I was extremely over charged for my short almond shaped friend tip acrylic nails. which should have been 55. I also had a 15$ eye brow wax and was charged 92$. T and T has been my go to for pedicures for the last several years. My regular place in the mall closed and the very experienced nail tech Anna moved over to T and T. I have had Anna doing my toes since 2012. This salon is very modern, and conscientiously clean about everything. The tubs are lined with clean plastic coverings before filling. Although most of the techs speak their native language, they are Al very friendly and go out of their way to make conversation with all the clients. Prices are very reasonable. There are a lot of repeat customers there, this means many people are happy with their shop. They have an online appointment calendar to schedule anytime you log on. Walk ins are also welcome, but I would make an apointment as they get quite busy. I would recommend anyone make or female to use T and T for their manicure and pedicure. They do waxing too! read more

Pros: Very good pricing, if you want something simple, you'll probably leave satisfied with the look. Cons: They don't know how to say "not today" or "come back later" to walk-ins. They will say yes and you will sit at the pedicure chair for hour(s) (Yes, plural - more than a handful of times) or in the waiting area wondering if you've been forgotten. Always make an appointment and even then, allot plenty of extra time. I also have had experiences where the language barrier caused me to not get what I wanted (Have asked for simple nail art that needed adjustments however that couldn't be communicated, same thing with asking if any pedicure packages included a heel scrub - did not know what I meant). read more

My sister and I took our mother here for pedicures on mother's day. We scheduled an appointment for 10:30am. We showed up 10 minutes before our appointment and didn't get sat until 11:00. We were told to enjoy the massage chairs until we get our pedicures done. They started our pedicures at 11:30. All 3 pedicures were rushed and finished in about 15 minutes. The workers are nice! They were just very rushed. It wasn't a horrible experience, but the wait and lack of time spent on us was the reason for the rating. read more

First timer. The place is dirty. The guy who did my pedicure rushed through it ... 15 minutes maybe. Not sure if that is his normal but it was the shortest pedicure I ever had. He wasn't very friendly. He did not paint all the way to the cuticle on most toes. I hope they look at these and attempt to improve things. First time I did not provide a tip. T & T is about 10 minutes from my house. It is not my number 1 place to go but it is a good option. I think they do a good job, have great prices, and they have a great amount of polish. I have a job that requires my hands getting dirty. They not only did not clean under my nails before painting them, they did not cut the cuticles or push them back, or soak them. The pedicure was a different experience in itself. I asked for the top-tier pedicure, and I was told "you no have time for that today, you look like busy woman". If I didn't have time, would I have asked for it? All of this was after waiting for an hour of the previous day, and they were getting ready to close so they rescheduled me promising to take care of the next day with an appointment first thing in the morning. I feel like I was rushed, I didn't get what I asked for, and I don't Recommend this place at all. read more

We called the salon and spoke with John who stated they would redo my nails. So i went in today for the redo and the same woman who did them invaded my space, said that she told me they wouldn't be exact but similar!!! Wtf is similar in those 2 sets of nails ??? Colors wrong, finish wrong, design wrong !! As i sat down with a very sweet woman to have the nails done, the first woman sat across the room glaring at me. She made me so uncomfortable that i had the pumpkin removed and then left. Do not go to this salon! read more

HORRIBLE SERVICE!! Not worth 29 bucks. The lady was rude, I asked the manager for my techs name, she would not give it to me. My nail tech did not take her time and did a poor job assisting me. I came here for a nice relaxing Mother's Day gift. As I'm 9 months pregnant and wanted to treat myself! Coming in from out of town I wasn't sure where to go so I picked my old spot I used to go to 10 years ago... man, a lot has surely changed. I came in with my two sisters for four services. (One dip manicure, one full acrylic set, one "color me pretty" pedicure with gel and French, and another pedicure). Not only were they very unwelcoming, but the whole experience was awful from start to finish. Both My mani/ pedi was done before either of my sisters services were even close to being done. My toenails are short so I suggested just doing a basic white to which I was ensured " no we can do it" ( assuming because French is more). Anyways, after "completing" all services I went to pay where I asked to speak to a manager about how awful... during the pedicure the woman did not once even rub my leg/ foot even though I did not pay for a basic pedi. To make matters worse, the man cut my sisters cuticles so bad. I attempted to speak to to the owner Hana who tried to guilt trip me into " my employees feel bad when they do bad work and this is how they feed their families." I was told I would be receiving a $30 credit per service for future appointments to which I declined and asked to be reimbursed as I am not local ( nor would I ever step back into this messy place- and yes it was insanitary as well) and finally we agreed that she would credit the money back to which she never did . I will leave photos of the work they are apparently proud of so that you can make your own decisions next time you want to treat yourself or your family. read more

My first and definitely last time going to this place, the technician was not only getting angrier and rude but also getting more rough with my hands when I would kindly ask her to please straighten the crooked nails (she had the intention of leaving them this way) or to stop filing because she kept going SHORTER AND SHORTER, the ending result is extremely bumpy and round on the sides with uneven lengths. Gets busy on the weekends, so you have to wait but I believe it's worth it. They are nice and they know what they are doing. Don't expect to get there at your appointment time but the quality is nice. It was my first time doing dippimg and it was better than expected when I asked for a certain flower design. read more

