An unexpected event came up over the weekend and I wanted to get my hair trimmed for the event. I called around and V8 had same day availability which was great. The salon's interior is bright, clean, and modern. Due to a language barrier, conversation and customer service were limited to only the essentials and kept at bare minimum. Not a big deal since it's Chinatown. I asked for a trim. Hair wash, cut, and blow dry took about 25 mins. total. I didn't have split ends before the haircut but I walked out looking like I had them all over. My hair is very choppy and uneven as you can see in the pictures. I won't say more and just let the pictures speak for themselves. At least I made everyone at the event laugh with my haircut. Needless to say, I won't be returning for another cut by Judy. My haircut was $45 + tip.

I would recommend coming with pictures of what you want if you have any language barrier concerns. There is never too long of a wait and I usually get my hair started within 10 minutes of walking in. I've ever only made an appointment one time and walking in has never been a problem. A men's haircut is $25 via cash or zelle. The men's cut includes a wash as well, so the value is not bad considering other hair salons are either significantly more expensive or cheaper and the haircut is much lower quality.

He looked at my hair and looked at the picture, and he said I would need to do the chopstick method. I said fine, as long as he could do it like the picture. He scheduled me with Mac since he's the one who does that service. Hours of time off from my job plus $300-$400, all so Mac could use regular coils. When my hair was done, it looked permed, but not like the picture. I thought time or a few days would give it the final touch after following the instructions I was given. Nope. My hair literally has straight roots and curly ends. I have a picture from just days after having it done. My husband informed Andy, and we had to go based on Mac's schedule. Unfortunately, my schedule also involved having a family member in the hospital at that time. After we finally were able to schedule a day, we were told we still had to pay. We asked for layers & we agreed a good 1.5 inches to cut off the dead/dry ends w/the stylist. During her service, the stylist did not section nor measure any part while cutting. I gave her the benefit of the doubt as all stylist have their own way of cutting hair. To cut the story short, here's the BEFORE & AFTER - stylist wanted to charge $75 for LONG & THICK HAIR. I refused the price & she said it's the end of the night & didn't want to argue & said $65. Paid it as furious as I was & left.
