Quality work, reasonable estimate, and the young man who did the work checked with me when issues arose.

The Olde Mill House Shoppes is two different buildings - the old stone house and an old barn - that have a wide selection of stuff that women love to shop like rugs, furniture, lighting, home decor, kitchen gadgets, pantry items, women's clothing and accessories. They also have a floral department that I think makes wreaths. My favorite part of the shoppes was the old stone house. Aside from admiring the lovely architecture I enjoyed looked at kitchen gadgets, kitchen decor, pantry items like bread mixes and such. I loved the creek of the floors too. It was a very charming experience. A lot of the furniture was definitely in the Shaker and colonial styles. The lighting section was amazing. Lots of early American inspired design lighting. I wasn't in the market for lighting so I moved on to other things. The rug section was fun to peruse. I saw they sold one of my favorite brands - Dash and Albert. They also had a lot of braided rugs. Regarding the clothing section in the refurbished barn, it wasn't really my style but it seemed like there were some regular customer in there having an absolute ball shopping for some new outfits. It kind of reminded me of the fun, comfy and colorful styles you might find at Chico's. Aside from the above, there was plenty more to look at like some linens, wall art, candles, etc. Overall, this was a fun place to explore and a great place to stop in while in Lancaster County.

Twice this business has shown their incompetence within 2 months…read more First, we schedule an oil change, get the vehicle back and instead of an oil change they inspected the vehicle. So, take it back and have the oil changed. Next I schedule an oil change and inspection on a different vehicle. I get the call that it is ready for pick up. I arrive and go to pay my bill, the owner says, oh, we've made a mistake. We never changed the oil. We only did the inspection. I say that's ok I'll wait, just change it now. It'll take 20 minutes. This is at 11:15 and he says that they take lunch at noon so I'll have to come back again. There was plenty of time to change the oil, Don was more interested in a timely lunch. So, I'm back again, waiting for an hour to have my oil changed. What should have been two quick drop offs and pickups turned into 8 trips instead of four because both vehicles took two visits to do the work they were supposed to do the first time. The owners son was smoking in the dirty trash filled waiting room, then proceeded to relieve himself without closing the bathroom door. There was a clear view into the restroom facilities and the sound of urine flowing filled the shop. On a plus side, he did wash his hands. As I sat waiting for a car that I was told was finished hours ago I got a good look at the unkept deteriorating building. Wires exposed hanging from the ceiling, dangling, unattached,. Rigged wiring hanging down from the ceiling throughout the building. Cigarette butts on the floor, empty cardboard boxes in the walkway, random trash scattered around the waiting room. This is a very unprofessional, unorganized. Pop and Son shop. The 'mechanic' was looking at videos on YouTube in the waiting area to find out how to remove a check engine light. He also took the time to tell me how much cars have changed since he was 16 and how he can't keep up with the newer cars. To top of my great debacle of an oil change, when I get in my car, I have a notice that the hood is open. This professional mechanic couldn't even close the hood on my car correctly. When he started the car to bring it out of the bay, he saw the same warning about the hood being open as I did, he just didn't bother or care to close the hood. These guys might be good people, but take your business anywhere but here, unless you have time to waste on multiple trips and finishing the little details yourself.
