Exceptional Service from Beginning to End…read more I cannot say enough positive things about my experience with Isaac Adkison of TE Certified and the exceptional service he provided from our initial consultation through the completion of a significant plumbing repair at my home. I contacted TE Certified after discovering a concealed hot-water leak beneath the slab of my home. From the very first visit, Isaac stood out because of the thoroughness of his assessment, his knowledge, and the amount of time he took to help me understand what was happening and the different options available to address it. This was a major repair decision for me, and rather than rushing me toward a particular solution, Isaac carefully explained the advantages, disadvantages, uncertainties, and long-term considerations associated with each option. Over the days that followed, I had many questions--and I mean many! Isaac answered every one of them with an incredible amount of patience, professionalism, and detail. He never made me feel as though I was asking too much or taking up too much of his time. When I needed clarification about specific items on the estimates, how the proposed reroute would work, the existing plumbing, freeze concerns, accessibility, restoration, or the potential for future issues, he consistently responded with thoughtful and knowledgeable explanations that helped me make an informed decision. What impressed me just as much was his honesty. When there were things he could not know with absolute certainty until the walls were opened or the existing piping was further evaluated, he said so. I greatly appreciated that. I never felt pressured or given false assurances simply for the sake of making a sale. When I ultimately asked Isaac what he would recommend as the best long-term solution for my particular home, he gave me a clear professional recommendation and thoroughly explained his reasoning. That gave my family and me the confidence we needed to proceed with rerouting the hot- and cold-water lines to the kitchen through conditioned interior space. On the day of the work, that same level of professionalism continued. After locating the plumbing manifold beside the refrigerator, Isaac made an extremely clean and precise opening in the drywall, preserving the piece so that it could be neatly replaced afterward. As the routing plan developed, he initially proposed one solution, but when I expressed concern about how it would affect the appearance and countertop area of the kitchen, he listened to my concerns and was completely receptive to exploring an alternative route I suggested. He evaluated it carefully and determined that the new lines could instead be routed behind the refrigerator and stove and through the lower cabinetry to the sink. The result exceeded my expectations. Isaac, with the assistance of Reeves, completed the work with tremendous care and attention to detail. The new lines were insulated, neatly routed and securely installed, and the workmanship throughout was exceptionally clean and organized. They protected the surrounding areas while working, treated the home with care, and left the kitchen looking virtually unchanged despite the extent of the plumbing work that had been completed. You would never know from looking at the finished kitchen that such a significant reroute had taken place. Most importantly, after the new lines were installed and the water was restored, Isaac checked the water meter to verify the result. The meter was no longer moving. After dealing with the stress of a concealed leak and having to keep the hot water shut off, seeing that meter remain still--and knowing the leak had finally been resolved--was an enormous relief. Another thing I greatly respect is that the project remained at the best-case estimate I had authorized: $2,915. There were opportunities throughout this process for the scope or cost to increase, but Isaac remained transparent about the work that was actually necessary and completed the agreed-upon repair accordingly. There is a difference between someone who simply knows how to perform a trade and someone who combines technical expertise with integrity, communication, patience, problem-solving, respect for the homeowner, and genuine pride in his work. In my experience, Isaac demonstrated all of those qualities. I also want to recognize Reeves for his assistance in completing the work so carefully and efficiently. Together, they did an immaculate job. As a homeowner, especially when dealing with a costly repair in an area outside of your own expertise, it is incredibly important to feel that you can trust the person advising you. Isaac earned that trust. He did not just repair a plumbing problem; he helped me understand it, thoughtfully walked me through a difficult decision, listened to my concerns, and ultimately delivered a solution that I feel very confident about. I am genuinely grateful that Isaac was the plumber assigned to m

