AMBIENCE
This place is located near other restaurants like Banapple, Pharaoh Mediterranean Grill and Mama Lou's Bambino. Place was jam-packed and noisy during busy lunch hour. Despite that, I was happy they had seats for solo customers! I embraced all that liveliness and enjoyed the energy of both customers and staffers when they did their customer greetings. Utensils and condiments were conveniently located right in front of me.
FOOD
Miso-ichi Ramen had pleasantly hard noodles and strong umami flavor for the first spoonfuls. At some point, the dish started tasting very peppery and the broth's flavor got stronger towards the bottom. Thin slice of meat was tasty but I wish they served at least one more. I loved the consistency of the tamago! Too bad they didn't serve free cold tea; it would've been a big plus in my book!
SERVICE
It took less than five minutes for them to serve my ramen; they were THAT quick. Water refill was done proactively and staffers were consistently energetic with their greetings. Almost all staffers I walked by on my way out gave me a nice greeting too. read more
