Now there are "new leaks". while they did not do the install, I was understanding of that and wanted the leaks repaired and system re-charged. but the tech said he could not stay as he had other people to get to... So my appointment does not matter. He would stay 60-90 minutes to refill freon for $500, but when the repairs are done in a few weeks, we will have to pay that again as it will leak out when connection is being fixed. Why is my appointment that was already bumped of lower priority than everyone else's? We WERE willing to pay for repairs and re-fill, but to blow me off to go to another call and want me to pay to re-charge system 2x at higher cost than the normal fee I can find everywhere on-line. We are done now. Hope you enjoy your $95 service charge.

Since this service appears to be listed on their website, I simply asked whether they perform that type of work. The representative immediately told me "no." When I mentioned that their website suggests otherwise and asked if she could verify with someone, she placed me on hold and returned asking for my name, company, and whether I was a third party. I explained that before providing all of my information, I just wanted confirmation that Ranck actually performs the service. Instead of answering the question, she insisted the answer was contingent on those details. I asked whether those questions had any bearing on whether the company offers the service at all, and she again stated that the answer depended on who I was. As someone calling about what could have been a significant commercial project, I found the interaction frustrating and unwelcoming. A simple, "Let me check and confirm whether we offer that service," would have gone a long way. I ended up thanking her for her time and chose to not pursue the conversation any further the whole experience was just very distasteful.

We could have been home by now but instead are dealong with an unrepaired home while the company liquidates. Its a terrible policy that should have been made clear

He came out, explained thoroughly what the code mean and what he felt the issue was and fixed it immediately. He also explained another issue the code could mean but thought that it was only the fan issue and not a coolant issue. So he fixed it quickly and ensured I knew to call him should the issue reappear. I was very pleased with the honesty and integrity of the men in this company. They chose to do their business in honesty, not overcharging for service not necessary. Because I am an older woman, many companies seem to try to take advantage and overcharge. NOT THIS COMPANY!!! CALL THEM! I now have a fully functioning refrigerator that has been going strong. The whole cost was less than $100. The technician even gave me information on what to ask for at Home Depot/Lowes to fix the issue of re-hooking up the water line after the water line was moved during a downstairs complete remodel.

I've now dealt with John, the Purple Plumber himself. What an angry, unhappy man. I work in customer service and this man hit every button of what not to do. He is a great plumber, I believe he is, but he needs to hire someone to deal with people for him. Grumpy, angry, impatient. He got so angry at me for paying within 10 days of a service call, he wanted payment the day of but he doesn't take credit cards. Hard to do if you aren't at home at the time of the service call. He wouldn't work on my type of hot water heater and instead of telling me so, he went off on me about how he hates the type I own. Wow, how is the guy still in business? Neffsville Plumbing and Heating charge $58 for a call out, use them instead. No plumber is perfect but at least if you avoid Purple Plumber, you won't be lectured and grumbled at by some old man that must hate his life and his job.

It was a very charming experience. A lot of the furniture was definitely in the Shaker and colonial styles. The lighting section was amazing. Lots of early American inspired design lighting. I wasn't in the market for lighting so I moved on to other things. The rug section was fun to peruse. I saw they sold one of my favorite brands - Dash and Albert. They also had a lot of braided rugs. Regarding the clothing section in the refurbished barn, it wasn't really my style but it seemed like there were some regular customer in there having an absolute ball shopping for some new outfits. It kind of reminded me of the fun, comfy and colorful styles you might find at Chico's. Aside from the above, there was plenty more to look at like some linens, wall art, candles, etc. Overall, this was a fun place to explore and a great place to stop in while in Lancaster County.
