The place is just so-so (strip mall type) but the food makes up for it. The red beans and rice were the best I have ever had. Mike, who took our order, was super helpful and friendly. Hoping they washed hands at some point no gloves used with server taking orders, collecting money and touching food/cooking in plain view. When food arrived it looked ok until I tasted the coleslaw it was very bad, looked discolored and tasted old needless to say didn't eat it after one bite, my husband spit his out, then came the fried fish, I wasn't impressed no flavor parts of fish was just batter no meat, also the batter didn't stay on onion rings so as soon as u picked them up batter would fall off onion, Hush puppies tasted old not fresh, definitely frozen great value brand or worse. We when questioned we were told they were busy because of Mothers Day but you could clearly see it was not packed but extremely busy, the lack of effort from some of the staff, poor planning, poor preparation, and poor communication from the management made this a bad day for the Mother's and their special day. After 40+ years I don't think I'll be visiting their establishment again after today....
