I have been going to Caitlin for 4 yrs now. My daughters also go to her. She does a wonderful color and cut and always on time. Her Aunt who also does hair, owns the salon. It is very comfortable, welcoming and clean. Caitlin is always happy to do something different. She will work with you on ideas and if you can bring a picture, that is always helpful. I wasn't happy the cut especially during to the uneven length and choppy layers on one side only. Not sure what happened but I called for them to fix it. When I went in they said it was my imagination, the cut was not uneven and they wouldn't fix it because it cost them money. I'm glad I didn't review the day I got my hair done...and here's why. Day#1: I was 100000% in love with my hair. The color was perfect and I was elated. One week later and the color has faded in chunks...with only TWO washes. This isn't my first rodeo dying my hair...it's obvious that permanent dye wasn't used. Now I have sections of faded color that was done a week ago. I was planning on making this salon my regular spot...but not with this being the outcome. read more

DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS SALON! My baby shower is this weekend and my mom and I are on our way to get our manicure done at 12pm and 1pm and it is 11:38am and I just received a call from the salon saying the girl isn't coming in because she got sick and they have no one else to do it!!!!! I understand things happen, but they should have called earlier not 20 minutes before our first appointment time , they are beyond unprofessional and could have handled this differently to make it right ! My current salon raised it's prices and my stylist left so I'm looking for a new salon and this place is not it. They are charging average prices so they know they cannot compete with higher end salons but their product is far below average. You're better off at a random mall chain. Oh, and don't bother trying for a manicure while your color is setting, the gel removal is extra (who does that?) but at no extra charge you get a speech about removing it yourself. They have essentially no colors to choose from (maybe a dozen) and the entire process is apparently a chore to them. Go anywhere else. I also was there when someone was trying to use their groupon and it seemed like things were not going well with the stylist. read more

GROUPON CUSTOMERS TREATED POORLY! I purchased a Groupon for a haircut and single process color. I have a engagement in the very near future to attend so I scheduled an appointment so I could have my hair done prior to the engagement. I arrived 15 minutes early, and they said there was no appointment scheduled for me until Mid September. I would not have booked an appointment after the engagement, that was the point of having my hair done. The owner came up and said sorry, we do not have anyone here to help you. I explained the situation, and she did not even offer to look in the upcoming week to see if she could accommodate me. She said I could get my money back from Groupon. Now I am scrambing to find a salon that can accommodate me prior to my engaement. Very disappointed in this establishment and their bad business practices. read more

I used a Groupon for a haircut and color with Caitlin. First, the salon did not have a friendly atmosphere. In fact, the vibe there was just weird. I had a severely limited choice of color for my hair and I was not happy with how it turned out. As to my haircut, it was one of the worse cuts I've ever had. I had clear specifics of how I wanted the cut and length (it wasn't a hard hair cut) and I ended up with an extremely short haircut and not at all what I wanted. I will have to wear a baseball cap for 2 months until it grows out long enough to be able to even style. As if that wasn't enough, I found three areas where long strands of hair were left uncut. The cut was sloppy, choppy, and looks terrible. I am very unhappy with the outcome. I am used to a salon that takes time to wash and massage your scalp, my wash was very rushed. Caitlyn cut my hair so fast it was over in a blink. Most stylists, on short cuts, will cut to a point and ask if you want it shorter. She asked no questions, did not check with me about length at all. I couldn't tell how short she was cutting it in the back, but it almost seems like a buzz cut. After the cut she never offered me a mirror to see the cut from the back. The entire event was horrible and I will never go back. I would be even more upset had I paid more money for this experience rather than using the Groupon. read more

Hair Images on Perry Highway in the North Hills is the worst salon I've Ever experienced. They are rude to Groupon customers. I went in for cut and over all color. Supposedly, there are two Caitlyns who work there (accordingly to the receptionist) mine had very dark colored hair when I saw her in March. She had quite the rude attitude, and was incompetent. Two weeks later my entire color faded, with my hair brittle dry. I've gone to many salons. Never has this happened before, as I take great care of my hair. When I called back asking to speak to the owner, I received No follow up. Unprofessional. It's clear to me, the only way this salon can stay open is via Groupon. Their good reviews on Groupon are more than likely fake...don't buy into it. They are Always offering Groupons constantly, which should tell you something for a small salon, with very few stylists. Obviously, customers aren't coming back! Don't bother. You will regret it, not worth the discount! If I could give zero stars, I would. read more

They have a Groupon, so I paid my $45 and I called the salon for an appointment. I asked for Andrea, and the girl who answered the phone said, she'd have to call her for her available hours. The girl called me back a little while later and said Andrea can do you tomorrow at 5pm. I said, no that's not going to work since I work till 5pm. I asked if they had ANYONE ELSE for an evening or early Saturday and I heard her flipping though pages and she came back and said, we don't have anything in the evening until the end of JULY or the middle of AUGUST. Now I realize that I have till December to use it, but I wanted to get my hair done next week. I said, "you've got to be kidding me?" and she said real snippy like, "Well, you do know you can return the Groupon." I told her, "don't worry, I will... Thanks for nothing, and it's nice to know you treat your first time customers like this." I hung up. VERY RUDE AND IGNORANT....
