Another client was leaving as I walked in so I stood around as there was no reception area awaiting someone to greet me but nothing. Even after the other client left. So I sat myself and waited. Still nothing. 10 minutes passed and finally another client walked in and she was greeted and asked who she was her to see and for what service. Meanwhile, I have been in this establishment for 15 minutes without being spoken to or addressed. Needless to say I walked out feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome. I normally cut my own kid's hair, but I wanted a quick cut for both as we are visiting from out of town. BIG MISTAKE. And my kids sit very still for haircuts, so the horrible cuts were not due to them wiggling. The older lady cut my daughter's hair and made her bangs look like Lord Farquuad from Shrek. My son's fade is ridiculous, I do it better at home and I'm not a stylist. I fully believe this Great Clips hired people that barely passed cosmetology school! The older lady argued with me and said I was being charged for a haircut for my daughter. ABSOLUTELY NOT!!! Well she did was a bang trim, and clearly she did a horrible job at it. I was furious! I should have known what service I'd be getting by how empty the establishment was when I entered. The younger "stylist" was confused when I said "skin fade to finger length on top" for my son's hair. She asked if I wanted clippers used. Well DUH, how else will you do a fade.
