Not only did she insist on charging the full amount for a missed session due to an emergency, but she also had the front desk tell me she would have "no availability for the next few weeks"--a petty, punitive gesture toward a loyal customer. While businesses have rules, they also require basic human understanding and professional flexibility for returning clients. Valerie chose a one-time penalty over long-term customer loyalty.
