This was my first time here and Cynthia rocked! I went into the salon, very last minute, because I screwed up cutting my own hair. She squeezed me in right before they closed but didn't rush me or the job she did. She took her time and corrected my hair without taking too much off. She didn't even care to look at my reference picture or ask me what I wanted, I put my phone out with the inspiration pic and she looked at it for a second. Not sure why she was so confident she could do what I wanted without, I don't know, ASKING. I wanted waves for a fancy event I was going to and came out with the crunchiest ugliest hair I've ever had. Two of them were clawing at my head hard as hell while blow drying. It was horrible. Crystal is beyond amazing. She was extremely kind and a great conversationalist. I explained to her that my hair had previously been fried off by another stylist 2 years ago and she understood my fear 100%. Her approach of slow and controlled is the best and while it make take a little bit of a longer process it is absolutely worth it. I had a full bleach out done twice in one sitting and my hair still feels soft as ever. My ends were previously extremely fried and she recommended not touching those parts as much and to be honest I gave my full trust in her. I wanted a denim blue color and she told me that it wouldn't be best to do that in one try bc my ends were previously bleached. I trusted her and will come back in a few months to get my goal color. I walked out with a gorgeous dusty lavender and grey color and to be honest I'm LOVING IT! I walked out feeling so confident and loving my do. I also feel like I've made a new friend and would absolutely recommend anyone to her. Word of advice: TRUST YOUR STYLIST AND THE PROCESS. Most girls come in wanting the Insta famous hair color but you need to understand that the integrity of your hair matters much more. Until your hair is broken in pieces and you are balding in some spots you'll never truly understand. Don't aim for the perfect color in one shot. It's most likely not gonna happen! NEVER LIE ABOUT YOUR HAIR HISTORY. She is there to help you not harm you. As soon as the bleach goes on it's very obvious what you've done to your hair in the past so please be honest!! This will only help get you to your hair goals! Your hair can only take as much as it can. Using cheap products and boxed hair dyes is not gonna help you. It's not the stylists fault that your hair can't get to where you want it. It's your own at home care and most people need to remember that! read more

Don't hire Virginia for any Special events very unprofessional and books multiple events in one day here's a text I sent her after her service giving her a chance to apologize or refund my money and it's been 2 weeks with no reply so I have to leave this review so others don't get cheated by her.: Good morning Virginia looking at my wedding pictures now and I just needed to share that I am very upset I found out that Priscilla was charge for my hair and also the additional $50 for travel I don't think it was necessary to still charge for travel when you double booked and event before my wedding you asked me to change the time from 9 to 10 and then when you told me you were 15 minutes away you didn't get to the hotel until 1130 I do want thank you for my moms hair it came out beautiful but the assistant you brought was not at the same level of experience as you and there was a lot of time wasted with you fixing that hair she worked on my moms hair my mother-in-law's hair and last but not least my hair she did everything I asked her not to do I showed her a picture of the trial you did on my hair which was loose curls simple messy up do you and I got wet looking tight curls with a big bump that you then had to fix I broke down crying minutes before my ceremony started because the hair was not what I asked for and even when you attempted to fix it it was done so fast it was nothing like what we had practiced also there was no help with my vail placement so I had to figure out how to stick that in my hair without ruining the style I ended up with and as soon as you guys were done you were so quick to leave without apologizing or helping me with my Veil because Priscilla had already paid you guys her style was also very simple and you charged us both a higher price of 65 I can't re-create my wedding day I can't be on time like I wanted to but I can't go without letting you know that was very unprofessional and upsetting read more

I didn't select five stars because I didn't actually get work done but I did go and get a color and weave/extension consultation with Dianne and one of her clients, whose extensions looked amazing, happened to be there and gave me very concise information as did Dianne. They were both very honest (re pricing and maintenance) and Dianne was especially honest. Her client disclosed she had been going to her for five years and was very satisfied with her extensions but it was a lot of maintenance and wasn't cheap. Dianne discouraged me from getting extensions after learning my health background and I found this a bit surprising that she would take my health into account as I've had a few consultations and not one hairdresser has brought my health concerns up. Crystal, the hair goddess has blessed me!!! She is very sweet and professional. All my questions and concerns were addressed via e-mail prior to my appointment. She really knows her stuff and listens to what you want. I'm so glad I went to her because my hair was already previously balayaged twice with high volume bleach and I hated the unevenness and brassiness going on. I got a color correction to fix those issues. She works slowly to keep the integrity of the hair and this is what I love about her! I've had my hair melt off 3 years ago and I thought that my hair just can't handle going this light over all... but she took me there! It took around 9.5 hours but it was SO WORTH it. My hair is still intact without compromising any length :) I wish I found her sooner!!! Previously I had been seeing the same hairstylist for the past 4 years and spent a year of that trying to lighten my hair from dark brown to blonde and I was stuck with a yellowish gold. It took Cathy one night to get the blonde that I was trying for over the past year. She is very picky and takes her time with your hair and I love it!! Not only did I leave with the color that I had been trying for but I left with amazing feeling hair. Virginia (Owner) has done great with this place. it's a cool welcoming setting for us guys also, the people are way cool but most important my girlfriend loves this place and drives from Rancho to get her hair done here. Cathy is her stylist and has been for a long time. Personally If I did hair I wouldn't want to do my girlfriends hair because shes a pain in the ass when it comes to her hair, but Cathy does great with her and her hair looks awesome. So from me to you Cathy that makes my life a little easier lol! ;-) Now For the fellas: In the past I always hated going to any salon with a girlfriend just because women's hair just takes so damn long. I have been going to this shop for over a year. It is not in my back yard but I make the trip. I see Rosa and Virginia for hair dye about three times a year. I don't wait more than 10 to 20 minutes. (something I cannot say about other Salons). Virginia cuts and trims my hair too. I have have a lot of hair, it's Medium length and thick. I know, lucky me, but not everyone can cut my kind of hair and do a good job. Many have tried and left it very clumpy feeling or they thinned it out so they could work on it. One time a stylist at another facility thinned out so much of my hair there was enough hair on the floor to make a short to medium length hair wig. Virginia does a really good job with my type of hair without thinning it out. I have watched the skills of Irma and Virginia on other patrons, both do good work. The facility is always clean and the staff is friendly. If you are looking for a Bilingual, English and Spanish speaking shop this place can accommodate you. I hate to have to leave this review but need to because it's not fair for the prices and for people that work very hard for their money and end up scammed. When I came here my hair from the top was left nicely. She left it curled and didn't seem like it had a problem. The next day I went to work (I have to wear my hair up) and noticed that she had left me a LOT of brown in the bottom half of my head. It is a lot. I can't put my hair in a ponytail or bun bcuz it looks like only half of my hair had been done. When I curl it and put my hair down and i put it infront of my shoulders you can see a lot of brown in the back. I payed $185 for half work done. Never ever coming here again. I know there are other hair stylist that work here but the one that attended me her name was "Liz". Just a heads up. I'll post 2 pictures. I just went in for a trim and was very happy with the results. I went in last Friday after work with out an appointment so i had no problem waiting. I waited about 15 mins. I didn't get the name of the woman who helped me but she is right behind the front desk. I had very long hair and I wanted like a long bob and i even showed her a picture. I got nothing close to what i wanted. I got one length straight/chopped off hair to just below by shoulders. My hair was wet so I did not notice it until i got home. I will never be going back there. Be careful with who cuts your hair here. I thought what i was asking for was easy but apparently she doesn't know every much. Not to mention its not even straight.
