The only place I go to get my curls done! Lynette is spectacular as is Rhonda. They definitely can handle all kinds of hair.

Today was a really terrible experience at nation nails. We were here once before, and my daughter…read morehad her nails done by the older gentleman. That was a good experience however, today her nails were done by the woman who works there. She's a very friendly lady however when she removed the tips from my daughter's nails, she actually tore the tip off the nail till it tore the nail bed and caused her to bleed. She did this not once, but twice. Two nails were bleeding. I can't understand why she works in a nail salon but does not know how to do this in a way that does not injure a person. She's obviously not even trained properly. Never again will we return to this business. I just hope my daughter does not get an infection from the injuries they caused her today. Meanwhile the older gentleman was giving me a pedicure. It started a half hour late. Then he rushed through it because their next appointments had already arrived before he even began my pedicure. They are overbooking themselves and with just two people working, no way they can keep up and do a quality service. I regret ever going there.

Don't know why this salon has good reviews. Went to have a dip set removed. Asked over and over not…read moreto use the drill on my nails and my request was ignored. There was a lot of debate outside the English language which made me feel left out of the decision making process. After biting my tongue through a mostly-unpleasant removal, she begins to rub lotion on my arms and hands. Since neither of our hands had been washed, she was wiping nail filings and particles all over me. It felt more like an exfoliation. I left with dirty hands, fingers and arms and chemicals caked to my fingers. A few days later, my nails were peeling up from the drill, breaking and brittle. Nope! No thanks. Will not return. However, the man I assumed to be the manager was quite kind and talkative.

It was a rainy day at the beach and I searched for nail salons in the area. I am very particular…read moreabout cleanliness and this spa had the best reviews. The reviews did not lie! They wet warm, open, clean and did a wonderful mani/pedi. I would recommend this spa to anyone in the area or visiting Tybee Island.

Unfortunately cannot recommend as much as I wish I could! Came here to get my wedding nails done. I…read morewill say scheduling our appointment was very easy & I was able to send inspiration photos ahead of time so I had peace of mind that I would be able to achieve the vision I wanted for my wedding day. It was a bit of a scramble as soon as we got in. People were shuffled around and there seemed to be a lot of confusion over who was covering what services. Our pedicures were generally fine, and my mom's manicure went well, although I thought the line work on the French was a bit sloppy. I had originally said I wanted SNS with tips, but by the time of my appointment, my nails were so long and such a great shape that I decided not to add tips and to keep the shape. In filing them all to uniform length/shape, the manicurist made them incredibly thin and pointy, sacrificing the pretty tapered shape they had before. I was looking for a marble ombré effect which was sort of achieved. It also had gold detailing. I am used to nail artists painting on those details, but she used a foil paper which resulted in each nail looking different as opposed to uniform. The services were really pricey which I was fine with since it was for my wedding day. Although I wasn't crazy about my nails as they weren't what I was envisioning and I hated how they were filed to such a point, making my fingers look very stubby, they did look pretty in photos. I had them done on a Friday and my wedding was 2 days later. The day after my wedding, my nails began to disintegrate and crumble off. Mind you, these are my natural nails not tips. I would reach for a hand towel after washing my hands and the nails would just come off in pieces. The following day, the top layer of designs peeled off in full from each nail. So, 4 days after I had them done, I was left with stubs of nails and the basic matte white under layer of the SNS. I've never seen this happen and am just glad it waited until after wedding day, but I was super disappointed after growing my nails to the longest they had ever been. I reached out to the nail artist to let her know what had happened. I am not local so I couldn't go in for a touch up, but I figured that after the money we spent and it being a special occasion some of it would have been refunded. I just got a quick "sorry about that!" And nothing more. I have to think it was because of how filed down the nails were and the thin layers of SNS application. Super disappointing and I dealt with gross nails my whole honeymoon.

I was concerned to come here after reading the reviews. I was very impressed with the customer…read moreservice Kim gave our group and Sandy was so patient with my little one and gave her exactly what she wanted. Kathy was who worked on me did an amazing job, I am very pleased with my nails although I only had gel colors applied and no shaping of my nails or toes since I do that myself. We had 11 people in our party as it was to prepare for attending a wedding the next day, 5 adults and 6 little girls one only had a change of regular polish as she was 4. So some of the technicians attended multiple people,we had one of the ladies leave with bloody cuticles and blood under the nail you could see...I felt awful for her but her toes were fine. One of the girls had her cuticle cut by the sander that they use to sand down nail to get acrylic tips on, then the finished product look like footballs and they were not painted the color she asked for. We had really really hot pedicure tubs and one overflowed, but after about 5 min it cooled off enough to put our feet in with out burning yourself. In total we had 4 acrylic tips ( 1 set were good) One of the ladies had to go pay to fix her nails later that afternoon. 9 pedicures 1 regular change of polish 6 manicures I have to say that the sign says $30 mani and pedi but while you are sitting in the pedicure chair, they pass around colors on nails to pick your color.....they forget to tell you that gel nail polish double the cost to $60.00 for a mani and pedi. Then they ask if you want the deluxe which is a massage if the legs, the bride and I said no and they did it anyway and that is an additional 10.00 charge so now a mani and pedi had cost you 70.00 per person. They massage your shoulders and pound on you back etc and I think that is included but who knows maybe it's an additional cost? When the time came to pay the bill was 745.00 before tip, we left them a 70.00 tip despite the mishaps so $815.00 total for 11 people one who was a little girls change of polish only. I asked to see the cost per person and it was just numbers on a note pad no names or services listed so how do you really know since half of the party was gone at that point. All in all I felt like it was pricy for what we had done. I noticed they had some locals who were regulars including one of the ladies in our group. I think that if you don't allow then to cut your cuticles you minimize injury, and if you don't get gel colors 30.00 for a mani pedi is fair. I would personally not come back here since there are plenty of other places that have better reviews and I am sure cost 70.00 or less for a mani pedi. My tip to the owner is to be forthcoming about charges so you allow patrons to make educated choices when picking nail colors. Perhaps put a big sign over pedicure area or tell people these are the gel options, if you choose these they will last longer but cost double. I think that would be best since some people would pay that price, if it was worth it for them.

I had a great experience at Angel Nails. My nails were done perfectly, but honestly, the kind and…read morefriendly environment, plus my hand, arm and neck massage were completely unexpected and wonderful. I highly recommend this business.
