Hailee has serious chops--professional training, Four Seasons experience, and as a private chef and caterer in Manhattan. We have ordered Hailee's doorstep delivery meals every week for a year and a half. Her French and Italian can hang with top, local restaurants. Fresh lamb, chicken, beef, salmon, cod. Her sauces and pasta are excellent. Her vegetables often steal the show. Her salad dressings--roasted balsamic tomato vinaigrette, caesar, ranch--are find-something-in-the-fridge-to-dip good. Soups are excellent--light yet flavorful. She also prepares greek, spanish, asian and mexican, all of which are excellent restaurant quality. And rarely is her cooking heavy. Its seasoned for flavor and properly prepared. If she makes salmon, you will taste salmon. If she makes brussels sprouts, you will taste brussels sprouts. Plus, its delivered to our door at the beginning of the week. No more dinner-planning. A high-quality dinner is served after heating in the microwave or toaster oven. My friend tried one of the fresh food meal delivery services that are also becoming popular, so we could compare notes and see which one worked better for our families. I'm a nurse, so when I'm working I'm gone for all three meals that day. The night before one of my shifts I decided to give them a try so my poor husband didn't have to come up with something to feed our kids. You need to place your order before 9pm if you want to be able to get a meal for the next day. Which seems pretty reasonable to me. Here's the BEST part. As long as you live in their delivery area, your food arrives at your house fully cooked and ready to be served. And we're not talking greasy takeout. We're talking fresh, healthy, home cooked meals that are delicious. My 5 year old asked for THIRDS of their chicken. And she doesn't eat chicken. That's how good it was. The portions are huge. Our first meal came with chicken kabobs, rice and steamed veggies. So, so, so good. As I'm comparing notes with my friend, her meals are delicious as well. With a few big differences....my meals were already cooked, they were delivered to my home, I didn't have to do anything other than put it on plates, and this isn't a subscription that you're committed to. We've ordered three weeks in a row and I can't imagine ever stopping. Ever.
