I can't recommend Dr. Kristine Williams at Kathryn Taketa-Wong & Associates highly enough. I first…read morereached out at the end of 2024 when I was dealing with complex and overwhelming health challenges that were taking a serious toll on my daily life. I wanted a holistic approach--one that combined lifestyle changes, nutritional support, hormone therapy, and supplements. What I received was so much more than I expected. Dr. Williams took the time to understand the full picture. She listened with care and compassion, giving me space to share what I was experiencing, both physically and emotionally. What began as a search for answers around perimenopausal symptoms soon revealed deeper underlying conditions, including POTS and PCOS--things that had gone undiagnosed for far too long. Dr. Williams created a comprehensive, science-backed plan tailored to my specific needs, based on lab work, ongoing testing, and consistent monitoring. Appointments are thorough, typically lasting 30 minutes to an hour, and every visit feels intentional and collaborative. Dr. Williams always makes sure I understand what's going on in my body and how each part of the treatment plan fits together. She doesn't reject Western medicine--in fact, she incorporates it thoughtfully when it supports overall healing. When I was prescribed anxiety medication, for example, she reviewed it carefully and helped me understand how it could help in my specific case. One of the things I appreciate most about this practice is the team-based approach. You're not just getting one doctor's perspective--you're benefiting from the expertise of the entire group. The providers consult with one another to make sure every aspect of your care is considered, which makes a huge difference. As with most naturopathic care, insurance doesn't typically cover upfront, but this office is extremely transparent about costs and offers a range of payment options. If your insurance allows for reimbursement, they even handle the claims submission for you--something I've found to be a massive help. The office environment is quiet, clean, and calming. The staff is welcoming and responsive, and parking is simple thanks to the attached structure (with validation included). They also use a secure app that makes managing test results, appointments, and communication incredibly easy. This is truly whole-person care--rooted in science, compassion, and a deep respect for the healing process. If you're ready to invest in your well-being and want a provider who will walk with you every step of the way, I cannot recommend Dr. Williams enough. This continues to be life-changing for me.