I requested TE to come out and diagnose why an existing circuit was not getting power. Instead of…read morejust fixing the circuit, I agreed to a new panel for my house since it was 60 years old. The price I was quoted was over 12k. I felt the electrician on my job, Jason S. was very high pressure in his tactics and told me I needed to decide that day, or lose potential discounts. I had also been without a kitchen for over 30 days, so I agreed to the work. The next day Jason and an apprentice come out to start the job. They take one whole day to remove and replace the new panel, no problem. Here is where it goes downhill. On the second day of work, Jason and another apprentice came out and instead of prioritizing the circuit I hired him for, they start installing the hardwired smoke detectors Dekalb county allegedly requires. This took all day! By about 4 pm, I asked if he was going to get the outlet done so I could use my dishwasher and he replied "I guess if I stay here all night". I said I guess thats what you got to do then, and they were here til nearly 8 pm. Then he made several other unprofessional comments about staying late. Jason never came back to my job. A new Electrician came out on Monday, Jason said he had an emergency job. The part where they earned this rating comes when I found out my pool motor circuit was not working on the new GFCI circuit. I explained to them it originally was on a two pole circuit and now they had it on two single poles. It was drawing 240v and they had the model number and should have researched the wiring on their own as professionals. Rather than listen to me, I had to wait all day for the new electrician (with Jason on the phone) come up with a new quote to fix which included trenching up and re-wiring my entire pool, ANOTHER 5 THOUSAND DOLLARS! I was livid. I started looking into this and it turns out I was right, it just needed a 2 pole GFCI. I talked to the second electrician the next day and told him I want to talk to a supervisor or manager. I got a call later in the day from Jeffrey who was going to look into it and get back to me the same day. He did not. He did call me the next morning and agreed to send one of his best guys out to install a 2 pole and see if that solves the problem. Well guess what, it did! And, I didn't have to pay another 5K. I expected to hear back from Jeffrey again to ensure the job was to my satisfaction as you should on a service recovery. I did not. I feel lied to, and that I was robbed and almost taken needlessly for thousands more, had I not done my research which should not be necessary as a layperson. I understand from TE employees the Electricians control the cost, and they get a commission from it. Unfortunately, I paid for an electricians summer vacation because I trusted him. Luis L and Nathan the electricians at TE, thank you! Micah, Gavin, Phillip the apprentices, thank you too! Jeffrey I thank you for doing the minimum by ensuring what I paid for was completed. Jason, no thank you at all. You've sowed distrust in professionals and your industry with your practices.

This is not the company you want at your home no matter how bad your septic issue is. We had our…read moreSeptic tank pumped just over a year ago after a back-up caused a toilet to overflow. Septic Blue came out and pumped the overflowing tank along with some other repairs and claimed all other aspects of the system were in good order.  Flash forward to last night we find a flooded basement bathroom, hallway, bedroom, and storage. We had to file an insurance claim to replace hardwood floors, sheetrock, and carpet. All of this was caused by another back up due to an overfilled septic tank that needed to be pumped again. Typically routine maintenance is every 5 years without issues. We called Septic Blue out again to inspect and see what the issue was and check on the previous workmanship. Only to find out that everything would be at full price despite such a recent service. The techs dug up the tank only enough to pump out the contents and were able to discern that the drainage field was not functioning properly. They concluded that it needed remediation or a complete replacement. Why was this not assessed on the initial visit when they dug up considerably more of the tank and completed more extensive repairs? There was no mention of potential issues with the drainage field.  We paid them $500 today for the pumping and then they presented a bandaid solution ensuring future failure by remediating that drainage field for $7000. The more suitable option would be to fix it for good with a complete replacement which they proudly quoted at $13,000 that I now know to be $3000-$4000 over the competition. I don't even want to know that the overage is on the remediation.  I spoke with the very knowledgable field manager and he added some additional education to what I learned from the tech today. But despite the extensive experience of all reps and the manager, the initial solution provided failed and cost me. Septic Blue took no ownership of the issue and only proceeded to attempt to pull more money out of me and my family. So now here we sit wasting over $4000 on both visits and a pending insurance deductible with what I am sure will cause an increase to our premiums. Before I continue my search for a more competent company that stands by their work to finally get this fixed I have to go clean up the mud they left all over my sidewalk and driveway. You would think with so much experience they would have learned to respect someone's home at the very least.

After having another leak in the same spot 6 weeks later, I called Casteel to follow up with the invoice and pricing. Once I recieved the invoice, I noticed that I was charged over $650 to just cut the ceiling to see the issue. Yes, over $600 to CUT THE CEILING, which took 5 mins at most. Then, the repair was performed, which was another $600. I have now tried to contact Casteel for 3 weeks to get an explanation for the $650 charge and I cannot get anyone to talk to me. I have been transferred, hung up on, transferred to full voicemails, promised calls back in 12 hours, etc. Noone is willing to explain or ever give me the time to tell me why my simple 6 x 10 in ceiling cut was labeled as a "level 2" cut - which means it was in a dangerous or inaccesible location, prompting the $600+ charge. Long story short, had the second plumbing leak fixed for $350 by another company, compared to $1200+ from Casteel. DO NOT USE CASTEEL PLUMBING. You will be overcharged. Go to literally any other plumbing company. I hope this finally prompts Casteel to reach out to me, as they can see that I've called 10+ times and there are lots of notes on my account regarding this concern. Had a great experience with Casteel. We were able to get a quick appointment and the tech was prompt and polite. Donald gave a very thorough explanation of the possible plumbing issues. Once we had a plan, he worked efficiently. He was friendly, polite and professional. Highly recommend the company.
