    Lamb Gyro

The Lamb Gyro was absolutely delicious!!! The restaurant is super clean and they had great service!

Great halal! I loved the options for sides, you could get either pita, hummus or fries, I got the fries and it was good. I got two mix over platters and it was pretty good, the white sauce was a bit sour but it matched well with the meat. The platter rounded up to $10 and it was worth it to say. Only giving it 4 stars because the service wasn't that friendly. I told them what sauce I wanted and he interrupted me while I was talking and said to tell the chefs. I also thought you had to tell them what side you wanted when you're ordering and the cashier immediately cut me off during my sentence and told me to tell them when they're done making it. He seemed like he was in a rush and I was holding up the line, when in fact, there wasn't a line at all. They also add a service charge of 3.7%. The food was great it was just the workers that were a bit rude.

This is the best I've had the food tastes fresh I always see them making chicken on the grill that means this stuff moves !! When you order a specialty you might have to wait a bit because they make it fresh. The boys will take care of you they are always cool whenever I walk in. The food is delicious. There are also seats inside if you want to sit and dine in.

We ordered chicken tikka with rice and salad and a mix platter with fries. I personally enjoyed the chicken tikka kebabs. They changed the rice. I do not what they did to it, but it's an upgrade from before. I do wish the side salad had more greens in it. I can't wait to order this again!

    COMBO

Best halal on delivery I've had in a bit. Bonus this place also opens earlier than a few others in the same area. I got a combo with fries and falafels. The salad that came with the combo was the bomb. Phenomenal seasoning. Quick and easy ordering. Will definitely make a trip in person to experience the ambiance.

food was completely disgusting. Im under the impression the make the food with artificial meat. The customer service is a joke. They pretty much want you to buy quick and leave.... Usually the case of bad food

    Parchment paper in my platter

I have been here multiple times and i always give them the benefit of the doubt and try to give some space between my visits, hoping things will get better. But yesterday was the final straw. They served me mostly rice and it was all mushed together. The food was so bland. They had a dog in the restaurant while i was picking up my food. I was served no meat in my food. My nuggets were so oily. And to top it all off, i had PAPER in my food! So disappointed! I will never be going back!

Great Service and fast , staff was super nice. It's my go to spot for fast Chicken over Rice or even the Combo. They have different toppings you can add and salads at no extra charge.

Mixed platter over rice, pretty good overall -1 star for the Hummus. It was tasteless and the texture doesn't work with the rice. Pick the fries.

    Mix Platter (take-out)

Halal Boyz is an OK choice for halal cart food in this area. The Mix Platter (chicken and lamb over rice) is tasty, but the fries can get soggy as they are overlaid on, instead of separated from, the rice. The fries get further moistened by any sauce drizzled on top of the rice. A challenge for Halal Boyz is that nearby (by car, anyway) establishments offer better flavor and value, and more consistent execution and service, albeit at slightly higher prices. I've received bits of bone in the food here. The rice is sometimes on the hard side. And while some customers receive sauce thimbles upon request, others don't.

Wish I never even ordered from here. I was seriously craving halal and this was the closest place that I knew was open. Plus, the reviews didn't look that bad. WRONG. I placed the order on Grubhub for 3 Mix Platters for pick up. Stopped by 30 minutes after placing the order and none of the platters were made. I had to wait on line and order the food. Top it off, Grubhub pricing was $8.99 while in store pricing was $6.99. The two dollars extra per platter was not bad if the food was ready for pick up and I did not have to wait on line to order. But that didn't happen, ended up wasting another 15 min in store ordering, so the extra charge was unreasonable. When he was adding the salad, I asked for some chickpeas. He did not tell me it was extra. Instead he said that I won't be getting my fries that came with the order because I added a topping to my salad. I honestly was fine with paying a bit extra for the chickpeas separately but he refused and would not give me fries. I didn't want to make a scene, so I reluctantly left the shop. The 3 orders via Grubhub costed me $29.23 and what I got was three mix plates with meat, salad, and rice. NO FRIES. Very disappointed at the service. The food itself was mediocre. I should have stopped at the halal cart in front of Kohl's. The food was not good enough for having to deal with the server's attitude and bad service. Would not recommend to anyone.

It's a small place with around six tables and three staff members (two in the kitchen and one taking orders, serving, bussing, and cleaning). Not the most glamorous vision of a restaurant, right? But the food is tasty! We had the summer rolls, peppered calamari, the signature pho, and the beef short-rib pho. The summer rolls and calamari were good, you could taste the freshness of the veggies and shrimp. I wish the calamari had been a bit crispier and seasoned with a touch more salt and pepper, but it was still very good. The real reason I'll be coming back is the pho broth. Some people might describe it as slightly sweet, but to me, it had a rich, balanced flavor. I'm not sure if the short rib is available all the time (it does have a lot of fat, as beef short rib often does), but it was flavorful. Definitely coming back to try more.

Areas of improvement - don't bring out the main dish first and the appetizer next. It's senseless. There was a party of 11 that came in. The workers really catered to them and left the single diners to themselves but still expect a regulated tip. I had one napkin the entire time and no one ever came over to see if I needed anything. Ordered the big plate chicken that comes with homemade noodles. The chicken is flavorful and the noodles are the perfect accompaniment. Love the texture of the noodles. Nice and chewy. Literally came in a bowl. Found it tasteless. Service here is friendly and fast.

Incredible Uyghur food not just for Flushing standards but for the entire city as a whole…read more Everything here is halal so that's a nice plus. Went with a group on a Thursday evening, and the place is fairly small with about 10 or so tables. There was only one server but since there was only one other occupied table, this wasn't an issue. Service was prompt and friendly and our server was willing to explain things to some in our group who weren't very familiar with Uyghur cuisine. The space also had nice vibes, clean with understated and tasteful decor on the walls. We had to get the special laghman because this spot is known for that, and you get the option of either lamb or beef. We ordered both varieties and they were both delicious. The meat was tender and they're loaded with fresh vegetables, with the mushrooms being a highlight. The sauce in particular was incredibly rich and savory and I was tempted to get an additional order of noodles on the side just to enjoy the sauce some more. It was that good. Others in our group ordered the stir fried noodles which I got to try; it wasn't saucy like the laghman but it was equally delicious. We also ordered the lamb dumplings, which was probably the weakest dish of the night. They weren't bad, and for $15 you get a large plate of them, meant to be shared or enjoyed as an entree. It's just that for the area you can get better dumplings for a cheaper price. I probably wouldn't order these again when I return, but the chili oil and black vinegar elevated them a bit. But the real highlight of the night had to be the lamb kebabs, spelled kawap here, served on skewers. They are $5 a pop, so they're not exactly cheap but they are worth every penny. Grilled and seasoned to perfection with tender meat, I genuinely think these are the best lamb kebabs I've had in the city, and I've had a lot from dining at many Middle Eastern restaurants. These blow them all away. If you visit, make sure to get one or two skewers for yourself along with your entree. Finally we had some milk tea, served in a bowl and not a cup like you might expect. It was rich, decadent, a little salty, and a great way to end a great meal. All in all, loved my experience here and I'm eager to go back.
