But for now, here is that experience: I arrived five minutes early, was greeted professionaly, courteously, and efficently, and given my forms to fill in. My wait in reception was less than ten minutes. In addition to the reception staff, the staff member who took my initial eye measurements was, too. In any case, Dr. Greg Ferrucci is phenomenal and you know fast that he is a real doctor, full on. He asked me the right questions to really learn about my particular eyes both visually and from a pure medical/physical standpoint, and then the first thing he did was find an astigma-related axis difference that apparently will help sharpen my prescription. The best part was when he hooked me up with very comfy disposable contacts for an hour so that I could try on frames and actually see what I was choosing. Literally, this was the first time in my 46 years of wearing glasses that any doctor has offered to help me in this way. It made a huge difference in the ease of picking the right eyeglass frames, and I am looking forward to getting them. On that note, lastly, the opticians there are great.

He is also great with…read morekids I am leaving this doctors office because of the service I have gotten at the desk/office. They are more concerned about their money then customer service. I have had 4 different incidents with them at the desk. We are a family of 4 that are all patients. We buy all our glasses and contacts through them. They have made a few mistakes long the way but they turn it around and make me feel like I did something wrong. The last incident was deceitful. I didnt want a procedure done. I signed saying that I didn't want it. I was told in the middle of the exam that I qualified for it and it would be free because he saw something on the eyes. I just got a bill for a copayment portion of the test that I was told would be free. They said it was an insurance issue not theirs. They should not be advertising things as free/covered when it isn't. They have an attitude when you ask any questions. Also I was talked down to when I showed up on time for my appointment but was told I was late because I didn't come 15 min early to fill out paperwork (existing patient) that took me 5 min and I waited to be seen for another 15 min. They were actually late!

The shop is beautiful- very modern, very tidy, ever so tasteful and the selection is vast! Garrett and Max helped me and were excellent! Clearly Garrett absolutely loves what he does. Buying glasses has, for me, always been torture. I have a very thin face and really struggle finding anything small enough. And I like very plain, very subtle, very classic frames. When I explained this, these two gentlemen culled their collections and provided me with close to a dozen choices. I was flabbergasted! And once I tried them all, I still found I had several choices - any of which I would have been pleased with. They were extremely helpful, kind, polite and really funny as well, and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The price is not cheap, but I believe you get what you pay for. When I received a text letting me know my glasses were ready, I arrived fully anticipating several adjustments. Max got the glasses and I put them on- perfection! Not a single adjustment was necessary! And the lenses are incredible. The crispness of my vision is almost beyond description! This is a wonderful eyewear boutique! Go there! For me, this was the most pleasant experience buying glasses I have ever had! Kudos to both Garrett and Max for being just outstanding! Thank you for a wonderful experience. You two are awesome!

I've been called several times in regards to different things and honestly I think there was a few new people who just started -it was getting a little ridiculous with the back and forth when none of it was actually my fault or problem. I've been coming for a few years now and I absolutely love Dr Stirba. She is a very good optometrist and always gets my RX dialed in perfectly. She listens to my CL needs and gets me the best lenses! (I wish Acuvue transitions never got discontinued!!!) You do have to pay up front before services are rendered which isn't my favorite but it's their office policy so what are you going to do? Their glasses selection is small and appears to be all Luxotica brands (which are slowly monopolizing the frame industry) but that's what the majority of people want; name brands. There's better options for quality frames in my opinion. Like I said, wonderful Dr, great technicians who can actually hold a conversation and a team of frame stylists very willing to help you find the perfect frame. I'll be back next June for my yearly apt!

Both my wife and I tried KEC. My visit? I went and bought glasses with their script from a known…read moreonline supplier I have used for decades. The script was absolutely way off. I returned to KEC with those new glasses. They were checked and validated to be accurate based on the script they wrote. I then confronted the optometrist with my previous script from a reputable well known massachusetts ophthalmologist who I had been seeing since I was kid. She changed my script a bit to match my old one and sent me on my way. My wife. Went in this year and she had been using their script from a year ago. Her script was never correct and made her dizzy. The KEC optometrist said it didn't change and also sent her on her way. She was irritated and went to another eye care shop and had an exam but did not give them her script or glasses from KEC. After the initial exam she then gave them the KEC script and the glasses. The new optometrist set the eye exam machine to their new script and the one from KEC. The new optometrist told my wife the script from KEC was way off. Houston, we have a problem. No way will we go back there again. Btw any optometrist that dialates your eyes before the exam? Ask why because KEC does just that.

I've been a loyal patient here for 35 years…read more My last appointment with Gaudreau he asked me if I wore sunglasses and I said no and began to tell him what Dr. Monette from Avena Integrated Medicine in Putnam had said to me. I called for an appointment yesterday and when the receptionist called me back, she told me that Dr. Gaudreau does not want to see me anymore and I should go to Dr Monette for my eye exams because of that conflict. Dr Monette is not an eye doctor. So petty. I made an appointment at Killingly Vision this week.

He made me comfortable and provided me with a level of care that went above and beyond. The lens technician was super helpful and broke down the prices of lens, and my lens options. I didn't leave with contact lenses, but only because they needed to order them, I had a different prescription than regular. They were prompt, kind, and mindful of my minor anxiety!

Thanks to Dr Dean for performing a Lacer treatment in his office, a case of dangerous narrow angled glaucoma was successful! Before this, this doctor found a mole on the back side of my eye, referred me to a specialist' that has kept an eye on my eye. As a result,I strongly recommend this doctor and his staff!
