Apparently when someone doesn't cover your grays (whites in my case) correctly and you ask them to fix it and this happens twice in a row after each coloring, you are the problem not the person coloring your hair. The owner literally just told me on the phone in a rude manner 'we will fix it this time but next time you need your hair colored you should go somewhere else because this keeps happening with you' !!! He went on and on about how the previous time it happened it looked fine to him (there were visible whites in the front)' and essentially accusing me of lying. Yep folks it's my fault that my hair that they colored yesterday still has some white and the base doesn't match the rest of my hair. What do you say to something like that ?!! We will fix it this time but go somewhere else after. Yeah like I even want to come back after that statement! When I proceeded to tell him he was being rude and condescending and that I would write a review about this he started yelling cutting me off saying 'are you threatening me?' Over and over until I hung on him. No thanks I don't need this abuse. There was another inicident where I booked a haircut with him. When he started cutting my hair he asked 'who cut your hair it's really uneven' all shocked but when I told him it was one of his staff and why I booked with him instead his whole demeanor changed and went on to say things like 'well if you don't communicate exactly what you want you might not get good results' again putting on me that my hair was badly cut!!! The owner of this salon is rude and condescending and If his staff messes up he will blame you. No accountability or respect.

My hair was literally SMOKING because of whatever chemicals they decided to use. My scalp feels like it has multiple cigarette burns... And the worst part is that after I spent seven hours there my hair, which was supposed to be blonde, is nothing more than a rats nest of gray! GRAY! It took three people 15 minutes to comb through my hair that was saturated in conditioner. It normally takes me less than two minutes. My hair is now brittle and broken. To top things off the owner had the audacity to charge me more for this mess than what I paid before! She wanted me to pay $230 when I paid $200 and it included a haircut last time. The hairdresser had the audacity to tell me that my hair was Orange, which is why it turned gray. It was definitely not orange and I hadn't touched my hair since the last time I went to this same salon back in March. I used their products. The owner's response to my hair smoking was that it was normal! Never in my life have I ever had my hair nearly catch fire from coloring it. I walked out. I will definitely never be back! I now have to face my clients with gray hair and I go on vacation in two days!

All of this, after looking at their prices. I realized the price was not fair as it said "12 dollars up to 15 dollars for kids 0-12 of age, but it was posted as that so I went to check it out. Once done, I was charged 30 dollars for a 10minute cut. I asked about it, they said the price was 25 years old and it was incorrect. Last I checked, if the price is incorrect they should let costumers know, it was of no fault of my own. I explained to the owner the situation she said I was wrong and that was for another salon, should her the address, and even the picture of the outside of the place. She didn't know how to respond, and walked to the back of the Establishment. They charged my card for 30 dollars, and gave me back a 5 dollar discount in cash. Gave back the money and Let them keep the 5 dollars. Not sure I'd go back. Even thought the actual hair cut was good, but it felt like I was been robbed and the owner did not care at all. Just walked away and expected me to be ok with it. If you go there you might be pleased with the results, just make sure you ask the price before you have anything done. Don't believe prices you see written anywhere online or on the door. 2 stars because I was ok with the hair cut, but I could have gotten that somewhere else as well.

**Worst salon experience ever**…read more I am extremely unhappy with my experience here. First, the price advertised online was not what I was charged. The website stated that a blow\-dry was complimentary, but when I showed them the website, they had to correct the information that same day and still did not honor the complimentary blow Dry even though they saw it was listed online .There were also additional charges that were not clearly listed online. Price was wayyyymore expensive More importantly, I went in specifically asking for blonde hair without brassiness I said it a million times I have been getting my hair professionally highlighted for years and know what works for my hair and always achieve a beautiful blonde when done correctly .was reassured that I would get the blonde color I normally have, even though they didn't do anything that other stylist do i absolutely did not get the result i was left with extremely orange, brassy hair that honestly looks like clown hair. This is honestly the worst my hair has ever been I paid for a full head of highlights, yet large sections of the back and entire areas were left without highlights had significant regrowth, and the left side was barely touched compared was shocked that this was considered a full head. The toner was also left on for far too long, and my hair is now more damaged than it has ever been.I had an important event this week and instead of feeling good about my hair, I am embarrassed and extremely upset about how it looks and feels Unfortunately, I also did not feel that the stylist was confident or experienced with the color I was asking for, despite reassuring me that she could achieve it. the salon owner had to keep showing her what to do . Made me Extremely uneasy and nervous The salon itself also had an unpleasant smell when I walked in and looked very rundown . Between the unexpected charges, not honoring the advertised blow\-dry, the uneven highlights, the excessive brassiness, and the damage to my hair, this was an absolutely terrible experience. I would **not recommend this salon, especially if you are looking for blonde hair.Save yourself the frustration and go somewhere else. Theres a lot Other better places I Promise . THis is the worst ! I would never ever go back !!

Original review: Haven Beauty came highly recommended by my acupuncturist, Rachel Delaney from Upton Wellness. I have allergies to a lot of products and had stopped going to spas or salons. I was honest with Haven about my allergies and informed them I've had issues with all products in the past at other salons, etc. I booked a facial and was floored with how knowledgeable and helpful Dawn was to me. She took the time to check the products she was going to use to see if they'd be safe for me. The facial was lovely and for the first time EVER, I bought the recommended facial cream as I was able to confirm it was in fact 100% safe for me. I never thought I'd be able to get back to a salon with my allergies and I'm so happy to have found Haven Beauty!! I feel like I'm finally on the road to better skin with safe products. I'll be back for more services The whole place is gorgeous and all of the staff were so friendly and fun!
