. After the permit was filed, multiple revisions to the building plan they submitted caused more delays because they did not draw it correctly. I paid for the permits myself to keep things moving and took the initiative to contact inspectors directly. When I asked the company to send an employee to an inspection, they said they would do it, but it would cost them extra on their end. This should have been standard! By December, with only three days left to avoid losing the sale, further mistakes caused delays. I had to personally call the plan reviewer, who then approved the plan, enabling me to proceed with inspections and close on the house. There are so many details to share about this experience, however on this platform I am unable to fully express them due to the lack of space allowed. Throughout this ordeal, I received rude and accusatory responses, with the company attempting to shift blame onto me. Their failure to handle the permits correctly led to unnecessary financial and emotional stress. I will never use this company again and cannot recommend them due to their lack of accountability, poor communication, and unprofessionalism.
