Lemme tell ya...Stephanie saved my life. Two weeks ago, I had another salon do my hair since my best friends wedding is quickly approaching. What resulted was a complete disaster, especially since she was only supposed to touch up my roots. To her credit, the other gal wanted to fix it but I didn't want to risk her damaging my normally very curly hair with more chemicals. So once I got home from that appointment, I immediately searched for someone else and Stephanie was lovely enough to squeeze me in Two weeks later and here I am. My appointment was first thing this morning and lemme tell you... I'm LOVING my hair! She blended in the choppy roots, killed the brass and suppressed the 90s vibe it was channeling. After moving to Salinas, I was desperate to find a local hairdresser that could color my hair using no ammonia permanent hair color (like INOA brand). I contacted Stephanie via Yelp, and she replied to me within an hour. I was so excited to know that Stephanie does this type of coloring, and so I made an appointment. It was a year ago, in January 2018. Since then, I've been seeing Stephanie every 6 weeks as I need to constantly color my grey hair. Every time it is a pure joy and pleasure! She listens carefully what I'd like to do with my hair, from a haircut to a specific color, and suggests what would be the best. Stephanie never promises to do something that can't be done. Another great thing is that the time allocated for the haircut is purely yours! Stephanie doesn't take multiple clients at a time, her attention is 100% yours all the time. I've always been sceptical about getting my hair done and after years I finally came and she did such an amazing job, my hair wasn't the healthiest but even after she dyed my hair it didn't feel or look fried like other places I've gone. This was my first time ever coming to this salon. I was a going in for a hair trim and I was a bit nervous because the last lady who would trim my hair decided to chop off a good amount without my consent and lets just say I drove home in tears from the experience..
