DONT go here. They suck at ombré coloring. Showed her a picture of the hair I used to get done by my artist in Michigan, and asked her if she could do it that way. I don't have the time to be driving to Michigan to get it done like that anymore.. so I decided to find someone new. It's super hard for me to trust people with my hair, but I gave it a shot. She told me she could totally do it. I dyed my hair with Féria back in May. Before realizing how bad it is for your hair in the long run. Anyways, I was told to use the purple shampoo for blonde hair to strip the color away in able to bleach it again (by someone else), so I did that for 3 months. When I got there, I explained to her that I had tried dying it purple & that another stylist had told me to strip it for a couple months with shampoo in order to get it out for the most part. She never said ANYTHING about Féria & bleach not mixing well until AFTER she had rinsed my hair out, then proceeded to say "you're not supposed to mix Féria and bleach, but you have really strong hair." So what if I didn't? It would have been chemically cut. Anyways, a couple front pieces turned out orange, which was already a little disappointing but, it's to be expected after the feria & bleach mixing, which she failed to tell me was still a danger at that point. She cut my hair, which, did look good. However, when she was done, she did NOT show me the back of my hair. I had no clue what it looked like until the day after when my husband was taking pictures of me. That's when I saw it. For anyone that knows anything about ombré, knows that it's supposed to blend going down & then to another color. No. It looked like I had dyed my entire head of hair blonde and then it grew out, it was a straight line across the back of my head, brown to blonde. You could even see where the brush was stroked on my hair. So I went back that very moment and asked for a refund. They were super rude about it, trying to convince my husband to let them "fix" it. Obviously, I didn't want that. After enough complaining, the refund was finally given. ONE MORE THING. They had 2 other customers come in while I was doing my hair & I had to wait for one of them to get cut and washed before she even checked mine, this was the second time around because apparently she didn't mess up enough the first time. Lol. She asked another stylist to check it for her while she was doing this other girls hair & when she was done, she checked it herself and told me that it wasn't changing so she was going to just rinse it out. She seemed like she was in a huge hurry to get me out of there.
I had friends tell me how terrible it looked, and that "I better have gotten a refund." I showed my friend's mother who is a hair stylist & her exact words were "I could have done better than that if I was blind folded & had to use my feet." I messaged my stylist in Michigan who said "I can't believe they even charged you for that, that's awful!"
LONG STORY SHORT: I'm going back to my stylist in Michigan and will never ever step foot in here again.
Her name was Jennifer. Do with that what you will.
