I'm from the Bay Area and was visiting for the holidays. I decided to try Hair Mode and luckily they were available for me to get my perm done on a Saturday. Grace knew exactly what I wanted in a perm, something more natural and light waves/curls. It was also my very first time getting a perm done. Before I got my perm, styling my hair in the morning would sometimes take too long and I would be late for work or going out with friends. I went here a month ago to get my hair cut for my birthday. I was doing a lot of research and looking at the reviews and pictures and felt that I could trust grace to cut my hair. Calling was easy to set up and appointment. I arrived 30 minutes early the salon was empty had pleasant decor, and was clean and neat. she was able to cut my hair fast. I showed a couple of reference pictures of the "jellyfish" hairstyle ive been seeing on tiktok. She works fast washing, cutting, and styling your hair takes less than an hour. She was expertly cutting and measuring the angle she seems to be highly experienced and knows what shes doing. i like the way she layered my hair and how my haircut came out! I included pictures of it styled and unstyled. I ended up reccomending this salon to my friend who had her hair cut a few days ago and she also loved the outcome!! I called during the morning and requested for the soonest possible time in which I was thinking few days later but she was generous enough to fit me in the same day. I had long hair below my chest and wanted to chop it off to below shoulder length. The process was smooth and I showed her an inspo photo, in the Inspo photo the model had messy/curly hair. Services I get here include haircuts and down-perms (IYKYK). I also pick up all my wax and occasional shampoos here as well. If you have product in your hair she will wash your hair first, then cut, the wash again! That's the kind of service I expect for the money I'm paying. I have very fine hair so I am always hesitant to try new places but my hair was too long so I decided to give this place a try. It was quite easy to get a same day appointment and the store was clean. I didn't really liked the haircut at the beginning but it got better after a few days and now I like it a lot.