I scheduled an appointment for dip and pedi. I was told to take a seat and waited for about 15 minutes. While waiting a customer walked in looked at the list and was walking out when they stopped her and said come on back, over the 3 of us waiting that had appointments. It just got worse from there. I was there for 3 hours for a dip and pedicure. My dip nails started chipping the next day. I went back to have them fixed. They fixed 5 nails. The next day the chipped again. I only gave them a chance because my regular nail salon was closed for vacation, I wish I had waited. My services were $105 read more

If you are looking for a clean salon and friendly staff, this is definitely NOT the place to go. If I could give zero stars I would. My daughter, my granddaughter and I set out for a morning of fun starting with pedicures. We even had appointments but were still treated rudely. They have a full menu of kid services, but no actual accommodations for kids. They just shoved a beaten up Winnie the Pooh pillow behind her back. They did however take the time, actually multiple times, to let us know if she messed up her polish they would NOT fix it. I was sitting in one of the back chairs and had full view of the uncleanliness in this place. Including on the chairs themselves. What happened to good customer service and actually caring about the people in your establishment. What a shame. I for one am tired of going into places with staff acting like they're doing ME a big favor by performing services or just waiting on me. I will not be going back to this establishment and they should really start to think about how they're treating their customers because we were not exclusive to the rudeness. It really is a shame that you just can't find a place to go into where people are actually nice to you and happy that you're there. read more

Every time I get my nails done here, I end up bleeding. They're more quick than careful and always tear up my cuticles. I like a simple matte black acrylic set. The first two times I had this done, everything went fine (besides having my cuticles torn). The matte came out perfectly. However, this past time, the polish bubbled and he had to repaint them. Which, he was annoyed with. He was also very rushed after he had to redo them. This lead to him leaving black smears of gel polish across my hands. I finally just told him to forget the matte and give me a topcoat. Anyway, my nails are pretty enough. The world won't end over a set of fakes. But for $45, I'd like better service and a better polish. It's been a week and they're already chipping like crazy. It's probably worth mentioning that, as I was waiting, several appointments had come in-all of which were turned down or postponed because the place had double booked. Tired of giving this place the benefit of the doubt. I've been going here for a year and a half. I always tip 25-30%. The past few times I have come I have had the younger girls gather around my nails and laugh. It made me feel insecure. Is it my color choice, my jewelry, the way my nails look? Maybe it's nothing at all. I came back today and waited an hour and a half (which is typical so I wasn't upset). 90% of the time I get gel acrylics. This time I called the salon and asked if I could bring my own color and they said yes. I sat down in seat 2 and everything was going fine until the lady brought me 2 gel colors that looked like the color I brought and tried to convince me to pick one of those. I said "no thanks, I just want the one I had." She proceeded to tell me the nail polish I had was just sparkle top coat and not color...that's funny because it's my nail polish and I know that it's not just a top coat. She proceeds to tell me I MUST pick out a new color because mine just won't work. She told me it wouldn't look good. I told her that I really wanted to use the one I had and when she realized the polish was mine she showed me two more colors that looked like mine but were in gel. I clearly told her again I wanted to use mine even though gel lasts longer. She proceeded to roll her eyes, put her earbuds in, forcefully grab my hand, and poorly painted my nails. Everything she did after, she did with anger and asked me to pay before she proceeds. She also left me to go to the back of the salon multiple times. She ended up cutting my finger with the machine which has never ever happened to me before. I will not be returning after 1 1/2 years here. read more

I only get my nails done at a salon maybe once a year so when my fiancé bought me a gift card for Christmas, I saved it to use before our planned vacation in July. Two weeks ago, I go into get my nails done, girl did a great job (despite telling me no to the first two colors I picked out), go to use my gift card and she tells me that it was already used in Feb. The gift card has not left my possession since Christmas. There is no possible way that it was swiped by me or anyone I know. All the manager would say is "I will look into it" she took my number and never called me back. When I called to follow up, the person on the other line only said "she will call you back" I lost the value of the gift card along with paying for the services. Something is messed up on their end with their gift card system and the little treat for myself turned into a disappointing experience. I hate writing bad reviews, but I dislike being ripped off even more. read more

I'm from outside of DC and was a bit apprehensive about going to a salon I had never been to while out of town but with a badly broken nail I took the chance and I was so happy with the results! Nina was my nail tech. She was super attentive and asked me plenty of questions in order to give me exactly what I asked for. I'm super picky when it comes to my nails but I am so glad I found her! The salon itself is very clean and pretty. All of the other techs were super nice as well. I would give 0 if I could . We took two girls who have disabilities in to get a manicure for the prom. This was supposed to be a fun day for the girls to be pampered. They refused our service because their hands would be a little more difficult to do even though we said we would assist. Then the gentleman if you could call him that said that one of the girls is to loud. When asked are you refusing to give us service because of the disability he said yes. The tech I had the last few times messed my nails up. He didn't smooth out the French after the second coat causing blurred edged making it look sloppy. Last time, he didn't put enough polish on, and there were spots in the polish. He cannot communicate with you either which is frustrating. I feel like the other techs have happy customers, and it is a clean facility. I'm not sure if I'll be back though. read more
