He listened to my story, helped me select the right color and gave me insight that a layman customer doesn't consider. We were able to use an existing frame and he performed the work while I waited a few minutes. Never going to purchase anything there again. Have had a lot of custom framing done there over the past couple of years. Not cheap or fast but generally good advice. Yesterday, bought several "off the shelf" frames. These were not cheap ($35 for an 8X10), but figured they were from a professional framing store they would be good. Especially since they were the Hall of Frames branded frames. Got home...they were particle board with a lame vinyl veneer. AND I was the one who had to install the hanger! Have purchased better frames from Joanne and Amazon at a fraction of the cost. Given this experience, makes me feel as though I have likely been overcharged on the previous jobs as well. I do not begrudge people making money. However, the price you charge should be commensurate with the quality of the product. I am sorry that HOF does not get this. So, congratulations on your profit HOF, but you have now lost a customer for life. read more

Hall of Frames has forever lost my business. I have spent over $1K getting several pieces of artwork framed at this shop in the past year and have been very happy -- until now. I recently had a few small prints framed and matted by Liz, with her advice. One of the prints did not come out as expected--the matte made the artwork appear much darker than expected--so I returned to the shop hoping they could switch it out. Liz advised that I would have to pay about another $50 for the new matte -- for a framed piece that I had already spent nearly $350 on -- which was grossly overpriced. I had to haggle for her to reduce the price to $40. Honestly, considering I've spent so much money at this business, it was disappointing and offensive that they couldn't have just fixed it as a courtesy. I guess customer satisfaction and loyalty don't matter. I paid the added fee, but have no intention of giving them future business. Buyer beware -- you can do better and at less cost at Michaels. read more

Hall of frames did an amazing job framing a guilt that was made from my fathers ties. The staff is very friendly and worked with us on what we needed and what we needed to do to help them create the best product. They recommended that we use plexiglass to help reduce weight. The only hiccup we had was the thickness of plexi. After some research we decided on the thicker plexus to help prevent bowing of the plexi due to its size. 4'11" x 4'11". Since we picked the thicker plexi there isn't any bowing at all. When I went to pick up the frame they helped me carry it out to my truck and make sure it was secure. They are on the higher end of the prices but it is well worth the service and quality. read more

I took two large pictures (24"x30") in frames that were from the 90's and had broken glass to get reframed for my dads Christmas present. Of course I procrastinated and brought the pictures and old frames in on 12/19 hoping they could rush it in time for Christmas Eve. The associate was very helpful in maintaining my budget and noted that he thought he could get it done for pickup the morning of 12/24. I picked out the cheapest glass and a cheaper frame that was still very nice. I got a call on 12/23 (a day early) to pick up my pictures. Not only were they early, but the work was phenomenal. They covered all their bases and did so very professionally, even included multiple wall mounts/hooks for free. Paying more for better frames and glass would have been a waste of money because the final product looked perfect and not cheap. I couldn't have been more please. read more
